Great product, highly recommend!

For years I've been buying other Altra models because their wide toe box a half-size up accommodates my EE feet. Noticed the Lone Peak line had a wide. What a revelation, an Altra that truly fits! I love my Paradigms but won't buy any other Altras until they supply wide widths. And the new 2023 Lone Peak wide is an unappealing blue.

I bought these for my dad for Christmas, after he commented on my LP 6s. He has very wide feet, plus bunions, which makes finding hiking shoes difficult. He absolutely loves these. Thanks, Altra.

I run in Wisconsin and between snow, ice, sleet, etc these shoes have great traction. I've had no issues running in conditions. I also enjoy wearing them day to day in the winter because they have good grip, feel great and are a good day to day shoe. These are turning into my favorite shoe.

I have been impressed with their stability while descending Rocky technical sections. My feet still feel good after 10 milers in these. Surprisingly great traction on snow packed trails as well.

I love this shoe so far. It has great grip for the trail and doesn't hold to much mud. It also is very comfortable.

We bought a pair of hiking shoes for our son for Christmas. He put them on and loves them. Hasn't taken them off. Great fit and look. Highly recommend. He's a big guy and hard to fit.

I love these trail runners! I bought two pairs and I plan on sticking with this make and model for the foreseeable future.

I had such a hard time finding shoes that fit my feet because the front of my foot is very wide but the back is narrow. These are perfect, and so comfy!! I would, and have, recommended these shoes.

My son loves the Lone Peak, it's the only running shoe he's tried that's finally wide enough for his 4E feet. It's also plenty comfy & functions perfectly on the rocky dirt roads here.

I walk 3 miles a day. This is my third pair of Altras because they hold up and are very comfortable.

Love these shoes! They are the only shoes that help me walk without foot pain due mostly to the generous toe space your shoes have. I will buy these shoes for the rest of my life.

This is my 4th Lone Peak shoe. Love the room in the toe box.

These have been great on my morning runs on the snowy roads around town. To much snow on the trails to test them there.

One of the best shoes I've purchased, wish I could afford more than one pair currently.

These are about the only shoes I wear. If Altra made these in solid black I could wear them for work and then they'd be the only shoes I wear. Best shoes I've ever owned. Hands down!!!

I got the wide foot size 9 and it feels amazing. It is great. The only downside to this shoe is that it is slippery on regular surfaces but I guess it is a trail running shoe. Excellent!

I was having issues with my feet when running and after finding lone peak 6 I am putting in 10 mile days again. Just ordered a lone peak 7 and hope it is just as good. Great job.

Use for everyday and especially great trail hiking with our dog

I have a EEEE standard sho me width. These shows fit like a dream. I wish you had more color options in the wide.

Love these shoes. I never write reviews, but these are worth it. Wider fit is perfect for wide feet, I always have that issue with typical shoes.

I have a half dozen Altra shoes and am generally a fan, although they're making me nervous by introducing all these narrower footbed designs. I believe people come to Altra for the wide footbeds and possibly the zero drop, so why make changes? There are plenty of manufacturers who make narrow shoes (like, ALL of them). Anyway, back to the LP 6. The fit feels almost exactly the same as my LP4.5s and, if anything, is improved. The sole has a bit more cushion and energy return over the 4.5, so that feels good. The heel doesn't seem to rub my Achilles raw like the 4.5 does if I'm not wearing tall enough socks. And the charcoal color way with dark red looks great! Sometimes Altras color choices leave me scratching my head but these are sweet.
