Little big for my 7 year old girl but nice overall.

A good basic backpack for a small child to take to school or daycare. Can also be used as a diaper bag in a pinch. Well constructed and a good pattern.

Has plenty of pockets, which I need but it's not bulky because you have more than enough pockets to spread everything out and separate what you need in each.

Great classic design and LL Bean construction. Pattern and embroidered name look great, too. Water bottle pocket on side is deep and sturdy enough for small Yeti rambler bottle.

I purchased this bookbag for my 4th grader. It is holding up well, and the colors are great. I see him getting a few years out of this before needing to upgrade to the larger size.

The only thing I hate is the flap over the zipper because it can get caught, but I won't take a star away. My child is tough on things, and I would guess that this bag should hold up for a few years at least. It is nice and roomy on the inside, great for elementary kids. It holds homework folders as well as the snack bag.

Roomy enough for a lunch box and other things but not too big for my kindergartener. Good quality, seems like it will last through all of elementary school at least

I have always bought your backpacks yearly for both my children. Not because they didn't hold up but because they are so reasonably priced and it was tradition. We just handed them down to others. Now my kids are 25 and 22 and they have their on little ones headed to school. So the tradition starts again!
