This top exceeded my expectations. I had completed a Smartwool challenge on Strava and had a discount to use. So glad I did! Just wish it came in light gray and black! Would buy a dress version!

Best summer running Hoddie. I'm absolutely obsessed with these, I had to order a couple more after the first one because I got tired of doing laundry so often. Perfect layer for summer days to shield your skin from the sun and bugs, but still feel comfortable and not over heated ! #sweepstakes

This shirts are awesome. Light, breathable. So far worn in a few spring days in the mountains. So not crazy warm, sometimes needed an extra layer - which is great! Looking forward for using these all summer. Seem super versatile. My only not-so-favorite thing is that the other color I got (copper) is a bit see-through :( Nothing outrageous, so that won't stop me from wearing it.

I ordered a larger size because I wanted a more flowing look. Layers great under or over a t-shirt and long sleeve shirts. I will use this a lot in the summer for the sun protection, thin enough to not make me overheat.

Bought for sun protection in hot weather on the river. Haven't done that trip yet, but pre-trip it has been great!

I've only had it for three weeks. But it's so comfortable and flattering that I ordered a second in same black color. It's a great deep black color. I'm 5'3" 128lbs with an belly and busty and medium fits perfectly. I don't have to shorten the sleeves as I usually need to do either. Don't know about durability yet.

The best! I hope they aren't going to discontinue this. Today is the first day I put it on and I'm already in love. It's so breathable I can literally feel the air through it and I'm just sitting on my couch rn Lol. I would wear this doing anything. Running. Working out. Chilling. You name it. I would love it in a more boxy fit (I'm not a fan of the waist curve), but it isn't that bad. And that's my personal preference. Good job Smartwool!! Ps: yes it's a bit see through but who cares. I wouldn't wear this without a tank top underneath anyway. Plus it's so lightweight to make up for it.

I love it and had already bought one in orange through MEC in Victoria. I would love to buy other ultralite styles in bright colours if you have any! Please let me know which styles and colours you have available in the fabric for spring and summer 2026.

Love this hoodie I wore for a bit extra on chilly nights. Excellent merino wool in a light to medium weight. I'm happy with Smartwool for the durability, quality, and comfort of the clothes. Love the moisture wicking properties for active wearing too.

Very attractive and I love the fiber content. Can be a base layer or everyday shirt.

Love this overall. It's a nice lightweight long sleeve option for running. The sleeves were a bit short on me, but overall fit well.

This is where the too thin comes in very handy, its good for layering when the weather is warm or you just want to be able to take a nap in the airplane with a cover on your head. This time I got the darker color since the lighter colors tend to be quite sheer

Great base layer on cold days or main layer on cool days. Its super light weight and soft. Breathable but also warm!

I use this shirt for travel, hiking, on our boat and anytime I want to reduce my sun exposure! It is so soft and lightweight, I never feel too hot. Highly recommend!

I live in a warm climate but love hoodies so this is perfect. It's thin enough to wear when warm but the wool would still be fairly warm in cool weather too. Nice material and good color.

Thin breathable fabric, very comfortable. It's my second one as my first developed some tiny holes in the pant button area. Smartwool honored their warranty by giving me a coupon for the entire value to replace the product. Hopefully it won't happen again, but I really do love the feel of ultralight hoodies.

Im 4'9" - an extra petite active senior residing in Hawaii. I hike weekly in beautiful tropical climate and temps can be high as 85s - thank goodness for tradewinds! So pleased with my recent purchased green ultralight hoodie. The sleeve length is just right and so is the length. But the best benefit is the cool feeling I get even under heavy perspiration. The long sleeves protects my skin from the elements.

I got this in the pastel coral color, and it's gorgeous. I sized down to a small (I'm 5'7" athletic build) so I can wear it under a vest or puffy jacket when needed, and it's a perfect fit and has some stretchiness. It's neither clingy nor boxy. I got it for our upcoming treks in Nepal and Peru, and I think it will be perfect. The Merino-liocel-spandex blend is buttery soft and I haven't needed to launder it after several uses. The garment is very lightweight, so I wouldn't wear it for gardening, rock-climbing, or other activity where it would wear out, It's somewhat see-through, because it's so lightweight, but it's fine with a beige or neutral colored sports bra under it.

I originally bought this for runs on a chilly day day where I know I will quickly warm up and I don't want anything heavy or too warm on me, but want something to cover my arms from the misty trail or foggy beach. From there it started getting thrown over leggings for errands and coffee with friends to wearing to work with jeans. It's extremely lightweight weight, a little sheer, and needs to come in more colors.

I can't believe how lightweight this hoodie is! I ordered it to wear on the Camino in Spain, and I'm happy it feels like the perfect weight.
