too much lint...had to place in dryer on air dry a few times

This sweater runs small compared to other similar items I ordered from LLBean. It is also very heavy. I would be uncomfortable wearing this sweater indoors. It could substitute for a jacket.

Size of medium sweeter much smaller than normal medium size

Fit is good and what I feel is true to size. Very disappointed that a 100% cotton sweater would pill on the sleeves after only having been worn about 4 or 5 times.

I like these sweaters, but this one seems to have very snug arms. Guess I'll just wear short sleeves or sleeveless shirts under it. Got the large. I usually wear a size 12.

The fabric was nice but the cut was small. I loved the fact that this cardigan had pockets but I returned it because I knew that once I washed and dried it would shrink. I like my cardigan's to fit big.

Nice looking sweater but one of the pockets unraveled after the 1st washing so that was disappointing especially at this price.

This is a beautiful sweater but pills badly, especially in places that rub, like underarms. It would've gotten a 5 if not for this. It is warm, fits great, and looks good. For the price, one expects better quality. I've only had it a few weeks and wear it occasionally but it already looks like an old broken-in comfy sweater (if that's what you're looking for in a new sweater!).

Sizing too small. Designed for Asians not for northern Europeans

Sheds lint and fuzz balls like crazy. I like the sweater but it sheds like a German Shepherd in summer

warm and well made but heavier than what I was looking to buy.

Sleeves are a bit short for me. Weight of garment is nice. Good quality. Just simply on sleeve length.

The Sweater is warm and comfortable, BUT, it came with a hole in the Shoulder.

Expected better quality, after the 1st wash it already started to show fuzz all over it

I dont think the product is worth the price i paid. Basic item that could be purchased from any department sto.

I bought this sweater for myself last year. I absolutely loved the sweater; however, after two or three washes, the thread holding one the pockets is completely unraveling. I have probably only worn the sweater 8-10 times. I washed it 2 or 3 times in cold water and did not put it in the dryer. I'm very sad!! I really loved it, but now I can't wear it to work.

the clothing quality is not what i expected from Llbean, becuase i have like 3 hoddie frim them and they are good quality, aside from this item.

I wanted a chunky cardigan in a light, neutral color. But the oatmeal wasn't the ivory shade I was looking for -- it was too yellow. Plus, I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of the knit. It seemed a bit flimsy, not chunky at all. Inside, the seams of the pockets were clearly visible. I'd ordered a medium instead of my usual small because I was going for an oversized look, but it just looked awkwardly big on me. Returned it.

I loved the shape, weight and style of this sweater until I tried it on over one of my other turtlenecks. The yarn of the cardigan ended up piling all over the turtleneck underneath. I tried two colors and the same thing happened. Terrible. I can't clean whatever is being worn under this cardigan every time I wear it.

Pros: warm & comfortable, soft to the touch., fits well (got an x-large for more coverage), pockets are a nice feature. Has some weight to it. Cons: pills a lot and leaves them behind, takes FOREVER to dry on rack.

I found this cardigan to be very bulky, and heavier than I expected. I'm sorry to say that it has been returned.

I loved the sweater and it fit perfectly but after wearing it only three or four times the stitching on the sleeve has unraveled leaving a four or five inch hole. The sweater also sheds, so has to be worn with like colors. This is a first for me with an LL Bean garment.

Sweater was much bulkier than appears in photo, too heavy and long for me. The marled effect is very pronounced, making the outside texture very rough (bumpy). Was looking for more of a mid weight sweater with smoother material. Also the oatmeal color is much darker than expected, was expecting the color to be closer to a natural.

I loved this sweater. Perfect size and beautiful fabric. I had to return it due to color, which was much lighter than expected (and why only 3 stars). Would have exchanged for another color but it was sold out. So disappointed. LLBean does not make many items I can purchase - I need tunic length and tops are often just a little too skimpy. Would love to buy more.

I love the look, fit and feel of the sweater. But, it constantly sheds little (and not so little) bits of the yarn. So, for example, if you wear it to a friend's house, you will find little pieces of yarn everywhere you walked and sat.
