I bought my first everyday backpack 4 years and the zipper broke a few months ago on it. It's my favorite backpack and camera bag and I literally use it everyday. Peak Design honored the lifetime warranty on it after the zipper broke and sent a new one within days. Love it.

Bought this to upgrade my V1 EDB. The little issues I had with my V1 are solved - easier to grab side handle, magnetic straps for when you thread it through your suitcase handle.

I have a lot of Peak Design products but it all started with the everyday backpack. I searched for years for a backpack that was durable and had build in organisation. It's all in the Everyday backpack. Its thoughtfully designed and also allows you to customise it to your needs. I often get people asking me about my bag as it stands out but is at the same time very professional looking. The build quality is superb and the lifetime warranty really is amazing.

I purchased my v1 EDB back when PD was running their Kickstarter campaign back in 2015, and due to a manufacturing issue with the original Ash fabric which surfaced in 2023, PD, true to their lifetime warranty, sent me a replacement Totally stoked that they sent me a v2 20L EDB, and I have to say that this new version has refinements that make it a true everyday backpack for me First off, the top flap now sits more like a box-top, giving the bag a more boxy shape (which I love) as opposed to the older flap design that sloped downwards (which I felt ruined the aesthetic of the bag). The v2 also looks smaller than the v1, and has a more compact silhouette. The elasticized key strap is simple but such a welcome improvement, and I can say the same for the inclusion of the magnets to keep the straps in place - genius The 20L v2 fits my 2016 Dell XPS 15 laptop just right, but I wouldn't stuff in an iPad as it would start getting a bit tight, making the top pocket a little hard to get to. The little pocket on the inside of the front panel is brilliant for keeping my Airpods Pro and a Lightning cable handy. The 20L is also the perfect size - I also own a 30L v1 and it's so easy to load up too much gear into the bag, which honestly, isn't very comfortable to use when fully loaded. I have a Leica M digital body with attached lens, plus 2 lenses (in neoprene pouches) tossed in, along with my iPad mini 6, power bank, Nitecore M10 battery charger (which I use to charge 2 M10 batteries via USB with my power bank), my Steam Deck (sits vertically and reachable from side access), some snacks and a light jacket, and it's comes up to something I can haul around all day. All in all, the 20L is great as a day bag, and I highly recommend it. PD bags are really hard-wearing (my v1 still shows no signs of wear) and they are great with their lifetime warranty, so buy with confidence!

I've had this for a couple of years now. Previously I used a 45L shoulder bag (which was overstuffed) that had no padding. I bought the 30L Everyday Backpack and spent time learning how to pare back on what I carry. That paid off and I've traveled to various places in the States, Cozumel and the Bahamas with this bag; carried a D850 with a 24-120 lens, a 20mm lens, an iPad, Mac. and a couple days of clothes and the usual personal care items. Oh, and a pair of Chacos. Love this pack! Easy to stick in the overhead, comfortable to carry. Even got a complement on it in the club between flights.

I love my backpack. But it's too easy to open for a thief behind you in the subway or train or any crowded place. Fortunately my passport was inside inner pocket and the thief could not get to it.

She needed a slim version of her old bag. she just needed a laptop sleeve and some storage space. I saw this bag and thought of her immediately! She was pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much Peak Design for a great bag!

Two of my adult children own Everyday Backpacks and use them to carry their professional camera gearI've admired those bags every time they showed up at the house. So sleek! So sturdy! So many possibilities to configure just the way you want! My loyal backpack of many (many) years bit the dust and I immediately went to Peak Design for a replacement. I opted for the 20L version and a matching tech pouch. It is perfect. Mary Poppins magic carpet bag perfect. I carry it to work every day, hauling laptop, files, personal belongings; and using one of the flex fold dividers for storing my lunch at the top of the bag. My bag has already been on an airplane, a roadtrip and an overnight stay with the Grandbabies. The magnet stays in the straps are genius - no tangled webbing and everything stays tucked in and tidy even when tossed around by the TSA. I love this bag so much and look forward to hundreds of adventures with it.

The sheer amount of pockets and hidden storage in the bag pack is almost as impressive as the design itself. The interior shelving is a game changer! I just wish it had a dedicated slot for pens/pencils.

I bought the Everyday Backpack 2 weeks ago and it is now my daily backpack. I absolutely love the fabric and the way it feels on me. I got the 30L as I am very tall (6'5") and I find the pack comfortable. The magnetic closure on the main part of the bag is genius. So easy to use with one hand and very secure. I carry 2 laptops, one for work and one personal. The laptop sleeves are a tad tight but understandable because they are designed for 1 laptop and 1 tablet. But I feel comfortable with both in the bag and have not had any problems to date. The side pockets are deep and I was able to store my Peak Design travel tripod with no problems on a trip. Went thru security and stored overhead on my flight with no issues. I really love the look and construction of the pack. It looks great and is of high quality material. One big plus is how it holds it shape. My old backpack would fold over itself and would never stay upright when I put it down, it would always fall over. Overall I really love this backpack and if I had to give one critique it would be great if there was a quick access area on top of the bag. There is one where the laptop is stored, but since I have 2 laptops the fit is tight and makes access less than desirable. But I am nitpicking a tad here as I'm using the bag for something other than it's intended use. I have not taken a trip yet with my cameras yet, but will do so next week. I'll come back and review that effort separately.

Just switched to this bag after experimenting with a few others and should've done so a long time ago. Super well organized and the compartments are a great add during busy moments where you can just pull what you need from the side zipper. Highly recommended.

Bought this bag two weeks ago on a trip in USA and been using it since. It looks like they have thought of all the common every day scenarios of a tech/photography person. The back is really handy and you can access the stuff you want very quickly. It takes some time modifying the internal separators to your needs but once you get used to it it is a breeze. A bit pricey but it gets the job done. Would totally recommend the bag.

I wanted a quality backpack. It was time to upgrade my backpack, and I chose the 15L that I can take to work and also use as a "personal item" while traveling. I actually purchased the 45L for my husband last year as an anniversary present and he loved it! He uses his for work and as a "carry on" for travel. After seeing how many features his backpack came with, I was sold on what I wanted. Even though the price is a little high, the lifetime warranty makes it worth it. I love the dual zippers that opens the backpack all the way! The only downside is the color. The bone is beautiful but I'm afraid it will stain easily. I didn't like it in the black of grey, and I really wanted to buy it in sage but that was not an option :( Overall, I love this backpack!

I've had my eye on this backpack to use for my photography equipment for quite awhile and I love it. It fits my camera gear nicely and I've reconfigured it a few times for different photographing events. Your back can get a little hot if you're walking around with it on a hot day, but that's easily survivable with how awesome the rest of the bag is. I love the straps where you can add extra items to the outside of it. The side zippers are a lifesavers for getting at your equipment easily.

After a lot of research for my backpack for work, i landed on this one. Very happy, it has lots of smart details and possibilites. Its small enough that it is nice to bring everywhere but expands so that i can always bring what i need.

I bought this two months ago for photoshoots, and i ended up using it for my light hike across Europe! Only slight downer was that one of the magnetic buttons on the backpack that keeps the straps next to the backpack came loose, but maybe with some stitching I can get it back in place.

The backpack is solid, and so very well thought out! The side access to my camera and other items is very handy, and all of the little touches around storage and straps and adjustment are clearly focused on the end user experience. Everything is easily accessed, and also secure. If I had one suggestion it would be to sell the waist belt with the backpack - I found that with the weight of camera gear, MacBook Pro and iPad all loaded up I really needed it, and could not get it until after my trip.

Every single inch of this backpack has been thoughtfully crafted and designed with the user in mind. Multiple access points, convenient pockets, and magnet system are some of the main components and reasons why I will never use another backpack every again. Worth every penny and then some
