I loved this and so did my 10 year old daughter! Plenty of room for all of her school supplies and safety for her chrome book! Will buy again for my littles!

My daughter loves her backpack! It was larger than we expected but great quality.

Originally bought one of these 20 some yrs ago for our daughter going to first grade. She used it thru high school and finally took it college. Today, we still use it to store emergency supplies. We just can't let it go. ((It has her initials on it.) Over the past 8 years we have purchased four more backpacks and matching lunch totes for our grandchildren. The youngest just received his last week and was so excited to show it off on the first day! The kiddos love that they can chose their own designs. Because of covid, the backpacks must carry everything they need during a normal school day, including their chromebook, because they cannot use their lockers in their school. I feel certain these backpacks will survive far longer than those purchased anywhere else. Thanks for a really great product!

this backpack is of good quality, is the right size and is very rugged. I buy a new one for each of my grandchildren every 2 years even though it isn't worn out!

As always, the L.L. Bean Backpacks do not disappoint. This one is just getting accustomed to its rough-and-tough second grader, but I have nothing but the highest hopes for its longevity.

The Deluxe Book Bag is everything we hoped for, it is very durable. My daughter really loves her bag and is enjoying it. She carries it to school everyday.

This is an excellent backpack for my 5th grader and the quality is top-notch! We look forward to many years with this backpack. My daughter picked the flower pattern and loves it and the embroidery.

My daughter loves the purple and blues in the back pack. It's a little big for what she needs right now, as she is only in the 3rd grade and isn't carrying a lot of notebooks or books yet, but it will last her for a while, when she does need the space.

Choosing your backpack is a big deal. Our grandchildren have each chosen an LL Bean backpack. They last for years! The design, durability and pattern options are outstanding. Thank you, LL Bean!

I got this for my 5th grader, and expect it to have a long life ahead of it. I've owned L. L. Bean backpacks for 20 years before getting rid of them, and the quality of this doesn't look any different.

Bought this for a friend who retired from public school teaching and then took another teaching job at a private school. She had been using a LLBean bag that her daughter had handled down to her! She loved it!

I bought this for my son who is in 7th grade. We upgraded to a larger backpack this year and the size of this pack is perfect. We really like that it has two water bottle holders instead of 1 and taht there are two smaller pockets. It was a bonus that there is a large extra pocket for additional folders. Luckily, the straps are padded so they don't dig into the shoulders when the pack is loaded. So far so good!

You just can't beat the quality of llbean backpacks. My kids are hard on them and they don't disappoint.

Got this backpack for my 12 year old daughter. It fits her perfectly. She can use it for school or for an overnight trip. Plenty of room and the side pockets are perfect for water bottles.

My 12 yr old 8th grade daughter was told AFTER we purchased this backpack that all students would NOT be assigned lockers this year. So glad I made sure to get an awesome looking, sturdy yet comfortable backpack to lug ALL school supplies around all day!

The first L.L. Bean book bags I purchased were for our daughters, back in the early 1990's. Now buying them for the grandkids. Every one I have purchased has lasted longer than we needed them. Purchased one for a freshman in high school and she carried it all through high school and college, and getting her Masters degree.. Right now, the oldest grandson is on year number 6 with his bag and lunchbox and it has had no repairs- carries them every day. My only advice is to purchase one that is not too "childish", as they will carry it for a long time. For the price, the quality is outstanding.
