Even though I live in AZ, mornings and nights can be cold, so I love this flannel nightgown. Over the years I have bought several and I continue to wear and enjoy the old ones. The fabric for this gown is cozy and soft and perfect to wear without a heavy robe. Also great for travel; no need to pack a robe when visiting family. I bought the large petite because a regular sleeve is too long for me. It fits perfectly. I love LL Bean clothing and continue to be pleased with the quality of the items I order.

This is a yummy soft heavy flannel. I bought a large because I wanted a roomy nightgown. It goes nearly to the floor, which is great. It's attractive without being fussy. Just my style.

This cozy soft flannel nightgown works great to keep the chills away in the camper at night!

I bought one last year and regretted not buying another so I bought one this year. They were the exact same wonderful flannel, soft and substantial. I ordered a size up because even though they are true to size I like extra room in a nightgown.

I bought this for my wife's birthday. She loved the fit, color, weight, length, & that it has pockets!!!

It's so very warm and comfortable. It washes up wonderfully.

I'm never disappointed with the flannel nightgowns from LL Bean. Washes up nicely. I purchased a large and fit is perfect. Flannel is a nice weight. I like the detail and pattern of the scotch plaid.

This was my first LL Bean nightgown, and it is my new favorite gown! The flannel material has substantial weight, is soft and comfortable with well secured buttons. It is roomy and nearly to the floor. Next time I will order the Petite X-Large.

Perfect! Cozy, warm, and comfortable and I really like having pockets. Washes well, too. Pretty pricey but if on sale, more reasonable. "Petite" sizing, for length, was right choice for me.

I like my nightgowns large, so I bought XL. It will be OK. I have not worn the heavy flannel nightgown, yet, because we are having unusually warm weather. I washed it and it is nice and fluffy. Will be cozy warm.

As many reviewers have mentioned, the fabric is rather lint-riddled at first. I washed and dried it twice before wearing, and that seemed to do the trick. Size is true. I am a size 18/20 and ordered the 3X. It was roomy, but not overly so. The length was perfect for me; it gently brushed across the top of my feet, and I am 5'5". Color is beautiful and construction is perfect. This is my first gown from LLBean, so I cannot compare to previous versions, but I am a very satisfied customer with this gown.

I was worried that washing this garment would shrink, particularly in sleeve length, but I've washed it several times and no shrinkage. Warm, comfy, and flattering with the pleats.

Absolutely wonderful, comfortable and warm. Its just perfect.

Let me start by saying I like my clothes to fit loosely. I hate tight clothing, especially pajamas and nightgowns. I'm also a 40F so I ordered in plus size. It goes all the way down to my feet. Awesome quality and fast shipping. So glad I bought this!

This flannel nightgown is roomy but not overly so, hits at the ankle -I'm barely 5'4"- and is soft and snuggly. Washed up nicely without any noticeable shrinkage. Colors are saturated and beautiful. I'm very pleased and can't wait to wear it.

I love this nightgown. The flannel is more heavyweight than I can find in the stores, and it doesn't pill when washed, nor does it shrink. The large is nice and roomy, which is what I like in a nightgown. If I wanted it more fitted, I would have purchased a medium.

Every year I treat myself to two flannel nightgowns from LLBean. Bean makes the best flannel nightgown hands down. The flannel is so soft and holds up wash after wash. Each nightgown has two side pockets - perfect for tissues. The cost is on the high side compared to flannel nightgowns you can purchase elsewhere but it is well worth the extra money.

Comfortable for all day wear at home. Having pockets is a terrific addition, but I really miss the little collar. The collar was just enough so that I could turn it up to avoid a draft on the back of my neck when sitting and relaxing.

I love, love. love Bean's Scotch plaid flannel nightgowns. I have several Bean flannel nightgowns and they're all great, but the Scotch plaid flannel really is as advertised, the softest ever, so cozy and comfortable I may never get any other kind again.

I love the flannel nightgown. Pockets are new this year for me! Not sure how I feel about them, add bulk when laying on my side but nice to have when I need a tissue for my nose. Nothing feels so great as to wrap a warm flannel nightgown around your body, and these are made from a good grade of flannel that feels extra nice.

My husband bought me this gown for my birthday last year. (I've ALWAYS wanted a true flannel nightgown like my grandma always had. Her hugs were the softest) and this gown did not disappoint! I ABSOLUTELY Love it. I'm not really sure if it's true to size because I always buy my gowns big. (WAY TOO BIG for my frame) because I do not like to get tangled up in my gowns. I would normally wear an XL but I got 3x. It goes all the way to my ankles (which I Love) and the sleeves are easily rolled up if I need them to be. I have plenty of room to Waller in. I am a mover and I never get tangled up in this gown (probably because of its large size) I've worn this gown every day for a year. It's even softer today than it was straight out of the package. And the pockets are perfect for carrying things from one room to another. I never thought I would need a nightgown with pockets but, now I'll never buy another one without them. I LOVE IT! I just bought a second one and I absolutely can't wait to get it. This is exactly what I've always wanted in a night gown!

I love this nightgown. It is beautiful to look at and soft and comfy to wear. It fits as it should and I would highly recommend this product to anyone who just loves to sleep in soft clothes.

This gown is perfect for those cool nights in both the fall and winter. The material is high quality, nicely made and fits exactly as we had expected. There is no fading nor any loose threads after many washes. Truly a beautifully made gown and wonderful value.

I bought 3 of these in 2011 and I am going to replace them this year. I'd say 9 years of wear is worth every penny!
