Love this product, it has been to many of my adventures, on road and off! NO issues, everything works and has withstood time and the inclmencies of the outdoors, heavy, bulky gear/packing, etc.

I can't say enough about this backpack. It's the Herman Miller Aeron of backpacks: once you get it you'll never need anything else. I use it for hiking, biking, commuting, work, and as a travel bag (it even meets frontiers personal item standards) The lifetime warranty is superfluous, this bag will last a lifetime. If the price feels to steep (it shouldn't scare you, it's worth it) then check PD Marketplace!

I've only had the bag a few weeks but I already love it. The features are really intuitive and carefully thought about. Nothing is extraneous or unnecessary. Super comfy to wear and adjust. The ONLY downside for me is that the 20L is a LITTLE smaller than I thought, especially with the dividers in it, but they can be adjusted/removed so it's not a criticism of the bag.

Have been using it now for 2 weeks, and is performing as expected. Have been able to structure the inside of the pack according my wishes with the dividers and have been able to find a convenient spot for all that I want to carry. Is also very comfortable.

I was hesitant to buy this and was looking at a competitor but after watching endless videos as well as some of Peak Designs own product videos I pulled the trigger. As a photographer day to day I was thrilled with the customization and kept finding new things out it seems every other day (hidden pockets, customization, etc).
My biggest concern was a trip I just recently took to Japan and if I could use this is my travel pack. Peak makes one specifically for this but I had already bought this. With the travel cubes in my arsenal I was thrilled to get a weeks worth of clothes with the larger and medium sized travel cube as well I used the shoe cube as my carry on.
Oh this was all with a Canon R6, 15-35mm and a 70-200mm packed.
Now it was heavy and I wouldn't advise lugging all that around on a day-to-day basis during travel but not surprisingly it was a lot easier than I expected due to the design of the shoulder straps and quality build. My shoulders were tired on days we moved locations and there was lots of walking but I was surprised at how light all that felt.
If you're on the fence about this bag...don't be it's well worth the investment. Im thrilled with the result and glad I spent the extra money getting something that I can use for years.

I use this bag whenever I go on photography trips, I love the different compartments and how easy it is to unzip the side and find the exact lens or accessory I'm looking for.
When I head into the day job it does a great job holding my electronics -- I have a tech pouch I slide into the bottom and my lunch sits on top, laptop in the sleeve.
I don't have to mess with the configuration for both these main use cases, which works well for me. I think if you did, it might be somewhat a pain point as getting those internal dividers in just the right location time and time again might get old.
My only real complaint (it still gets 5 stars) is that the bag wears sort of heavy and warm. Sometimes when I'm hiking a ways on a photo trip I get overly sweaty where a 'hiking bag' just sort of wears a bit better, in my opinion. The material just isn't really breathable by design so I don't know that it's a solvable problem, but the little fin on the back just doesn't really do the trick to keep the bag feeling 'airy'.
Awesome build quality like everything PD do - a very premium feeling bag.

Very comfortable to wear. I've read reviews where people complain about the pack's weight, but I love how much padding there is and how firmly it keeps its shape. I trust my camera equipment in it.
It's perfect for a small kit, so much so that I have it in my car at all times. It's as sturdy as a suitcase while at the same time pliable enough to store in tight spaces. I love the top handle. I love the magnetic clip (and didn't think I would) for the expandable top. I love how the pulls for side zippers store inside the bag for security. I love how the shoulder straps are held in place with magnets when not neing worn. I didn't truly like the look, but it seemed to be what I needed, so I ordered it. Because the pack is so easy to use and vary according to different trip needs, the look has grown on me. I am so impressed by the protection it provides and the thought that went into the compartment dividers. I want all my travel pieces to be made by Peak Design!

I bought the bag 2 years ago, use it every day and even after 2 years it still looks new!
I use it mainly as my work pc bag, but when I have to travel for a day or two, it is still big enough.
I also had an experience with after sales, and they responded quickly, efficiently, so all good here!

Bought this for not only carrying my camera equipment, but carrying everything i take to the office. This backpack is so awesome that we have even used it as a combo diaper/camera/snack/hoodie bag when on vacation. And even with all that it was still comfortable to wear all day. If you're on the fence then i would suggest of thinking about all the applications you can use it for, you'll probably surprise yourself haha

I bought mine for my photo gear: compact, sturdy, obviously designed by and for photographers. Flexible dividers are genius. But my husband borrowed it for a traveling backpack for work, and loved it as well, so we bought a second.

My name is Thiago and I live in Brazil. It's not easy to find Peak Design products here, so I asked a friend to bring them from the USA.
The backpack surprised me. I'm not a photographer and I use it as a day-to-day backpack and the build quality, the carefully thought out details make it the best backpack I've ever owned.
I will always be a Peak Design customer and will soon buy the iphone case and wallet.

I do recommend this bag. I'm an architect and urbanist, who used to be a professional photographer. So, I need to carry my m15 alienware notebook everywhere, razer headphones, glasses, pens, pencils, sketchbook, as well as photo camera and a small everyday gear. Finding a bag that would allow me to fit all this comfortably, and just walk to the subway station ( long 30min walk ) and commute, work, come back home, and have all I need at my fingertips at all times, was an ordeal. The Everyday backpack is pricey, and having to purchase from Brazil made it a complicated ordeal. But it was worth it, and worth every cent, with an amazing build quality and attention to detail. So I would not like a reduced price in name of reduced quality. If you do want the very best, and is willing to make one purchase you won't regret, this is a sure bet.

I am an engineer and let me tell you I am not easily satisfied (also I'm German, so sorry for my English). But the amount of thought that went into this product is just overwhelming. If you want an environmentally responsible backpack that water resistant and has a lifetime warranty, you will get that with your purchase. But if you are ready to learn more, be ready to have your mind blown. Every latch, every sipper, every strap is designed to do it's job as best as possible and most can do two or three jobs due to the modular desing. And the best part: You are not left alone to find out all the benefits of your backpack on your own. There is a video on youtube that explains every little feature of it.

I bought this almost a year ago while I was looking for a durable, and in general a perfect everyday backpack. The name in and itself delivered on its promise. I really enjoy my backpack and it's still as brand new despite carrying almost everyday, everywhere. Thank you PD team for designing this awesome stuff.

If you're in the market for a backpack, look no further than the Peak Design V2. I've tried a number of different backpacks over the years, including some that were more expensive than the V2, but none of them come close to the quality and versatility of this pack.
But what really sets the V2 apart is its versatility. It's designed to be used as both a camera bag and an everyday backpack, so you can easily transition from one activity to the next without having to switch bags. The customizable interior compartments make it easy to organize your gear, while the exterior pockets provide plenty of storage for all your other essentials.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Peak Design V2 to anyone in need of a high-quality backpack. It's a true grand slam in terms of design, durability, and versatility, and I'm confident it will serve you well for years to come.

PD is a great company with amazing products. The everyday bag is extremely well designed and built. It can be reconfigured in many ways to fit your needs from tech needs camera needs and every day stuff. My laptop is totally protected. It's waterproof and holds a water bottle on both sides. I couldn't be happier.

I got my backpack a month or so ago and I've used it ever since. I got the Everyday Backpack V2 20L and it perfectly holds my MacBook Pro 16" with a hardshell case on! I was worried I'd have to take the case off but it works perfectly for what I need. It also neatly fits the rest of my everyday carry as well.
I like the dividers and how you can customize them to your needs. It allows me to decide if I need extra space or to compartmentalize things.
