These are beautifully crafted shoes made with the finest materials. Unfortunately they are narrow. I normally wear an 11 EE. The 11 Wide wasn't even close to fitting. A disappointment.

My husband loves these shoes -- this is the second time he's bought them.

Oboz are comfortable from the first moment I sld my foot into the shoe.

Nice shoe, but just to be aware they run a bit narrow.

I bought a pair of Sawtooth Ventilated Low Hikers 18 months ago, Size 9.5 D, fit fantastic, very comfortable. Best shoes ever, the basis of my upcoming book "Europe on One Pair of Shoes". I recently ordered a pair of Sawtooth X B Dry Waterproof Low Hikers and the fit is completely different. Very narrow, I doubt many guys will fit in the D's. My wife actually thought I mistakenly ordered Womens' shoes. I did not but they may fit women better.

Sturdy shoes with good support.

So far so good. It was a bit stiff at first, but as I wore it a few times the shoes became more comfortable. Great shoe for the money.

I purchased these hikers less than a week ago. The hikers themselves are excellent. However, I was told they would not stretch out. My normal size is 9.5 medium. The Columbus store only had a 9.5 wide so I tried them on. I shared with the sales associate my concern regarding fit. He told me they would not stretch out. After 2 wooded trail hikes the shoes did in fact stretch out and now are too wide for my feet to offer the kind of support I need in my hikers. I am very disappointed and feel I have wasted my money based on the direction I was given. I would not have purchased a the wide and simply ordered a pair of 9.5 mediums if the associate would have told me to expect the show to stretch out. However, I do not believe the sales associate intentionally mis-lead me jusst to make a purchase. I don't think he really knew or was hopeful they would not stretch out.

Great make of footwear, have purchased many times over the years

Ordered men's shoes by mistake. Don't know how they are.

So far, lots to like w/ these shoes. I've had literally no break-in period. I'm a 10-1/2 2W and these feel great. Happened to be at the Bean store yesterday in Sarasota with them on and sold a pair to another gentleman.

Very comfortable fit after two or three days of very minimal stiffness. These shoes also feel very durable and heavy duty.

Based on prior reviews, I ordered a half size larger and they fit perfectly also are very comfortable!!

I rarely order shoes online. It usually ends up to be a frustrating process of finding the right fit because each manufacturer sizes and cuts their footwear differently. I have several pair of shoes which range from size 10 wide, 10.5 wide up to size 11 depending on the manufacturer. Thus my reasoning for being leery of shopping for shoes on line. Given L.L. Bean's generous return policy I decided to take a chance on theses shoes. Surprisingly, I found these Oboz shoes to be comfortable from the start and did not require any break in period. They fit well and were truly 'out of the box' comfortable which is extremely rare for me to experience. Additionally, they provided great support for my feet without being overly stiff. Great pair of shoes and I would greatly recommend them.

Very comfortable. I wear for hiking in trails or walking around town.

I already have a pair of Oboz hiking shoes, which fit me well and which I love. I ordered the Oboz sawtooth b-dry hikers because I also wanted a pair of waterproof hikers. The medium width were too narrow, I suppose due to the waterproof lining. L.L.Bean promptly exchanged them for the wide hikers, and now they're my 2nd favorite hikers (1st for wet weather). Thank you Oboz and L.L.Bean!

Comfortable for Seattle rainy day not heavy to use

for years i bought an other brand that didn't hurt my feet but they changed something now they do hurt. came across these that don't hurt my feet, some what of a firm sole with good support.

The Oboze are comfortable, sturdy and light. I would recommend them.

So far I have only worn these around town for about a week and they have been as great as their predecessors.

I have been buying Oboz hikers for a number of years.. I am enjoying this purchase, I get solid grip for the sole tread .. The hikers are comfortable but this time I needed to get a 1/2 size longer (10.5 to 11) and I needed to go extra wide... A few months back I needed to do the same with the high top Oboz ... I do wear a hiking sock but it is not especially thick.. Happy walking !

Bought these for my husband, finally something he loves!

This is my first pair of Oboz. I needed to buy a wider width that normal and nearly need a half size larger because of the shape of the toe area. I walk/hike normally 6 days a week and have nearly "broken-in the shoes ". The shoe is now comfortable and molding to my foot. It is a tight fitting shoe which leads to a comfortable fit the more I walk. I have been a Keen brand buyer in the past because of the wider toe, but I am pleased with the Oboz at this point. Next, I will see how well the heel wears after a couple more months of walking.
