So far, I love walking in NYC (where I live) in my Men's Sawtooth X Low Waterproof hiking shoes. Feels like I could walk forever in them.

The tops of my feet get sore from a material fold between the tongue and the side of the shoe. What can I do about this?

I had high hopes for these shoes but after just a few weeks of wearing the left shoe has started coming apart from the sole. I can see the right one isnt far behind.

Nothing works for my feet but Oboz Sawtooth!!! I can work on my feet, workout and garden. I would love, love some colors. All these dirt and stone colors are blah.. I've seen great colors in oher Oboz, but not the Sawtooth.

I've had a pair of these for about 6 months. Bought them to replace another pair that lasted a couple of years. I'm in western Colorado and walk a lot, sometimes in very challenging conditions. I also wear these shoes almost every day. After 6 months this pair is breaking out at the inside seams of the toe caps. What has happened to Oboz quality?

I have had sensitive feet for my whole life so finding shoes that I really like, is rare or costs a lot. I bought a pair of Oboz Sawtooth X B-DRY Hiking Shoes on a great sale because I have liked the look of these for awhile and I was tired of all the trail running shoes that seems to be the rage now. I wanted something sturdy and very water-resistant for a change. Since buying them I have been on many long, foot tiring walks and have yet to feel tired in them. They fit narrow as I like and are great for taking the impact of a foot fall. You have my attention Oboz!

Sawtooth X Low is a really comfortable shoe for all around use. These fit me perfectly and feel rock solid. So why the 4 star rating instead of a 5? These have a very soft sole/mid-sole combination. Super comfortable right out of the box and works great for general use. However, I prefer a stiffer sole if I'm out on the trail; something that does a better job of isolating the rocks and roots, etc.. Totally a personal preference. I also own an old pair of Oboz Bridgers that I prefer for trail hiking - but I had to put in a softer footbed in those, otherwise they were "pounders" on my feet. I'll leave it up to you to decide which "feel" suits you best.

Wore these boots on a 6 mile hike right out of the box and they were perfect! Had amazing support, good room for my feet in the toebox and most importantly were very comfortable. Love this style!

I bought these as a spare pair after hearing that these shoes would soon be discontinued. I have narrow feet and these are the best fitting trail shoes I have ever worn.

Its comfortable and waterproof. But its not durable. Stitches that hold the toe cap are coming off. Used it for less than 100 miles and outsole has lot of wear. I don't think it will last 150 miles . This is not a good shoe for rugged terrain.

I tried both the regular and the wide version of the Sawtooth X. Both of the new (evolved) product are smaller and tighter fitting from the midsection of the shoe and forward. Because of the design change, the laces self-tighten as you walk and eventually almost form a tightening fold on the forefront of the upper. This makes the shoe more uncomfortable as you walk in them. The only (temporary) resolution I've found to the pain is to loosen the laces every couple of miles. Oboz made a fantastic choice of materials and it's a strong build but the forward footbed and leather upper dimensions in that area are way off.

So much more comfortable than I expected. Wide feet and no issue with the wide width. First hike out was over 7 miles and feet felt great. Great grip. Highly recommend.

I had a pair for years...loved em. No hesitation with buying another pair. The changes in design indicate a lowering of quality, protection and stability, to me. I'm wearing my old ones, for a while...and I won't be purchasing Oboz again.

Theyre ok. Good quality. Still breaking them in. But so far, Im not as much in love with them as I was/am with my old pair of Tamaracks. They were exceptional. Ive lived in them. The Sawtooths are pretty darn nice but not loved as much yet.
