Bought this at the beginning of my daughter's third grade school year. This backpack stood up to a full school year of bus rides, being stuffed in a cubby everyday, and thrown down at the babysitter's house at the end of the school day! I've never had a backpack that wasn't almost destroyed and completely filthy by the end of the school year until I bought this one from LL Bean! Will never buy any other brand!

I ordered the flower print for a friends little girl. It was well made, pretty and roomy. Her name looked great on it, I chose Navy which was recommended and it looked great as well. This is well made and will last a few years. My son used his K thru 3rd grade with no issues

I think I've been using the original backpack as my purse for nearly 30 years, and I have no intention of changing this habit. It's perfectly designed for my daily and travel needs. I used this one for the first time on a recent cruise and got several compliments on my "beautiful backpack."

Purchased for my nephew starting pre-k. Mom chose the digital camo and it's even better in person. The fit is perfect and will definitely last the test of time. Opted for the monogramming and just wrote his name out, which he loves!

Cute and well made. Fits my petite preschooler - a touch on the big side but we are hoping to use this for kindergarten later this year. Great price on Zappos too and she loves the flower pattern

Great backpack for my 5 yr old granddaughter. Saturday and roomy enough.

I bought cheap backpacks at the beginning of the school year and they didn't even make it until Thanksgiving. These are sturdy and can hold all of my child's books and Chromebook for school. I love that the water bottle pocket has higher sides than other backpacks since he has a taller water bottle.

I'm a teacher and also travel whenever I can, and I am devoted to bringing a backpack, and ONLY a backpack on trips. This one is perfect! I was insistent that it have a water bottle holder and two front pockets. Love it.
