We love these boots. My daughter, who is very particular, says they fit great, feel good and are warm. I especially like that they come with a second pair of liners. We love LL Bean!

Bought for my granddaughter. Warm,stylish and waterproof. She loves them.

Between the LL Bean Snow pants and these boots, our 9yr old boys never want to come inside. Their socks are always dry when they take these boots off. The "sleeve" of the boot comes up to just below their knees, plus there is a drawstring to tighten up so no snow gets in. Very solid construction, plus you get a set of extra insoles with these so if they do get wet you just pull them out and put the other ones in.

I purchased a pair for my 8 year old son. The boots are warm, waterproof, and appear extremely durable. He is a rough, hard playing kid. He's worn them for a week and still look new. At this time, these appear to be a great boot that will last all season. The only negative I have is he did mention they were heavy the first few times he wore them.

My 10YO sporty son LOVES this boot. It's high, so helps keep the snow out. It's got TWO sets of insulation inserts. And it's rugged looking in the dark colors.

I've purchased these boots the past couple years and both my boys and I love them! They keep their feet warm & dry as they play in the snow for hours. The traction on the bottom is great! I love that they come with 2 sets of liners it makes them like new for handing down to younger brother! Well worth the money!

These boots are great. I have been using this style for my kids since they were little. They are always dry and keep you warm.....

My granddaughter has not worn these boots yet, but every year I buy the Northwood boots because I have found them to be the warmest and keep my granddaughters feet dry. I do think they are a bit heavy, but the main thing is warmth.

I inherited a pair of LLBean boots for my son a few years back and was impressed with the quality so I decided to splurge this year and get him a new pair. My son is almost five and very active. He's looking forward to snow and planning on playing in it a lot. I love that this boot comes with two liners and the higher profile means that snow won't sneak into his boots as easily. I originally ordered the navy but ended up going with a patterned version instead. Both are great quality: it was purely an aesthetic thing to switch. I ordered about a size large and he can still walk fine. I'm hoping to get two years for him and another two for my daughter! Great boots!

This is now the 7th year I have ordered these boots. I LOVE them. They are high to keep snow out and have an extra liner to allow the other liner to dry when wet or sweaty (and we all know stinky winter boot smell!) I just wish you had kept the camo design and that these came is larger sizes. This will prob be our last time ordering these boots as my boys have outgrown the sizes. Thank you

Other years the boots were spot on. This year when we ordered a pair the first pair sent was waaayyy too narrow. We sent them back and the replacement pair fit but I think they seem the tiniest bit small. These boots used to be just right, now I think they are trimming them a bit smaller.

I bought it from LL bean it was great!!!! But it was a bit big. But I like it!

Got this boot for my 8 y/o granddaughter to use in the snow. Her parents were impressed with the quality including a draw string to keep out the moisture and double removable lining. Yet to be tested in the snow as a Christmas gift.

Nice boots, but too heavy for little kids. My 6 year old girl try do not use those because makes her tired she says.

I purchased these boots for my granddaughter. She absolutely loves them. She kept telling her mom, my daughter, to make sure and tell Nana how great they are and how much she loves them. The taller height is great, the second liner should be mandatory in all winter boots, and they are warm.

These boots are awesome - they keep my daughter's feet warm and DRY even on these extremely cold winter days. I love that there is a back-up set of liners, even though we haven't had to use them yet. It brings peace of mind since my daughter spends the bulk of each day outside. The only reason I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 is that I am trying to buy all of our winter clothing from manufacturers who are using recycled materials in their products - that's a priority for our family. This is one of the few exceptions, and I have no regrets, but if LLBean would consider making that change, I would be an even bigger fan.

Lightweight, tall enough for deep snow. Love that two pair of boot liners were included so one set of liners can dry (if they get wet, but they didn't today) and you still have a second pair of liners ready for use. His feet were warm and dry after 3 hours outside playing in the snow. Very well made. Well worth the price. Will buy again next year.

I buy these shoes every year. We live in Vermont, and these boots are warm and perfect for our winters. I'm not too fond of dark colors this year, but function precedes beauty.

This looks like a good sturdy winter boot. Unfortunately my grandson couldn't get his foot in the boot. Wide feet. Buying a size up wasn't the solution. Bummed. Bought as a birthday gift for grandson in a different state. Disappointed in llbeans return policy of gift cards only. His replacement gift will now be delayed.

My kid wears a 4.5 sneaker so I sized up to a 5. It's huge but it keeps my kid's feet warm and dry.

Good in keeping out the snow. It warm enough. But a bit too big since there are no 1/2 sizes

Great fit for wide feet. Great reasonable price. My only complaint is they are a little heavy. The sales staff was excellent, very helpful , and patient in both children's and adult shoe Dept in Freeport Maine. It was super busy.

Good solid choice for boys snow boots. Wish the colors were more varied and nicer for the boys - blues, greens, etc. as to color choices.
