Purchased the backpack for my almost 4-year old grandson who is very excited to return to school with it. It's the perfect size for him and the camouflage pattern should help to keep it looking good.

I personally love LL Bean's backpacks! I purchased 2 for my daughters for school. Price is reasonable. They are made to last. I had one years ago.

This is such a well made beautiful bag. I had always heard good things about L.L. Bean back backs and now I can see why. It is durable, way more than my daughters previous bag. It is very roomy and has several compartments. The side pocket for the water bottle is large enough to accommodate larger water bottles. I am very happy with this purchase and can see that this bag will last for several years.

Great backpack for my 1st grader! Well made.

We have three grandchildren and have purchased an LL Bean Backpack for each one as they start school. Our youngest one started kindergarten and chose this one so I ordered it and it arrived even earlier than expected. She was thrilled with it and even used it to go "hiking" last weekend. These LL Bean backpacks are definitely winners!

Another classic LL Bean backpack. We only had to buy this for our 4th grader because his original Bean backpack was a little too small. It held up since kindergarten. I only regret monogramming it since it makes it hard to pass on since it will no doubt hold up for four more years!
