This is the first time I have bought a Bean jacket. I found this one and liked the color. The fit is perfect. I sometimes wear a medium, but went with a large due to layering. The past two days the temps have been about 20 degrees and I took a walk like I usually do and the jacket kept me very warm. Highly recommend.

I bought this down coat based on the reputation of the company! Received my coat in just 2 day's! Wow is it not only warm, but it looks great also! Very happy with my purchase.

I wore it snowmobiling and it kept me very warm. It fits and moves well. The parka is very comfortable.

I love my new jacket. I'm probably easy to please. It looks great on me and is nice and warm. I ordered a large extra long. I'm 6'1" and 205 lbs. It seems pretty small in the chest and shoulders for me. If I had ordered an xl I don't think it would look as well on me so it's a compromise. I would buy it again for sure.

Very lightweight but incredibly warm. I'm able to wear it but not feel restricted or weighted down.

The medium tall is a little snug on me with 2 layers on under it (I'm 6'2"/ 155 lbs), but otherwise it has been a great jacket, and very warm.

Jacket was tested out in below freezing weather and kept very warm with minimal layers underneath. If less than 20 degrees F you could layer more and would keep very warm below zero. Runs small so get next size up.

This was a gift for our son who stated: Jacket fits perfectly, even has room for a thin layer for added warmth. The special shape of the hood gives extra warmth and is very comfortable. I realize this jacket is rated as "warmer" but is perfect for our current Ohio weather which is ranging 30-Mid 40's. The quality is excellent as is the tradition for LL Bean!

Although not the warmest jacket in the store certainly good enough for upstate NY. Love the color, the fit (I got a Men's medium and I am 135 lb women so it runs small. It was $100.00 less than the next warmest and not seeing how it can be much warmer. Great jacket, great price for LL Bean .

Got this jacket for walking the dogs. While I have rated this item 5 stars, I do so with some reservations. First, I bought a size large, thinking I would have room for a bulky layer underneath, but that ain't happening. And B, the fleece lining, acts like Velcro with whatever shirt I am wearing and I have to fight my way in. All in all it keeps me warm and dry when walking my dogs.

Feels light but supplies plenty of warmth. The look is sleek and the color is cool. Highly recommended.

Seems very well made. Have not yet had a chance to try it out in cold weather. The neck is too large so I must wear a scarf to plug the gap.

Perfect weight for SoCal winter! Bought for teen child that always feels cold.

I like the light weight of this jacket. It feels and fits very nice. The reason I gave it 4-star rating is because of the color. It is more a blue color than a grey. Also, not to in love with the hood although it is functional.

I bought this winter jacket on sale .It is a really nice and warm winter jacket. The size was a 2x but it's a little on the small size across the chest area. Otherwise fits nicely. Nicely made .

I really like this jacket, from the form to the fit, to the warmth. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but every time I put it on, I have to either tuck the black part of the liner back up into the sleeve by the cuff. It's a little annoying to have to this every time that I wear it. I have 5 other coats that are made very similar, by various brands, that don't have this issue. If that won't bother you, then buy it, you'll like it.
