I loved the last two versions of the Sawtooth (I and II), but the X has a smaller toe box. It's not narrower, but it is more cramped top to bottom. I ordered a second pair, and it fit the same way. Unfortunately, I had to return both. I'm hoping they fix this so I can buy them in the future.

i bought these in nov of 24 . These shoes are stiff and very narrow in the toe. I wore them in the winter and put them away for the summer. this fall i started wearing again, and after wearing for a day my feet ached!. Luckily it was less then a year so i returned them, and purchased a pair of Keen Targhee waterproof hiking shoes (item zz523358) and am glade i did. Plenty of room and good looking too. they were more money, but you get what you pay for.

One of the worst boots I have ever bought. Switched from Keens just to try something new and big mistake. First time I wore them I had blisters all over my right heel. Almost needed to leave work to change into my old Keens. Going back to Keens, boots I have never had a problem with.

the title says it all but I believe I would have had to order two widths wider and who knows about length. I couldn't even get my TOES!!! in it.

I don’t know what has happened to Obo.
Seven years ago I reviewed them as the best things I’d ever put on my feet. They were wonderful and that continued for a few years.
About three years ago I got a pair that felt I’ll-fitting in several places, but were still satisfactory if not great. A few days ago I received this pair. They felt a bit stiff but I still decided to take them on vacation.
Big mistake. They are torture devices that are killing the bottom of my feet. I hate them. I’m glad I bought a backup pair of shoes from another brand.
Obo used to make the best boots of this sort. Now they certainly don’t. I definitely do not recommend these.

Oboz has ruined a great product. I have been buying the Sawtooth for years since Oboz first started making them. No more. They have taken the best trail shoe on the market and reduced the support and ruined the heel/sole that made these shoes so comfortable. Had to return them.
