I'm so glad Smartwool continues to make this hoodie. This is my third. The weight of the fabric is perfect for Southern California. Super light, but enough to keep the sun off. Love it!

I was looking for a lightweight layer that I could use for sun protection. This is incredible. It breathes well and is super comfortable to wear hiking or just around town. This is going to be a layer that is constantly in my bag because it is so versatile. I hope they make it in more colors in the future!

Perfect to stay warm. Not too hot. I would like too a sweater without hoody un the same fabric.

I have 2 of this style. I wear them for sun protection when gardening , rowing ( on the water) and running. Heat and sweat management if great; love the colors!

I like it a lot. Just wish they had something similar to this in men's sizes. Like, don't change anything, but make it a bit longer.

I bought the fern color and it is absolutely beautiful! It is lightweight but not see through. This is the layer I have been searching for! I will use it for hiking and off roading in AZ and traveling.

Already wrote a review but I just had to come back and write another. Wore this on a trip to Peru where we encountered temperatures from 35F to 90F, and humidity levels from rainforest to desert. I found myself wearing this in every one of those environments. I'm fair skinned and it protected my skin from the intense sun at high altitude. People are saying it's sheer it is! But it would be uncomfortable in the heat if it wasn't! I am very impressed and wished I had brought more than one.

Haven't had a chance to really use this out on a hike, but it's so incredibly soft. Material is so thin, which, I imagine, makes it not too durable (as other reviewers have noted), but it also makes it so light and airy. I've worn it just around in 80+ degrees comfortably, and the blue color is absolutely beautiful.

This is such a great hoodie. It is lightweight and protects me from the hot sun. It's just right for summer due to being so light and sheer, but adds a layer of light warmth for cooler nights.

Love the weight of this as a standalone top or as an extra layer. Light enough to be great in warmer weather and a great insulator when the weather starts cooling off.

Great for early morning rowing! Light coverage, easy to move in, some sun protection. I expect it will be great for warmer ski days, too would love it in hi-viz colors tho!

I will actually wear it when I sleep when camping. It can get very cold and damp so I like the idea of the hood keeping my head warm.

I fish, sunscreen shirts are too hot in the sun and too cold when temp drops. Love this temp regulating shirt. Thumb holes would make it perfect

Fits great. Light weight so nice and cool on those hot summer days on the water when you want sun protection.

This has been the best purchase for all the summer activities! I wear this on long (20mile) hikes and it dries so fast and doesn't stink. Fit is perfect too!

I do love this shirt for hiking and other outdoor activities. It's also soft enough for lounging at home. Lightweight with good sun coverage; the only downside (and it's small) is that I'm still trying to get used to the way natural fabrics smell differently when they heat up than the artificial fabrics we've all been wearing for the past few years. This is a perfect addition to the minimalist wardrobe I am building.

I love wearing this for running during the slightly cooler mornings where I know I'll be hot at first and get warmer later. These are extremely lightweight and a comfortable.
