My husband loved how warm this was!! Loved it so much I bought him a second one!

The jacket is warm and comfortable: I really like the way the hood worksit's warm but does not flop down over my eyes.

This jacket could be one of the best I have ever owned. The size was perfect, sleeve length was right on the money, and the outer material has a nice matte finish to it, no shine. The fleece lining on the inside body and collar adds a warm touch to this jacket. I'm hoping this jacket last a long time and I think it will!

Light weight but very warm. Attractive design. The hood helps on very cold days.

Great jacket, too expensive. Lower your prices instead of putting a 50 million dollar facelift on your freeport store. People will appreciate that much more.

I love this coat. I like my stuff a little bigger, as I think the cuts at LL can run a little short. I bought the tall XXL and it fits me like a glove. My wife loves the black and gold contrast and I like being warm.

no drawstrings for the hood. My usual Bean size is medium. I thought I'd go with large for the coldest days with a mid-layer. Unfortunately the hood, without drawstrings, seemed too loose. I down-sized to my usual medium to get a snugger hood, which seems to be working, but I don't think I can wear a mid-layer now. Other reviewers point out that with the fleece down the sleeves it feels tighter when you're putting it on. I'm in Manhattan with average winter temps in the 30s. I wear an LL Bean River Driver (a heavy long-sleeve t-shirt) and this 650 fill-power hooded jacket and don't feel cold. It's my grab jacket. It's important to get the right size, not too big, so the hood fits snuggly because there are no drawstrings. I didn't subtract from the rating over the lack of drawstrings, because of the excellent quality of the jacket. Typical LL Bean.

Warm and functional with style. My husband loves his new jacket! It fits maybe a little smaller than normal size, he is typically a medium but the large fits perfectly. Excited to be stylish and warm this winter.

I purchased this coat because I work in hospitality outdoors and I need something warm for the winter weather so last week, I wore this coat for a few days as it was cold outside and kept me warm. And it was very comfortable. I will I recommend this.

Nice winter coat!! Worth the money. It's lightweight yet provides great warmth and protection from wind, rain and snow. Hood is a nice addition. Sizes seem to run slightly small - size up if you tend to run between sizes, particularly if you're going to wear a fleece or sweater under the coat.

It's exactly what I was looking for. I love it I'm able to put on a hoodie it's nice and roomy the only problem. The sleeves are a little too long but it's OK. I can't wait to wear it next month and I recommend this jacket to everybody and anybody great purchase thank you, LL Bean. I bought the dark marine blue. I Love This Color

Bought this for my daughter to walk back & forth to classes! It's light weight but keeps her warm! She loves it.
