These backpacks are amazing! All my kids have one. They are super durable and last forever! (My senior is using the same classic black LL Bean backpack he got in first grade. And, I still have mine from my senior year in high school.) You can't go wrong with this backpack!

This bright and colorful backpack was purchased for my granddaughter who is starting first grade. When given to her she immediately started putting her school supplies in it and she said that she loved it. Given the opportunity we would make the same purchase and as a bonus this backpack is guaranteed not to rip and or tear.

When my daughter started kindergarten she insisted on a princess backpack. That broke within the first two months of school. I then ordered an llbean backpack and have been very happy. She is now going into 2nd grade and it still looks new. She also uses it year round since she has to bring a backpack to summer camp. During the school year it holds her folders, computer and lunch no problem. The side pocket is great since it holds different size water bottles. Just ordered another one for my son who is starting kindergarten. It is a great value and product. Would highly recommend!

I have this backpack in the lazy daisy green color. I love it. My daughter had a bigger LLbean backpack that is of great quality but was too heavy for her petite frame. I gave her mine to try for a few days. She loved it! No more back pain! All her things fit in it. So I ordered her this one in the sled dog sled pattern. She and I both love this backpack. She can fit her laptop and everything she needs for school. She is 15. Would highly recommend LLbean backpacks. They last forever and they look like new forever! Would recommend this size if you want to carry what you need without it being too heavy.

Fits plenty, bought for 1st day of school but using for summer camp. Holds towel, extra change of clothes, sunscreen, water bottle, and a pair of flip flops with room to spare.

I just ordered my third LL Bean backpack for my third elementary school aged child and I will never buy another brand. My son is entering 5th grade (5 years using his backpack) and it's still in perfect condition both in functionality and looks! I've been so impressed with the quality of these backpacks.
