Very warm and keeps me warm without need for a sweater or scarf. Nice fit, not bulky which makes it great for hiking!

This is a nice coat! It is very warm. Once on, you can't stay inside very long or you will start sweating! I only wear this coat when the high won't exceed about 10 F. If it's in the 20's, I get too warm, but then I bought this coat for those periods of the winter here in MN when we get stretches of below zero that can last weeks. This coat is perfect for that! I love it! I wear a 2XLT and this coat fits me perfectly.

My husband needed a warm coat that came in tall sizes (LT). I have a similar coat from LL Bean I purchased years ago that I love. This parka is very similar. He has worn it nearly everyday since it arrived. It looks great on him, the proportions are perfect for a taller guy and it is warm! Thanks for the quality parka!

I have a Airedale dog I walk each day and night in Pennsylvania. Since it's been getting so cold I was looking for the warmest coat I could find for the money. I went to your store at the Prominod to see what was available. Since my size was out of stock I order it on line. Temperature today was close to 10 and the coat kept me warm through the 30 minute walk. Great coat highly recommend by myself

My husband is absolutely thrilled with his new parka. The fit is spot on perfect, even with the sleeve length ( he is 6'1 200 lbs ) . He has commented that it is warmest coat he has ever owned and he really likes the 2-way zipper feature so he can get into his truck without it restricting him. He originally thought it had too many pockets but he has used most of them now lol . He also said the hood was extremely well thought out because he can pull it up but not have it obstruct his vision and it doesn't flop around like a bag around his face. Don't hesitate on this purchase. It's a bit of an expense but when your outside in blowing cold blizzard winds shoveling snow you'll be glad you did!

Purchased a woman's jacket a few years ago for myself Love it Easy to put on and always comfortable So this winter ordered for my husband. He has worn it everyday ever since it arrived via UPS

This parka is very warm and quite comfy. I purchased large-tall and still have a bit of room inside but its not overly baggy. 6'-2" ~200 lbs. I'm honestly not a fan of the outer chest pockets, there is an extra lip that makes access cumbersome. All other pockets are good size and well placed. The handwarmer pockets are behind the lower outside pockets, didn't find those right away and are a nice touch. Really like that the hood fur can come off separately, then the hood comes off as well.

Extremely comfortable to wear. From below zero to up to forty degrees, you don't feel overly warm or chilled. This one replaced my older LL Bean Parka. That one was purchased in 1981 (real Coyote Ruff and all) and was very dependable in colder weather. This one id even more comfortable, as it is also wet weather resistant, while the older one had a cloth shell. I also appreciate all of the pockets (inside and out). I use it in Chicago and the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Great parka. I bought this for a football game in January at Lambeau field in Green Bay Wisconsin. It was 13 with a 0 Wind chill. Kept me very warm and has a good amount of storage. A couple things people complained about appear to be resolved. Not sure if that is new additions or operator error initially. The hood is deep but can be sized via a Velcro strap. There's also a draw string around the hood. 2 small things I don't love. First, Someone else mentioned the hand pockets in front are positioned too low. I have to agree. I've got long arms but I have to pull the coast up a inch or two in order for my hands to fit comfortably inside. They are lined with a soft material which is nice. The other tiny gripe I have is lack of pockets on the inside. A few more zipper pockets on the inside would be great. One last thing and this may be silly but there are 2 small stash pockets chest level that are built into the zipper coat openings. Perfect for cell phones or wallets. I would definitely buy this again and highly recommend it.

It has not been above freezing in at least a month. Many days far below zero. This parka is keeping me warm. It's the best I've owned in 35 years of Watertown, NY winters.

I wanted something that would feel warm even with just a t-shirt under it and this coat has done just that. It runs big. I'm usually a Large, sometimes a Medium at LL Bean. But I ended up getting a small and it feels great with a button-up shirt and sweater under it. It will shed some down but nothing excessive. I do wish the side pockets had zippers and were at more of an angle to be more comfortable/natural feeling when you stand with your hands in the pockets. Otherwise I don't have any major complaints. This thing has been a beast in the single digit and negative temps we've had this January!

Very tough coat and a must have for serious outdoor adventures in extreme cold weather Took winter camping hiked 5 miles up a mountain the day I broke camp and headed down it was -16 below zero with a strong wind the jacket kept me warm and dry this is a true winter coat I absolutely Love it

The coat was well constructed and would likely maintain warmth in cold weather. The coat was too heavy for me to wear comfortably.

Mens Baxter State Para is a great parka I have been using it during a polar air mass and it keeps me warm and toasty. Normally when it gets this cold I break out my heated gear that I use on my motorcycle. Great Parka LL Bean

I have had this parka since 2019, bought especially for a trip to Quebec City in January 2020. This parka was a life saver on that trip where we experienced sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts of 50 mph. Combined with temperatures in the teens, this parka really proved how capable it is. I have used it every winter since then and it has yet to disappoint.

This coat is like putting on a furnace when its cold outside. Putting up the hood keeps my head warm

This jacket is incredibly warm. I wore ice fishing on Moosehead Lake when the temperature was -12F and with the windchill down to -35 and this coat kept me plenty warm enough with a t-shirt and long sleeve shirt underneath. Definitely happy with this coat!

Purchased the Men's Baxter State Parka for my husband. It fits great and keeps him warm!

Absolutely the best coat I have ever owned. I think the zipper could be a little more heavy duty. I have stood at a bus stop in -20 degree weather without getting cold.

Great coat. Very warm! However, the fabric is stiff. But, I'd buy it again.
