This backpack is hands down most comfy and best designed pack I've had. Only request would be making the bottle holders on the side 1" bigger, I had to get a new h20 bottle to fit (worth it though)

I bought this recently to use as a work bag. It is a sturdy and structured bag so it doesnt lose its shape when carrying my everyday items. I travel a lot and this is my personal item, my essentials fit perfectly in the bag and the divisions ensure that its all in its designated space, but also sometimes i have extra things to carry like a coat and it has enough space inside for it or I can store it outside the bag with the straps.

Love the construction quality and features. The backpack beats many models from other brands I've tried.

Best backpack I've ever had. Always referred to as 'The Office', as it has been with me around Europe on a 5 month campervan-trip, and now living it's everyday life in the triangle between Denmark, Canada and Sicily.

I have had my PD Everyday Backpack for several years now and it is an incredibly practical bag. I am travelling and I am not sure of the exact capacity of the backpack but it is one size smaller that the largest size. But I will start with my one criticism and that is an aspect of the harness. I am 5ft 11in tall and the harness is simply too small for someone of my size as the breast strap is almost across my throat whereas it should be across my chest. without the chest strap it occasionally slips from a shoulder. I believe the top section of the strap with the slots for the chest strap should be at least 2in longer. But now for what I love. Its flexibility. 1. I purchased it as a camera bag but found I also use it for travel as my carry-on. The harness straps tuck away into the back very easily and with three comfortable strong handles it is so easily carried. 2. When I travel I divide it into three compartments: The Bottom for my medication in a small zipped bag, The Middle compartment takes my two cameras (A Fuji XT5 with 16-80mm lens and a Fuji X100VI) and, The Upper compartment, an easily lifted out bag of essentials for flight (headphones, toiletries bag, small shaver etc, plus an iPad and another made up box of medications. It is very easy when reaching my seat to lift out the bag, drop it on the seat and stow the backpack in the overhead locker before the people with their massive illegal sized bags fill the locker!! 3. The two interior zipped side pockets contain spare batteries, power bank, lens brush, charging cables, lens and body caps, spare SD cards etc etc. 4. The external pockets contain a water bottle and small hand held luggage weighing scale. 5. The rear pocket contains a 14" MacBook Pro and a (small - LOL) bag of foreign currency notes. With all of the above I manage to keep the weight to a tiny bit over 7KG The bag is a quality product with the only exception that my lock on the rear is corroding. The zippers are amazingly strong and weather tight.

I have had the 30L Everyday Backback since 2018, literally using it every day. It is just as suited to an office commute as it is to a dusty windy film set in the middle of the wilderness. I can carry all of my equipment (iPad, Laptop, SLR & lenses, nodal head, tripod etc.) plus extra layers of clothing, puffer jacket, sunblock, chargers, batteries... Using the bag is a pleasure, everything is where it should be and easily accessible. The ability to re-configure the internals according to particular needs is unmatched. The build quality is excessive, the slick and attractive fabrics are resilient to dirt and rain and mud. I have no problem placing the bag on the ground, even on a beach, rocky mountain, dusty road or muddy field - the bag wipes clean easily. After 5.5 years, after spending a little time under a rain machine, I realized the top zip was no longer as waterproof as it had been, the weather sealing had worn away. Peak Design performed a warranty swap out with the new 30L V2. This new bag is just as slick as the old one with some welcome minor tweaks and improvements. Would recommend

I have the 20L bag, and it is perfect for a Z8, a few lenses, and a speedlight. Being very water-resistant is a plus, and it can take a lot of extra soft-goods in the top with no problem.

I saw this backpack while i was waiting in line at the NRT airport and loved the sleek lines. I knew it was a PD product just from seeing it. The 20L Everyday Backpack was the perfect size for me: this is my commute backpack, with plenty of space for my ergo keyboard, cables, etc, and a spare jacket if i get cold. I had just spent a week in Japan and thought for sure I'd find the "perfect" backpack there. (hours at Hands and other stores; none as good as the Everyday Backpack) I recommend it!

I have been a user of PD products, since the first camera capture (which I still have) and have been interested in the bags since the V1 came out. Recently as my last laptop backpack started falling apart, I realized it was time to get something, but not another bag that would fail within a year or two. I was also hopeful that the bag I would choose would work to transport camera/video gear for city walks and small video shoots on-location. (I have a nice messenger bag, but it's limited in space and hard to carry for a long time). I admit that I was put off by the cost of the Everyday bag for a long time, so I asked anyone I saw with one what they thought, and the ONLY regret one person had was they should have picked the 30L over the 20L. So, coupled with my experience with other PD products, I ordered the 30L Everyday bag V2 (along with the belt and tech pouch). When it arrived, I was VERY impressed with the attention to detail, not just in manufacturing (which was to be expected at this price), but in design. All the little features (such as magnetic closures, expandable side pockets, laptop pouch, zipper choice, straps, etc, etc) added up to a huge WOW factor. I can say that as someone willing to save longer for a better product, this bag is worth the cost (and wait). My only suggestion would be to include the belt; this bag, loaded with camera gear and a laptop can be heavy and a belt is important (in my opinion) to transfer the weight from my shoulders to my hips. Another note, if you are looking for a hiking camera bag, this is not the bag. Instead get a great hiking bag (such as an Osprey), a capture clip, and a camera cube. This is a better solution for long hikes (better IMO than a the hiking camera bags out there).

I think this is a 4.5-star bag, but I wasn't able to leave that rating. Very smartly designed with nice amounts of compartments. The side zip is priceless, I don't think I can use another backpack. The two issues I have may be due to my size. I'm 6' 6" and when I use the chest strap to pull the two backpack straps together, it cuts almost across my neck. And when I wear the backpack for long periods of time with any weight, the sides of the backpack straps start rubbing into the sides of my chest. I'm considering trying the larger size to see if it will work.

I bought the V1 back in 2019, and never looked back. It was a big investment for me, but it served me well and I genuinely did use it everyday for camera gear and a 16inch macbook pro, spanning multiple continents. After 5 years one of the zips finally gave out on me. I was devastated, until I read somewhere about their lifetime warranty. Within 30min Peak Design had a new V2 replacement bag shipped to me free of charge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

After 25 years of lugging cameras for work, this is now my go-to bag, holds way more gear than I could've imagined, and is packed with so many cool features. One 8 day international trip down and an upcoming trip to the desert, and worked flawlessly from an urban environment to 2112m up in the Alps.

I purchased the 30L everyday backpack a few weeks ago. I have converted it to be my everyday backpack I carry daily. Before it was a hassle to remember to pack my camera, but now I always have it with me and use it more often. I love being able to access anything in the bag without having to take it off. Highly recommend purchasing in conjunction with the camera clip. It's so much better than your camera bouncing on a strap as you walk all day. I'd recommend the hip belt accessory as an add on for the 30L. When you have it fully loaded, it transfers the weight to your hips and takes pressure off your shoulders. I just leave mine attached all the time, push up the straps up out of the way when I don't need them.

It's been quite the journey, but look how far we've come, my camera-loving companion. We might have taken the long way, but we always knew we'd get there someday. They said, "I bet they'll never make it," but here we are, defying the odds. This bag is the one I run to, the one that I belong to. With its versatile design and thoughtful features, it's still the one I want for life. From its customizable dividers to its weatherproof construction, it's still the one that I love. It's the only one I dream of when it comes to carrying my gear. And at the end of the day, when the sun sets and it's time to pack it all in, this bag is still the one I kiss goodnight. I'm so glad we made it, my trusty Peak Design Everyday Bag. Look how far we've come, my baby. Together, we're still going strong.

I purchased the 30L model and love it. The construction is solid and it is great that it stands on its own even when I take out the items stored underneath. If I may say so, the following items would be more perfect. Flexibility of the dividers The main zipper is too tight, so it is easy to get caught. I have used a number of bags and the overall satisfaction is top class. I over packed the zipper and had to go over it, but the replacement support was prompt. This is an expensive bag, but the benefits will be lessened if you don't buy from a reputable distributor and get the support you need. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

I have several peak design products to date. The everyday backpack has been my go to for everything. This is especially true for travel. Everything is where it needs to be and it has a luggage handle sleeve so you can place it easily on your carryon luggage.

This is amazing bag. the material is everything that i would want In a Bag . But there is only one thing I would like to see - the magnet to be stitched in place, that's it."Well, I would also love To see a carry-on roller bag put together too! Just putting that out there.
