I ordered this sweater in a petite small to wear only around the house during chilly fall and winter days. It's a nice sweater with a nice stitch but not what I'm looking for. The 2 sides barely meet in the front and I prefer a sweater that I can wrap a little. Also, it's not a v-neck exactly but the neck area doesn't meet either - it's just the style. I prefer to be covered to up to my neck. I could order a size up but the sleeves would be way too long in a larger size. It's too expensive an item to not fit properly. I would probably keep it if I intended to wear it out or to the office but I'm working at home right now. It's a nice sweater overall but the fit isn't for me. Unfortunately I'm returning it.

I wanted something warm and comfy and that is what I got. I ordered medium petite and I think small might have fit, too. but it fits well. It will be my winter "comforter". Really well made. It has quite a heft to it. Easy to wash.

This is a very well-made sweater, but the fit was too snug for me. This was a surprise since medium is the size in other LL Bean tops that has worked for me in the past. Sadly, I had to return it.

This is my go to sweater for cooler months in Florida. It's kind of bulky, so goes with casual clothes like jeans or leggings. Not my choice for dressier occasions, but great for around the house walks with the dog or to the mailbox. It's V-neck isn't protective for windy days at the beach, but add a scarf and you're fine. Agoodbuy, especially at a sale price.

I love this sweater.Cotten makes it so much easier,and comfortable. I just slip it on in the chill morning or evening, it's great.

This cardigan fit perfectly and is very cozy. It has a nice heavy weight to it and the fabric is soft. I can't speak to the shedding that others mentioned since I haven't worn it yet. I'm really looking forward to wearing this when cook weather comes back around.

The fit, color, soft feel of the fabric, and comfort was exactly what I was looking for and expected. Yet to be determined, is how long the fabric will hold up when washed and whether it will become or rolled or peeled up in certain areas. My biggest issue with clothes purchased in the last few years is the poor quality of the fabrics, causing the clothes not to last beyond a season or two, no matter the purchase price. Just a clarification, I've bought clothes from many different places so it is not just certain brands. And I still have clothes purchased 10+ years ago that are practically like new.

I ordered a size XL Petite after looking at sizing chart although I usually wear a Med or Large depending. This fits the way I wanted. I think the spandex makes it fit smaller than a normal sweater. And I preferred the length of the Petite. Otherwise I LIKE the sweater.

I think the sweater has a lovely knit style, something different from the same ol' same ol', and the tiny flects of color are nice, but not all that prominent. It is warm, but not heavy and overly bulky. About the white flects mentioned by others, my sweater has them too - not quite sure why because most of them can be picked off, but a couple of washings later, and they are gone. I am short and petite, bust 34, hips 38, and judging by the reviews I read, I ordered an XSmall. It was too tight all over, and especially tight and short in the sleeves. I returned it for a Medium. The Medium was a perfect fit before washing (gentle cycle, cold water, and drying flat). The length hit me just below the hip which was perfect. But again, the sleeves shrunk, and were tight and too short. I pressed my sweater using a steam iron on low heat, and that solved the problem. Since one doesn't usually wear a sweater after every wearing, I like the sweater well enough to press the sleeves occasionally. But one should not have to do this at all, thus I generously rated the sweater a 4.

I love the fit of this sweater! However, I ordered the "natural" color thinking it was going to be more of grey tones but the colors are just navy and white, not what I was expecting.

At first, I thought it too large and heavy but realized I would not need a coat as it would be perfect when worn over a shirt or sweator. In Texas we do not get many really cold days, so this product will work well.

The sweater is nice fiting except for the sleeves are too long and when rolled at the wrists is bulky. Nice warmth and good quality

The gift was tried on to a person that usually takes 1X. It was small around the body and left a larger space than expected. A larger person would be smart to buy next size up and have a little more fabric around the stomach area. The sweater is not one that closes either, so more fabric in this area would be beneficial.

Loved the weight and fabric of this sweater. I ordered my standard LLBean size- medium petite. The shoulders and arm length were perfect, but the sweater came down to about 3 inches above my knee. Way too long for me...I returned, as I didn't think that I would wear it that much. Would recommend to someone that likes a much longer sweater.

I am enjoying this sweater but have reservations. I would have given it five stars but it sheds a lot! Consequently, you cannot wear black or any color other than a pastel with it. So, my dissatisfaction is not being able to wear it with most of my tops.

I ordered a large petite. Size was perfect. Soft, warm and comfy. HOWEVER, it sheds like crazy. Wore it with a black tee and pants and I was covered with fuzz when I got home. Still trying to decided if I keep it or not. as I like the style and warmth.

I live in the Dallas area and look better in cool jewel tones than warm earth tones. However, the oatmeal color looks great on me and I will be able to wear the sweater in Fall, Winter and Spring. The sweater is versatile - I can dress it up or down and it's great to wear around the house. However, the sweater is too warm for the Dallas summer and it's too heavy to be a good travel garment. Nevertheless, I am very happy with the sweater and can hardly wait to wear it this coming Fall.

The rose colored sweater is lovely and the cotton is very soft. It feels good and looks like spring and I will wear it all summer if it is cool. The softness of the cotton means that you get some pilling but it isn't too much.

I really like the cardigans, and this one is very comfortable and soft. What I wish it had is a little extra at the front - like the older style where they folded over. This is fine for spring/fall, but I think it's going to be not enough for winter since it doesn't come close to closing, even if pulled together. I think if I got another, I'd get a size larger, just for that.

The yarn and weave are very dense and warm. Great to have pockets in a sweater. Tight sleeves - not much play for layering. The quality is excellent and it appears it will last for years and years.

Love the color and weight of this sweater. One shoulder seam started to unravel after the first wearing, but was quickly repaired with a needle and thread...otherwise I would have given it five stars.

I love the sweater and would have given it five stars, but the I had to repair the corner of one pocket.

This is the second sweater in this style I ordered, so clearly I love the first one. It is warm and cozy but long enough to be a bit more stylish that the usual winter sweater. This particular one I returned because it had badly puckered seaming, but the first one was perfect and I have lived in it this winter.

Bought this in blue a few months ago and love it. Bought another in gray and it is a lighter weight, the fit is ok but not like the blue one. Also the fabric sheds terribly- washed 4 times prior to wearing and it still sheds onto whatever else I am wearing. I still like the gray one - 4 stars because of the difference in fabric.

I rec'd this sweater for Xmas. It was bought online. Tried to wash after 1st wearing and English washing instructions label had been cut out. Foreign language washing instructions tag was still attached. Huh??? After 1st wash on cold delicate, went to block sweater and found big hole in armpit. Took back to store. They credited it promptly and ordered me another one from online. Next sweater arrived, tags intact. After 2nd wearing, noticed pocket edging was not attached to body of sweater on one side. No evidence of stitching pulling loose. Looks like it was not stitched originally. Love the sweater but the quality control suggests you might have a hiccup somewhere in your production/supply chain.
