Great snow boot. My 6yo loves the pink color. I love that she can put them on herself and they came with an extra liner. She's in between a 2 and 3 at the moment, so would have been nice if they were available in 1/2 sizes. Boots seem a little heavy to me, but she doesn't seem to mind or notice. Ready for winter upstate.

Seem giant. I ordered a youth 3. Compared to the youth 3 I ordered from Kamik, the LlBean boot seems enormous, though I know some room is needed for the liners. And I do like having an extra set of liners.

These were too small for my son, but they look so strong and comfortable that I'm putting them away for the next kid.

I love LL Bean products because they are quality made using great products and will last. My grand daughter wanted PURPLE boots. You know the stage. I was delighted when I found that LL Bean had Purple boots and after reading reviews even sized up one but alas they were too small so had to send them back. Since it was too hard to get them to fit, I just gave her the money to fit t hem locally so we'd know it was a good fit and wouldn't have to keep shipping back and forth. Not sure if I was given the wrong size or she grew a lot since the last time she got shoes so not sure where the fault is. They looked like great boots and was disappointed they didn't work

This is our third pair of LLBean boots, which are warm and comfy for my kids, but unfortunately, the lace broke the second time my son wore them.

This is the 2nd pair I've purchased for my grandson. He feet are growing quickly, so he outgrows them way before he could wear them out. Unfortunately for LLBean, they've taken away their wonderful guarantee, and most of the free shipping. So, even though they're a good boot, I always shop around before I buy now.

The best compliment is when your kid says nothing but takes off running. The boots don't allow a lot of ankle-movement. No issues with wet feet, either. (But the snow has only been a couple of inches deep so far) Having two inserts is a smart move from LLBean, too.

Love these boots and have been purchasing them for the past seven years. Here comes the but.... The boot is so awesome that after going through all three of my boys the exterior of the boot is still in perfect condition but the liners wear out within one year of wearing them. This of course would not be a problem if L.L Bean made replacement liners. They do not.

I ordered these after our first snow and so haven't had a chance to try them out, as no more snow has fallen. But they are warm and sturdy and am sure will do the trick. Only drawback is they don't bend at the ankle so it makes for a stiff walk. Maybe after several wearings, they'll loosen up.

As is the case with most L.L. Bean products, these boots stand the test of time! I've been able to pass them down the line through my 5 kids over the years and while they still look practically new, they have been used to the point that three of our pairs are in need of replacement liners....but no luck! L.L. Bean doesn't have them available for purchase. I'm stuck now with three great pair of boots with loads of wear still left in them, but without a liner, they aren't warm enough to send my kids out in the snow with. Huge bummer!

Bought kids sz 5. Inserts were too small, could not get foot in. Insert opening were so small and too narrow compared to boots. Gave inserts to hope chest and wore boots with slipper socks.

I'm a women's size 8 and the boots fit me. Too big for my son who wears kid's size 7, which is what we ordered. Besides that, they look waterproof and go up the calf a nice distance for heavy snow coverage.

My kiddo never complains of cold feet with these and the 2 liners are a lifesaver some days, but I will say every time we go into the snow and come back in , these boots are wet. And it doesn't even have to be wet snow or water.

We have gotten the Northwoods snow boots for years now. Year after year they are outgrown before any wearing out and have been sturdy and warm. This year we have gotten our usual pair but they were way way too narrow. I chatted with customer service and they have sent a replacement that my child hasn't yet tried on but they appear to be as narrow as the first pair we got this year. We'll find out if they are wearable after school today but I'm feeling a bit skeptical at the moment. I want to comment because this same style of boot was consistently excellent for years, and only this year appear to have been made wrong. This is the second pair in a week so far and I hope we find some boots comparable to the Northwoods snow boot of years gone by before it snows here in Massachusetts.
All years before now these boots were 5 stars
This yearunwearable so far, after two attempts shipped to us!

The boots have been great. Unfortunately, the liners aren't the best. My son wore through both sets of liners in the first (long) winter. I asked LLbean about buying new liners and was told they don't sell them. I looked for other felt liners and can't seem to find ones that either fit the boot or aren't pretty expensive.

Bought these for my daughter and she complained that it was too tight, so I had to return those and got something else instead.

Kids winter boots that are only water resistant are somewhat useless in my opinion. Winter is wet and messy here in Maine and waterproof is necessary. I'll look elsewhere next time. Too bad. I know it says water resistant in the description.

These boots are cute and very warm looking. Unfortunately the first time my 9 year old put them on to go outside, she pulled on the velcro strap and the plastic buckle broke in two. We will be returning these and finding another boot. How sad for my daughter who was so excited for these!
I also thought it was very odd that these boots had an extra set of boot liners in the box. Are the boot liners so cheap that they expect them to wear out quickly? LL Bean quality is lacking on this product!

We originally bought size 9 in the toddler version but was too small. Our daughter is just getting into size 9 shoes in other brands (sketchers, stride rite, target brand). We returned and bought size 10 in this kids boot and it's very long and somewhat narrow. Also for young kids these are heavy, tall boots. Will try again in the future when our daughter is older because they seem to be great quality.

My sons have worn these boots for a couple years now. I have been very satisfied with them until now. I took the liners out to wash them and discovered the liners on one pair were completely worn through. I have boys and we live in Michigan so they are wearing these boots nonstop. I would consider it normal wear and tear. My issue came today when I discovered I can't get replacement liners for these. I was told by customer service to google wool liners and buy separate ones. Upon doing that I see I will have to spend almost close to what I would spend on new boots for liners that probably won't even fit. It's very disappointing.

Boots leaked after three months. Thanks to Bean's superior customer service, they were replaced. Gave three stars (average) as perhaps only this particular pair was defective.

My son would come home from school complaining about his wet feet while wearing these boots. We were constantly having to dry the liners and boots out each night. We thought he was jumping into puddles or something, but realized he was just being a kid playing in the snow! I would not recommend these. We returned and bought Boggs instead.

These boots are really well made, a pleasing color (torquoise blue)
And came with an extra set of wool liners......at a great price!
I bought the biggest kid size (7)for my petite teenage daughter-she wears an adult 7-these boots were so big that I could not wear them! and I am an adult 8 & 1/2.....they were WAY too big!

Purchased two pairs, one for my 3 year old, size 11 and my 5 year old, size 1. And they are HUGE!!!! The boot comes up to both of their knees! IT makes the boots too big, clunky and not easy for maneuvering for a toddler. I had a size 11 'llbean snow boot from last year, they are boys so even though my daughter is size 11 wanted to get her a prettier pair and the size of the ones we got today are double the size! Sadly they have to go back. It's hard enough for the kids to move in the snow with their little legs and then to add huge, clunky boots, there's just no way!!!! These are more suitable for 7 and up
