She complained that the part surrounding her heel/ankle was too tight. We will be returning.

These were a gift for Mother's Day from my daughter. I'd been looking to buy them myself, but hadn't gotten to it yet. When she asked what I would like, I picked these! Not my first pair. More like fourth or fifth. Mostly because I like having them in different colors. I wear them most days. They are comfortable and wear very well. Perfect for the cement floor at my job.

We have 3 pairs of these hiking boots. They fit perfectly and give great support. Both both my son and daughter love them and they are sturdy enough to hand down. They also look great.

I'm an adult female and just recently purchased my 5th pair. The only issue I have with them, is that after a while, they will split between the 1st & 2nd row of suede, on the fabric area, on the side of the boot. They are then no longer waterproof. Hence the 5th pair. I wear these every day sometimes all day. They are very comfortable. One other small issue is that they are too wide to fit into standard width stirrups. They are supposed to be for hiking, so that probably isn't relevant.

We've had these for a few weeks but just tested it. My 12 year old wore these for a hike through the mountains of MD last week. The cold trek took him through some water at times and he was pleased to report that the water "just ran off" his boots. Boots came back dry and looking pristine. Better yet my child's feet were warm and dry.

My grandson wore them in the wet and cold mountains. Kept him warm and dry.

These boots are awesome! My son's feet are dry and warm. They clean off well. My only complaint is they come untied easily. Which slows my son down. He requests we triple knot them!

I am a woman who generally wears a size 7.5 in women's. I order the size 6 in dark loden and I am in love! The boots fit perfectly and the color is amazing! The boots are sooo comfy. I am excited to wear them in Arizona in a few weeks and get them out on the trails. Very satisfied with my purchase! Now to test out how dry my feet will stay :)

I've bought several of these over the years for my grandchildren, both girls and boys. The fit is true to size. I would not consider them waterproof in long exposure to snow. Ok to run thru puddles and shallow water.

I bought these for myself as I am adult with small feet. I wasn't sure about the sizing but I followed the directions exactly and the boots fit me perfectly. I have worn them for a solid 2 days now to make sure I didn't have any problems before I pack them for a trip. They are very comfortable. I highly recommend for any one, child or adult.

My son is on his second pair. We hesitated purchasing the original pair thinking sneakers would be fine, but we're very glad we got them. The boots are definitely waterproof, have good traction, and seem to be comfortable - no complaints on fit and no blisters. The original pair saw over 20 miles of rocky and rooty New England trails before they were outgrown. The second pair made it to Zealand Hut and Zeacliff fresh out of the box and performed outstanding. Highly recommended.

My 8 year old son loves these. They were the perfect choice for our fishing/hiking adventure in streams of north central PA. Kept his feet perfectly dry and he felt stable and safe on the rocks, exactly what we needed and he loved the look of them too.

My son hasn't worn these shoes much yet, but we are looking forward to hikes in them! I appreciate the quality of the shoe. Waterproof shoes can be expensive (especially for kids who outgrow shoes quickly). These were reasonably priced. I also appreciate that the shoes are real leather and not man-made materials. We returned the first pair because they were snug. Returns were super easy.

My 5yr old son is *very* active, jumps in puddles at every chance, climbs everything, gets muddy/wet on a regular basis and really tests the limits of his shoes. Summer sneakers barely last a season. These last the full winter and then some! The waterproofing is pretty good, but they are not a substitute for rubber boots. This is actually our second pair after he outgrew the ones from last year - yet last year's are still in solid shape. The blue/grey/black color scheme looks sharp with jeans or winter pants. The laces are strong & not difficult to tie. My son's large feet do take a little effort to get into the shoes, but once they're on he's a happy camper.

I purchased these for my grandson. The shoes were well made and fit was as described. I love having a good pair of boots that are warm and water proof for the winter. He doesn't have to change rain boots for shoes at school.

I bought a pair of these boots for my 8 year old grandson. He wore them to play in the snow and mud and they got quite dirty. My daughter threw them in the washing machine (I don't think I would have done that for the sake of the washing machine) but they came out fine. Very durable.

My son went through 4 pairs of these over the last 6 years and they have been comfortable from the start, offer excellent traction, keep his feet dry (unless he walked in a sream above the height of the boot and allowd water to flow over the top), and prevented many an ankle sprain. My only complaint is that he is now in a size 7 and must wear adult sized (more expensive) boots now.

I am a Mail Carrier with small feet. I was searching for hiking shoes for the spring & fall seasons. I really put shoes to the test. These hiking boots are fantastic for warmth, comfort, & waterproof. I love these. I will definitely get another pair when I wear these out. Totally recommend for any ruff boy or girl & it won't be hard to get them to wear these - I hate to take them off at night.

I purchased two pair of these boots for my 7 and 9-year-old boys who are very active. I had purchased two pair of high quality hiking boots from another store and my boys didn't like them at all. I returned those boots and purchased these. The boys loved these boots right away. The fit was great and both boys tell me they are comfortable. It is a cool rainy day here in Minnesota, and the boys have been outside playing with these boots on for three hours now with no complaints. They are looking forward to wearing them on our trip to Wisconsin and Duluth next weekend, when we will be doing some hiking.

I bought these and another well-known brand to see which was a better fit for my 4-year-old, who loves hiking. These looked more like real hiking boots (especially the ankle cushioning), and were actually wider than the other, which came in a wide width. The boots have excellent traction, and seem comfortable for my son. He is just growing out of a size 9w shoe, and these in a 10, with thicker socks, fit okay. I wish they came in half sizes, and wide widths, too. The better a hiking boot fits, the better the traction and comfort. Nevertheless, these seem to be the best of what's out there. I'll be buying again when he outgrows these.

I've been buying these for my 2 kids still at home for the past 3 years now. The kids wear them to school during the winter (it snows here) and whenever we go out hiking somewhere anytime during the year. The boots have always still been in excellent shape by the time my kids grow out of them.

They fit well, even though I have wide feet. I measured the length of my foot per instructions, and the length is perfect. I really love these hiking boots.

I ordered and shipment said del 2 days. It came in one! Very good customer service!! The hiking boot was better than expected upon delivery as opposed to viewing in catalog! Excellent product for after big snow storms and during the thaw prior, as the ground is real soggy!

We bought these hiking boots for our 5 year old son because we needed a shoe that wasn't particularly flexible. He has walked on his tippy toes since he learned to walk and has been in Physical Therapy to help him walk heel to toe. He just had just been through 3 weeks of casting and we needed to find a shoe that would help keep his flexibility. We searched high and low for something that he felt comfortable in and would not be flexible. He absolutely loves these boots and they keep his feet dry from snow/rain.
