This is the softest jacket and beautiful in canyon rose! Is there any chance that you will add one with a hood in the future? That would make it perfect.

When wash though it has fuzzy and they get on your clothes. Very warm though.

The last one I bought shed from day one. Returned it and next one did same thing. Returned it. Only happened with the orange colored one. All 3 of the others are fine.

I love the colour (dark marine blue) and softness of this jacket. The sleeves are too long, but doable. The fit is loose-ish, which I like in a jacket. I don't like the LL Bean tag on the breast, so I used a black permanent ink marker to carefully ink out the white and red loggo. A side tag with the loggo (or none at all) would be more tasteful.

Only 1 thing I would change about this jacket - I'd like it about 2" longer. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying wearing it, but not in very cold weather - I'd like it at least to the lower end of my hips

This is soft and very warm. I love the high collar as it keeps your neck warm. It's smart looking with jeans as it gives a finished look. I would have given 5 stars; however, there was an unpleasant scent. I washed it with a scented detergent, dried it, and hung it outside. That did help! It washed beautifully.

I love this coat except for one thing. Wish the sleeves were lined with slippery material. Hard to get on over a sweatshirt or sweater. If you intend to wear this layered I would suggest ordering up one size, or order misses rather than petite. Is warm, looks beautiful, and I feel beautiful in it!

The fleece material in this jacket is divine - so soft and warm and thick. I am often cold so wear it more as a sweater inside. My wish though would be that the fit and cut would be more feminine - I find it very boxy. I also don't love the logo or the flap on the pocket and elbow pads. I wish it was cut with princess seams and the back was cut a bit longer - as it is, it's a very straight cut. It's not quite long enough for me - my hips get cold and would love a longer cut. But the cream color is really beautiful as is the green. It was a toss-up for me which one I would get, but for now went with the cream. May have to get the green later in the season!

I deliberately got a larger size than I usually wear because I don't like tight fitting jackets. I like to be able to layer under them. This jacket is large enough to do that without being super sloppy on me. It's quite warm on a cold day, although not a great windbreaker. It's sturdy and well-made, and feels very cozy with plush fleece both inside and outside. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know what the result of that will be.

The jacket is a perfect fit, excellent warmth and great look but sheds like crazy. I purchased a white jacket and have never had fleece before so I was surprised to discover white fleece all over my clothing. I have washed it twice and used a pile remover inside and out to alleviate some of this. Will have to be careful of what I wear it with.

Love the jacket but wish sleeves and waist a bit longer. Love it's soft sweater-like qualities inside and out. Perfect for brisk morning dog-walking. Sometimes I buy medium men's shirts but I really wanted the fit and color of this jacket. Longer sleeves & waist please.... then would have been perfect.

Super warm, comfy, and I bought it slightly big so I could layer under it. One caveat: the fuzziness is not just on the outside. So I tried putting on my ivory jacket with a black shirt, and...well, you can guess what happened. It's probably unavoidable, but was a bit of a bummer since a lot of my winter clothes are dark. I'll just have to wear this with lighter ones, or ones I don't care get fuzzies all over them (i.e. not work clothes). Still, a fun jacket.

After wanting this jacket for months I finally ordered it and looked forward to its arrival. However the style of the jacket is not good on me... even in a petite it comes down a bit too long and being that I am a pear shape... it makes me look fat which is what women dread... The material while fluffy and soft actually has little body... I had expected a bit more protection against cold. I am 5 ft 3 in there about and shrinking as I am old. My weight is around 140... so I am going to send back this much longed for jacket. Sigh!

This fleece is super comfortable, but I highly recommend sizing down. The sleeves are long, so I usually keep them rolled up.

While LL Bean's quality is always top-notch, never a question, sizing over the last few years is difficult. Purchased two of the same size Fleece Jackets, one platinum, one loden, again quality at the top but while both jackets are XL they both fit different. One fits as it should, the other smaller/tighter. Have had this problem before! Was explained to me by an employee when prior returning a different jacket with same issues "that sometimes same item is made at different warehouse so there could be a difference". That was disappointing to hear. I'm 61 and as a little girl trips were made to LL Bean in Freeport with dad, a 4 hour round trip, because of my dad's loyalty and now mine. Still make the trip even though they are closer now. While understanding profit is a priority shouldn't forget the LL Bean traditional quality!

I enjoy all of my LLBean merchandise. This jacket is perfect for Fall and early Spring. I love the color and the fabric. Fit is as stated. However, this is the second item that I have purchased that has your LLBean Logo tag sewn on the upper chest area of the jacket, in this case right over the pocket flap. The colors clash and I feel the location is intrusive. In the future maybe think about an outside seam on the body of the the clothing, or on a sleeve. I purchased a sweatshirt last winter and it has the same label in the same location. It is EXCELLENT other than this label so I had to rate it as GOOD in hopes you will make a change. Thank you

I expected this to be grey. It's dark green. A bit disappointing.

Thinner than I expected, and the balsam color was more gray than desired. It also was a closer fit than expected. Expectations were based on a thick pile vest from ll bean that I love so much. Item was returned.

For the price, I thought this hi-pile fleece jacket would have some type of lining. I'm very disappointed because it's so light weight, I wouldn't think of wearing it without a heavy sweater underneath. There's absolutely no lining in the one I received.

Soft but ... ... the sleeves are too short and, though cozy, it seems a bit too bulky. still assessing.

I bought the green color in an xs. I'm 5'4 and 115 lbs and this was way too big...have to return it.

I didn't understand the difference between Hi-Pile and Sherpa fleece. This jacket is just not what I expected, so I returned it. It felt very loose and floppy, but probably would be cozy, jut not what I wanted.

I really really wanted to like this. Might work for some but the fit was just off for me.

I'm not sure why several reviewers said this jacket ran large as I felt it definitely ran small. ( I wonder if the small fit had anything to do with the color--I ordered the Mallard Blue Heather/Marine Blue which is a beautiful color. Maybe ordering a size up would fix the problem. Also, when I tried it on, the hi-pile fleece was all over the shirt I had on. I am normally a women's size medium and recently ordered the LL Bean Women's Ultralight 850 Down Hooded Sweater in a medium which fit perfectly with a room to spare for an extra layer underneath. I wanted to love this jacket and really would like to try again if LL Bean could make it roomier and keep the fleece on the jacket and not everywhere else!
