I had doubts buying this bag. I own it for a few months now and am happy I do. I commute to my study on a motorcycle Monday to Friday. More than half an hour on the freeway. I had doubts about the bag being waterproof but it totally works fine riding through heavy rain. Even though I'm not a photographer, this is a very handy bag! I do advise to also buy the hip belt.

I saw this backpack once in-person and my obsession finally paid off a year later when I actually purchased one for myself. There's no words to really describe this bag. It's truly just in a league above any backpack I've ever seen.

I have used by Everyday Backpack for tech, camera, and EDC use for the last 2 years and I have not had a issue with it at all. It comes with me when I travel. The fact that it works with all of my other luggage helps more that words can express. At any given time I have 2 cameras (A7C and Pocket3) as well as. 14 inch macbook pro, ipad air 5, headphones, and other notesbooks, cards, and equipment. Holds it all without fail.

I was not aware how just having a side access changed the way I take photos. Sometimes I am unsure of opening my bag in London to take my camera out. Bit more confident now.

I love the design of the Everyday Backpack. It's lean and clean and does not look oversized on women while still fitting a 16-inch Macbook Pro.
The quality is exactly as you expect it to be for a Peak Design product, and I've been using it for 5 years now and never had any issues.

So there are two sizes, I watched the video and was like I know what size I want...wrong! The 30L arrived and I was like that's the size of my torso and some. The return process was amazing and soon enough I had the 20l in my possession!
So after my little misstep the 20 lire is amazing.
So I purchased to have a camera bag/backpack. I have a sling over the shoulder but it I'm walking around a little just taking amateur photos it's gets heavy but I will still keep my side slingbag for the purpose but if I plan on walking a little or going overseas I wanted something a bit more travel friendly.
I didn't want a bag that screamed camera bag, mainly for personal safety and totally want to underplay what's in there.
This bag achieves that. (The camera gear I have is a mirrorless camera plus a couple of prime lenses and a tele, sometimes the tripod comes, sometimes the flash and little bits like that - not a professional so sometimes instruction cards too).
While wanting a bag to carry my camera gear I wanted a bag to serve me in other was especially at this price point.
So it's currently doubling as a work bag. It fits the work 13" laptop no stress. It also fits my surface book 15" but with that hinge it's a touch tighter. I don't think I would try both laptops in the rear pocket together it feels too tight but you could easily place one into the main pocket if you were a person who needs two.
Because I like to travel lighter on the weekends plus I'm lazy I will often have a work bag large enough to fit my more weekend cross body bag so I have all the junk if my personal life in my work bag without any efforts. So my cross body fits in this awesome and the side access works really well.
I would suggest if you have a preference to swing and side access a particular way then the opposite side use the little lock tabs and lock the other side to slow down your ability to open everything onto the ground because you just threw things in the bag back rather than actually pack them.
I should stop rambling through this because there are other things too, the everything screams quality! I was not expecting the material to be as stiff and firm and structured. It is really structured so I feel like I need to wear the bag in. I don't have any problems with that but if you had hoped to maybe stuff this bag into a suitcase or something weird like that you won't be able to.
I love this bag and I'm so glad I purchased!

I got this backpack from official website half a month ago. This is my fourth PD product. I like the convenience that PD brings to me. This year I will take my camera and PD series of products to take a lot of beautiful photos.

I've been using this bag for my gig needs, I'm a drummer and Percussionist but it can also work for Singers, guitar players or anybody who brings a backpack to every show. I usually bring my water bottle, Pandeiro, shakers, gito, percussion toys and other essentials. Also check out their other gear. Good quality + Life Warranty. I made a Review Video on my YouTube Channel.

I have a closet full of bags and packs because I haven't been able to find the one that hits the sweet spot until now. I was ready to buy yet another pack and I was looking at Patagonia, Ofsprey, and other well reviewed packs. I literally stumbled into a Peak Design shop and found that thing I was ready to invest in. I like the hardware and the vehicle seatbelt like webbing at all the straps. When adjusting or letting off slack so I can swing the bag to my front to access to side access, it's smooth and I no longer have the cringy scraping sensation of pulling course webbing through plastic buckles. I love that I can attach and cinch the chest harness strap with one hand. The size (30L) is perfect. You don't actually have 30L unless you have the top flap at its highest setting (the top flap buckle is awesome ) which actually makes the size and appearance perfect for me. I really want as much volume as possible without it looking too big. I like the numerous loops to add more carry straps or even TSA locks as needed without it looking like a tactical back. The back both looks good in a professional setting and just sporty enough for the out and about. I don't buy pricey things unless they are quality. I have had trouble finding something worth paying for until now.

Bought the V1 years ago, and was given the V2 as a warranty replacement. Even more pleased with the V2, and now my wife wants one. High quality materials, thoughtful design of features. I get asked about it everywhere.

I originally ordered the 20L but after my employer upgraded me to a 15.6 inch laptop, I needed the 30L version which is plenty big to fit the laptop and all the gear (photography and everyday carry) I need. Do note that the best the bag can do is a 15.6-inch laptop and a 13-inch tablet. The laptop compartment is pretty tight and snug so this may not suit your needs if you need to haul around more than one laptop. Otherwise, this bag is definitely recommended!

I bought the 20L version for travel for both photo and business. Guess I should have bought two? It is perfect for the laptop, tablet, headphones and all the charging cables we need to carry today on trips. The various pockets, the magnet snap-close, the interchangeable dividers all work so well. Great design.

The backpack is very good quality with lots of very useful features. I have rarely seen such a high-quality and well thought-out backpack or camera backpack.

I've had this backpack a few years now, and it's fantastic. The flex fold dividers let me arrange the space depending on what I'm carrying, it's held up to everything I've put it through (photographing weddings, hiking in the rain, cycling, commuting, and more!). I hadn't expected it to become my everyday bag, but it's so good that I come back to it every time I put it down. I recommend this to everyone.

I had a v1 backpack that got some damage on a side zipper, was sad as could not use it.
Had this set aside for a long time and then decided to get in touch with Peak Design to get is fixed, they were super helpful and committed on their lifetime warranty. Happy to be able to wear this backpack model again :)

If it looks good and is reliable, I'll buy it twice/thrice/ten times. Here's hoping they keep continuing and innovating their products!

I bought my Everyday Backpack 30L almost 3 years ago to carry my gear on my back while I traveled across the country doing onsite photoshoots of senior living properties. After 3 years of travel I can honestly say that I've never had a backpack that stood up to the rigors of travel as well as my Every Day backpack. I love that I can safely carry my full size DSLR and lenses needed for my shoot, or my drone and batteries all in one bag along with my 16in. laptop and iPad with all the cords and cables safely stored in the top zipper pouch. I love the individual pockets that are designed to safely carry/store the batteries I need for a days photoshoot as well as the pockets designed to carry other accessories needed (memory cards, business cards, etc...).
When going through airport security, it's easy to access my gear to pull it out when before it goes through the security scanners.
I also love the top pouch that I can quickly access things that I have placed on top for easy access.
I have come to rely on this backpack for all my travels and feel naked without it.
Thanks Peak Design for your excellent customer service when I broke the top zipper by stuffing my (too big) jacket in the top of the bag. I now have your next version of the Every Day backpack and can't wait to get on the road again.

I own the 30 liters version and I'm able to pub everything I need inside when I go out. I can change the configuration whether I take me 100-500 or smaller lenses. The design is great, the look is terrific. I'm fond of my baG.

I work in an office but like to carry my camera wherever I go. I have the 30L bag and the ability to compartmentalize my camera gear from office necessities is perfect for me. My 16" laptop fits with room to spare. It is not as convenient to carry books, but most of my books are hardcover or loose papers are in folders/binders. All of the little storage areas are great for my hard drive, chargers, power strip, microphone, cables, etc. I fit a lot in this bag and I still have lots of room to spare. I'm incredibly happy with this purchase and anticipate it lasting a long time.

I love anything that does more than one thing. This backpack has tons of pockets (as any backpack should) but it also has a ton of extra features unique to this pack and backpacks in general. And the quality is exceptional. All the materials feel great and like a lot of care went into the bag. I won't list all the cool stuff because their product listing does that already but trust that it's worth every penny
