At 5'5" and 115 lbs. the small fit with enough room for a sweater. I got the sailcloth/ledge combination and it goes with everything. Although the fleece on this jacket is thick, it lays nicely without being bulky on me. The zipper is smooth and easy to use.

Love it. It is thick, warm and soft. I get cold easily and this will provide extra warmth in the winter for me. I ordered the small in platinum and am very happy with my purchase. I would love a true pink color next season.

Loved this jacket the moment I saw it, ordered it and could not be happier w/it. Pockets are just the right size and zip, love the patches on elbows (keeps pile from matting). So soft and warm (can't wear it out yet-85 degrees in Okla. still). Also, it is perfect for me (I can't stand those hoods on my head or draping down my back). Size is as described, I ordered up because I wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath (if I need to) when it does get cold. Have received complements from daughter, granddaughters and other family I showed it to. Thanks LLB, this one is a home run.

I purchased 2 of these fleece jackets for my teenage grand daughters, 15 and 16. Both loved the softness of the lining and decided to keep even though it didn't have a hood. It would have been nice to have a better color selection but the girls were happy with canyon rose and platinum. Independently, they each said they couldn't wait till it was cold enough to wear. Definitely a winner!

I really like the whole "plush sweater" trend going on. My favorite part of this fleece is that is has lined pockets for extra warmth!

I think this fleece might be the most perfect jacket in existence. I've never worn anything so warm! I'm one of those "always cold" people and I don't know how this fleece does it because it doesn't SEEM super heavy, but it traps in heat so well. I live in Maine and I know this will be perfect for those super cold days...heck I'm even wearing it now and it's not even that cold yet... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I love everything about it - the color (I got the canyon rose), the logo, the weight, the length, the fact that I can layer...seriously I think I might live in this jacket.

I love the weight and the color. I ordered Dark Marine Blue in a medium. I wondered if I should order a small, but the medium gives me a little shoulder room, which is important to me. It's both warm and pretty. Good job LL Bean!

I'm 5' 120lbs and I almost always by everything in Petite because the sleeves are shorter. THIS SWEATER IS AMAZING. It is so freakin warm and so soft, I'm in love with it. I work in a grocery store and it's the Tundra and I'm so toasty. The pockets on the sides are deep so you don't have to worry about your phone flying out of it and they zipper close! The real bonus is the two inside pockets so if you're carrying a little wallet or something you can put it on the inside pocket for safe keeping. Job well done L.L. Bean!

I got the green and the color is very vibrant, the fit is perfect, and the material is very very soft. Extremely thoughtfully and well made, very warm and cozy!!

This jacket certainly lights up the internet page due to its unique fluffiness. When I tried on the first one I realized that it has the effect of adding pounds to your upper body due to the puffiness. It falls at waist and I wish it fell lower such as pass the hips. That aside, this jacket is so comfortable but I hope that it is resilient and the high pile does not flatten out over time. Oh if only I had a crystal ball! It is very warm and I bought a few as this will definitely will sell out fast.

I fell in love when I saw it. What a beautiful blue!!! It's so soft and comfortable with a feminine cut - not a men's boxy-fit jacket. Petite xs fits perfectly (5'2" 117#). It's still the heat of summer here so I can't comment on it's warmth but it seems to be a nice weight jacket. May need another color!!! Thanks LL Bean!!!

As soon as I put this jacket on, I knew it was a keeper! Most jackets have the high-pile fleece on the outside, but nylon on the inside and they are not warm at all. The high-pile fleece is on the inside as well and is so soft and warm! Perfect for a walk on a chilly autumn day or evening. I ordered the marine blue and the color is beautiful! I see that several colors are already backordered and I do plan to buy another jacket or maybe the pullover version. I highly recommend this jacket! It's a bit pricey, bit I think that it's more than worth the price.

Just as cute as it looks online. The quality is what you would expect at this price point and the construction is practical and sensible. I opted for the jacket version for the ease of layering and taking on/off. For reference, I am 5'8" 145 lbs and the L is comfortably roomy plus the sleeves are just right. I bought 4 colors early when I first saw them online before they ran out- 'nough said.

My Daughter spotted this jacket while we were visiting Freeport this week. Since she already had the sweater fleece, she didn't want to get another jacket but couldn't resist. She likes this jacket so much, she wore it out of the store since it had gotten chilly outside. She loves how soft and cozy it is and is so happy with her new jacket.

Just got this and it's amazingly soft! I got the blue color, which is just gorgeous. I also ordered the grey (on backorder) because I had such high hopes for this, and I'm glad I did. I like to wear a jacket because the air is so cold in my home office, so I have this on right now. Sizing is perfect for me, I have long arms and the sleeves are great. After the grey one gets here, I may have to get a third color.

This new high pile fleece jacket is super soft and snugly. The canyon rose color is really beautiful. I liked both the pullover and jacket styles when I tried them on in the store, but opted for the on-off convenience of the full-zip style. I might get another if a promo comes along. I don't want to rush summer but I am definitely looking forward to wearing this on a chilly fall day!

Fleece feels fuzzy and silky both inside and out. Thinner fleece rather than thick, but very cozy. I am 5'3", 135 pounds, medium fits great.

I like how soft it is and I like the color. But it runs wide. I am 5'4" and 135 lbs and while it is cozy, it also is bulkier than I'd like. For an average size woman as I am, the fit is big, like all of Bean's other jackets and tops which is a little frustrating.

The fleece is soft and nice to the touch. It's thicker to give more warmth. Nice to have three outer and two internal (open) pockets. I found my typical size (small) to be sized more like a medium. For reference I am 5' 4" and 110 lbs.

Really pretty color blue, soft and cozy. Gave it 4 stars because the patches on the arm are dated.

I purchased gingerbread heather and it looks like the pictures. For those of us who have shopped at LLBean for years, we know the sizing has been wildly inconsistent over the past decade or so. I've been a medium since high school, but in recent years, I've ordered many mediums that have been either both way too small or way too big. I ordered a medium in this and it fits well, although slightly on the larger side. I will keep it, because I think the small would be too snug, but I can easily fit another shirt under this one. The only negative is the large nylon elbow patches. They're unnecessary and detract somewhat from the overall look (and annoying because they make noise anytime they rub against something).

I bought one of these a few years ago and loved it! When I reordered recently I knew as soon as I opened the bag and took it out that the weight of the fleece is about 3/4 of the old one. Bean says they have not changed this jacket since it's introduction in 2018.?

I bought one of these a few years ago and the weight was far more substantial than this new one. I like the coat, but is lighter weight than the previous one. I hope this one is as warm, but I have my doubts. Not sure how it will be in really cold temps.
