I bought this for my wife. She loves it and says it's very warm and soft. She is very happy with it. Wishes the body was a smidge longer.

This is a very warm and fuzzy coat. However, I found that in my part of New England where we have cold and chilly wind, it allowed the wind to penetrate and made me feel chilly.

I do love these jackets and I bought quite a few. They are warm over other shirts and tops and I buy them in large to wear over heavier sweaters. One thing that I don't care for are the new heather colors. When these first came out, the colors were a nice rich tone and very soft. Now that the colors are heathered, they are not as soft and do not look as nice. PLEASE GO BACK TO A FEW, RICH COLORS!!!

I love this jacket. It is warm, super soft and comfortable. Upon its arrival I noticed a hole in the elbow where the fleece meets the elbow patch but I loved the jacket so much I just sewed it up and put it right back on. I've been wearing it indoors and under a heavy jacket when I'm out for walks. I sized up one or two because my size was sold it and I'm glad I did. It definitely is oversized but I can wear it with leggings and still feel modest and layer as I please under it. Overall a great jacket that I've worn everyday since it arrived. I deducted one star because of the hole but am overall very happy with this purchase.

Jacket is extremely warm but sheds like crazy. Fleece was all over our house! I ended up putting it in the wash on delicate and drying on low with tennis/wool balls. Jacket shed less after that.

I really, really wanted this furry jacket, so much that I thought I could overcome my dislike of the LL Bean logo on the front. Alas, I could not. The jacket is everything I wanted -- cute, warm and stylish -- but I simply cannot abide walking around with a company name attached to my clothes. Thank goodness I bought a sweater fleece jacket, which I love, before they started attaching this logo.

This jacket is very warm and extremely soft. I love the color (muted purple heather / alloy gray). I don't really like the elbow patches but I made an exception on this one. Also, the fit is rather boxy. It could be more shaped which would make it more flattering.

This material is very lightweight, cuddly and cozy, but also very warm. It's super soft, and not the kind of microfiber type fleece that feels abrasive to dry skin over time. However the inside of the pockets does have that horrible microfiber feeling that scratches on my skin - it makes me never want to use my pockets and I love keeping my hands in my pockets. For me, this is a MAJOR bummer. I wish the pockets were any other type of material. It's also a little more boxy/loose than I would prefer, as I have a slender frame, but if the zippered pockets were angled rather than vertical it would look much more flattering and give a more feminine appearance. I also would prefer a zip up jacket with a hood option. But please don't change the elbow patches - I love this style and the extra color detail they offer.

I like this jacket because it is so soft and fluffy. On a cold night I even wore the jacket to bed to keep warm.

I love the soft fabric. This jacket is warmer than the one I was wearing. I wanted something a little warmer, but not a heavy coat. My one complaint is that it is not lined. It is difficult to get on and off over something that is knit or flannel. A smooth lining would make this a perfect jacket. It might run a little big if you are wearing it over a single shirt, but I usually wear it over two shirts.

The jacket looked good and fit well, but I decided to purchase a slightly longer jacket for extra warmth.

This fleece is well-made, very soft, and warm. But I'm returning it because I hate the design of the collar. It cannot be folded down when unzipped. It is designed to always be a standup collar, even when you don't want it to be. Too bad - I really like it other than that, but I don't want a collar standing up behind neck the entire time I wear it.

Gorgeous gift from my sister. much prettier than in the picture on line. I usually order a Small in LLBean but this top was tight around the chest. It's a pull over with partial zip. I had a hard time getting my arm and head through it. I did not find it loose fitting but more form fitting. The sleeves were way over my wrist. I missed pockets too. I loved the colors so much and geometric design featuring dark orange, purple, fall colors- that I returned for an even exchange and hope the Medium isn't too boxy. The sleeves will even be longer. It's very warm and cozy. It's well made. I can wear petites and small sizes but was pretty disappointed that it's not a top to rake leaves in or to swing your arms as you take a brisk walk if you have a broader back. At least for me in size Small. Looking forward to the Medium. Customer service was very helpful and made it easy.

Wearing this jacket feels like being hugged by my clothing! it fits great and is appropriately warm, and I'm hoping it wears well. My only problem with it is that the inside is fleecy like the outside, so putting it on over any kind of fuzzy sweater or sweatshirt becomes a full-body workout! I might have preferred a silky lining, but then I wouldn't be getting the hugs.

I initially ordered a Medium Petite Petite and it was too large for me. I sent it back for a Small and it's a nice fit. The Pro's - the length comes down below my belt but above my hip. It's a nice length and feels like a compact jacket. The length of the sleeves are perfect. It's a really warm jacket and it looks nice on. My only complaint is that it looks furry. The fur is thick and not quite a 1/2 inch but it feels and looks that way, and I'm not really a fur kind of person.

The comfort is amazing, however it is very oversized throughout the arms and body. I wish It was a bit slimmer.

The jacket is pretty, soft, and very warm. It is currently my favorite jacket. The missing star is because, like all recent Bean outerwear products, the sleeves are meant for a chimpanzee.

Ok the coat is super soft and super cozy. I got the coral color and it's just as pictured. The only bad thing is that it sheds like crazy on everything. It doesn't bother me too much but I'm sure it could be super annoying.

This jacket is pretty, and also pretty useless, EXCEPT: It has wonderfully deep pockets, so I can keep my phone and keys with me at all times. They all fit in EACH pocket! Even the breast pocket can hold my entire keyring. So, i'm keeping the jacket. But take note: It is not at all warm, and wind goes right through it. I was out in the gusty, cold air today in upstate NY and I might as well have been naked. Still, i'll be using it a lot, because of the pocket-capacity! It is very soft, light and fluffy, as advertised.

beautiful, comfortable, soft, just as described. It started to fuzz after first wash, contacted company and they are sending another to replace. Very nice jacket

So soft and warm I wore it several days in a row after it arrived. I still wear it frequently because it's warm without layers. And I love the color. Though the sleeve length is good, the elbow patches come above my elbows and the shoulder seams are higher up than my shoulders. Because I loved the fabric so much, I ordered another one, but this time a Small. This one fit more like a jacket while the XS fit more like a shirt. The shoulder seams come at my shoulders. The elbow patches are still mostly above my elbows. If the purpose of these patches is to prevent wear at the elbows, they should be located lower on the sleeve. If they're intended to be stylish, I find them unattractive.
