I didn't like all the loose fleece and I would not like to wash it before giving it as a gift.

Sleeves are too short for us tall gals. LL Bean, please bring us a tall options for this! The material is lovely, it's the softest fleece I think LL bean makes, but it just doesn't offer the size options that are inclusive.

sent this right back. material is flimsy and poorly made.

It needs a lining of slippery fabric so sleeves can come and go easily.

The only reason I buy outdoor clothing from LLBean is because of the QUALITY. I bought this fleece for my teen daughter and as she was putting it on, the zipper fell apart rendering it unusable. If this is an example of things to come from LLBean, I am definitely going to consider ordering from one of the many other outdoor clothing retailers. Have noticed a definite decline in quality over the years.

This is my second one. The first pilled in high-wear areas, and the second one covered a load of laundry and my laundry room in fuzz, which it is now also covered in.

i bought this and Women's Luxe Fleece Jacket... i wear a szie 22/24 and buy 26/28 on tops when i want them to be baggy and big on me. the 3x here should be baggy and big for a 3x should be equivalent to a size 26/28... it is not. the shoulders are very tight and i could not even zip it up. I bought also the Women's Luxe Fleece Jacket... sizing completely different and I bought a 3x too. that one fit! Was big enough to wear a bulky sweater and enough room in the shoulders. i'm not sure who ll bean gets to product test their plus size clothing but they don't hire the right people. hire me... i'll test out the clothes and test them. ll bean really needs to work on their plus size sizing. i've tried other 3x sizing products and only this... Women's Luxe Fleece Jacket.... has fit right. the material was soft. quality seemed okay too

I have washed it twice, brushed it with lint brush, hung it up to dry, put in dryer on low with damp towel... I've tried everything and it just keeps shedding. Embarrassing. Bought one for my mother and one for myself (both in desert rose - beautiful color) but they both shed an insane amount. Very warm and comfortable but probably won't be after all the shedding. Very disappointed.

So comfy, but unfortunately the side seam had a large hole after one use. I ordered a replacement and it too had a large hole in the seam upon arrival. So disappointed in the poor quality of this item!

I liked it until I wore it. After I took it off , I was full (covered) with fleece. It was sticking really good to me. I didn't appreciate that at all.

I am glad I inspected it before I got too excited. Multiple flaws! LLBean let me down with this item! Please view photos for your reference. This one is going back and you guys better don't charge me for the return since it has multiple defects. So disappointed :(

I bought this same fleece last year and loved it. Bought a second one a couple weeks ago, but am amazingly disappointed with the quality of the same fleece one year later. Forgetting that the first one "shed" a bit during the first few times of wash and wear, I put it in the laundry with my regular dark clothes. It pilled and shed all over the place and the pilling was stuck to all my athletic clothes. I remembered that the other had shed, so I put it back in the washer and dryer with jeans and sweatshirts. It pilled and shed even worse, and the pilling was stuck to all the sweatshirts and also to one of the pairs of jeans. Even the lint trap was full of the shedding from it. Not sure what to do now, as I don't want it ruining anymore clothes. So sad about this, as I have never, ever had an issue with LL Bean clothes before. If you decide to purchase this, you should probably wash and dry it with jeans a few times before wearing.

I purchased this full zip sweater in Platinum/Raw Indigo. My office space is super cold and thi sweater is definitely warm and comfy.BUT after 4 washes it's still sheds like it's brand new. I will unfortunately be returning it as it's ruined multiple shirts and leaves a trail on EVERYTHING it comes in contact with.

This fleece is soft and warm as advertised. Unfortunately it is not Durable at all. After only two wears, it already ripped near the pocket. I am truly disappointed in the quality of this product.

I got this as Christmas gift in the blue. It is warm and cozy however it sheds non-stop. I have washed repeatedly and still sheds. This is the worst thing I have ever gotten from LLBean. I have the pull-over in purple and never had this problem. Unfortunately it was a gift from granddaughter and I can't use it

i wore it the next day and the fuzz kept shedding of jacket and washed it to try to fix it and it won't stop shedding

Not the llbean I know. Very cheap material and too thin. Does it hold good or flattering form.

When I got this jacket in the mail, I was so excited. I loved it. It was the softest fleece I'd ever felt. It kept me warm in freezing temperatures, and it fit my 1X body perfectly. (It's hard to find quality fleeces that fit comfortably.) But then I washed it. Sigh. I followed the instructions, but it was still like a fleece bomb had gone off in my washer and dryer. I had to throw away the socks I'd washed it with because there was no way I was ever going to get the lint off. I washed and dried it (according to the instructions) FIVE times, (with a completely full lint filter every single time) and it was still completely, totally unmanageable. I could let it touch my black pants, and it was dropping lint balls all over the floor just to carry it from the laundry room to the living room. I truly don't understand how anyone could wear this jacket post-washing. I'm so disappointed. I'm returning it for a refund, but I missed my one chance to buy an LL Bean jacket with the Black Friday 20% off, and I'd been waiting for weeks to take advantage of that sale. Bummer.

I wish L L Bean would go back to using natural fibers instead of something that will add more micro plastics to our oceans. More and more people are turning back to real "fleece" from a sheep (shearing does not harm the animal - in fact is important for their health and comfort).

Shedded terribly and even worse after washing. Left fleece bits everywhere. I returned item for a refund. LL Bean quality has deteriorated over the last several years and I rarely purchase from them. The few times I have, the quality (with a recent blanket too) is not what it used to be. They have lost a long time customer.

This is a gorgeous jacket, very,very soft and cuddly. I purchased the yellow color and fell in love with it as soon as I took it out of the package. However, when I tried it on, it was way too small!!! I am a size 14 and ordered an XL to make sure I could wear something light underneath. I tried it on with a t-shirt and I could barely get it zipped up. Unfortunately, this jacket does not come in any larger size (although I shouldn't need larger than an XL) so I had to return it. I gave it one star because I am really bummed since it is a great jacket but only if you are a small person!

I love soft fleece so was determined to love this, but my pants are covered with fluff just from trying it on. Love it but know it will wreck seatbelts and eventually be retired if I tried to keep - sadly have to return. Wish High pile could be soft withot shedding!!!
