Great back pack for my son to take to school daily. Plenty of room for all his stuff. The bag should last for years.

Granddaughter picked this out and loves it. She likes the fact that she is not like everyone else. It is designed by her for her. She still has an old one from 5 th grade and sometimes still uses it.

Kids love this book bag. Plenty of space and pockets to provide organization for all school supplies, easy to adjust the straps, straps stay in place, and waterproof have been the best benefits the kids have pointed out.

Perfect size for 4th grader grandson. He loves the blue color and the reflector that shows when it gets dark. He takes pride in being the only one with an Llbean book pack . He knows too that with the rainy season in Florida, his books are safe and dry in the deluxe book pack.

So far, so good. I had one of these deluxe bags when I was young and it lasted FOREVER! My friends got new backpacks every year but I had the same LL Bean until I got a job in high school. And I literally dragged that thing everywhere. So fingers crossed that quality hasn't gone down and that LL Bean still stands by their products.

I needed a waterproof backpack for our trip to Alaska in early August. This backpack was the perfect size and all the items inside stayed dry in the rainy weather.

The L.L.Bean backpack is amazingdurable, roomy, and super comfortable to wear. I love how many pockets it has, and the quality feels built to last. Perfect for school, travel, or everyday use!

Over the last 9 years, our kids have carried two different sizes of L.L. Bean backpacks, and we have always been happy with their quality. We just bought the deluxe size for our 6th grader (5' tall). Our 8th grader (5'10") has also carried the deluxe size for the last 2 years, and is now going into his 3rd year with it. The deluxe size currently works for both kids, without looking too big or too small. It comfortably fits their 2" binders with a lunch box and a few additional items. Over the years, we have never had any issues with zippers or straps. I love the clip for keeping house keys secure. Our kids enjoy all the different compartments. Having 2 exterior pockets is great. Our only complaint is that the mesh pockets tend to wear out and get small holes due to holding an 18-oz. water bottle daily. However, I think given how long we've had our bags and the frequency of use, that's pretty good. Our kids like the backpacks and were sure to pick out colors they'll be happy to carry for a long time!

Love all the storage and the computer sleeve! It's a large bookbag but it's not heavy- it's our 2nd one and we love this style!!
