This backpack is indestructible. bought it for my son when he was ten years old. He used it all the way through high school, four years of college and also medical school. Amazing. I bought the pre-school version for his son. We love llbean products.

I bought this for my 10 yr old. The bookbag is GREAT! It holds all of his things for school and still has plenty of room. I stand behind LL Bean. I ordered a bookbag for my 17 year old when he was in 3rd grade and he used it until 5th grade and then my daughter used it for about 3yrs after that.

Only had the backpack for a month or so, but my initial feelings are that it is a well made backpack.

I have 3 boys- 6th, 4th, and kindergarten. My oldest 2 have this style of bookbag. It is roomy, durable, and available in colors they liked. One had a black on with his name written in red block letters and my other son had a red one with his name written in grey. My oldest used it last year and you can barely tell it was used and my boys throw their stuff around and ride a bus so their bookbags are often on the floor. My youngest will be getting one in a few years!! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a roomy, durable bookbag. It's well worth the price!!!

My son used this backpack from 7th grade until his sophomore year in college. The original just finally starting to rip in different places because it was used so hard. He asked me to get him another one which we just did. I can't say enough about their backpacks- the are so reasonably priced with the best quality.

I purchased this backpack through my Presbyterian Church for an immigrant child. We wanted a quality backpack that would last a few years. We chose this color because it could be used by a boy or a girl. But mostly with a boy in mind. Immigrant girls, I have learned, prefer flowers and pastel shades. I once offered your darling dinosaur backpack to an immigrant mother of a preschool girl. Not good. Flowers preferred in spite of my spill that the dinosaurs might encourage her child to become a scientist. Flowers won out.

This backpack is super strong and lightweight, perfect for my 11 year old to schlep his school supplies to and from everyday.

This book pack deserves A+! I haven't heard so many raves as I have about this item. Since it was purchased as a gift for a deserving student, I am pleased to report that she is so surprised at how roomy it is and so comfortable to carry. You can't ask for better praise than that, so you've scored again on another great product. Thanks!

Bought this for my husband to use for overnight business trips. He loves it.

We used this bag almost daily when we went on vacation. It is great for carrying jackets, food, misc. It is light weight but seems to be well made. We will definitely be using this bag all the time.

I purchased this Deluxe model because I had the Super Deluxe before and it is a little too big for me. I wanted a little smaller than the Super Deluxe and the mesh pockets on the sides to put my water bottles. I had my initials monogrammed (in the same color as the bag) so I can ID my bag without having the contrasting colors staring at me. I am glad I waited because the previous version did not have the pockets on the side - which is a must for me. I like the fact that my liquid will be outside and not get anything else wet inside (either spilling or from condensation).

The LL Bean book bag that I've used for almost 3 decades, most recently as a gym bag, finally pooped out. I opted to replace it with the deluxe version, and it's a great gym bag! I love the various compartments, which are very practical for this purpose, but would obviously be great for travel and, yes, books! Fingers crossed that the quality is as good as the last one.

i bought this for the space and simplicity, i'm not regret, is perfect! my son is 7 years old and is enough for the book and for the sport stuff at once. very satisfied.

For my grandson. He loves the red color with his initials on the bag. Sturdy construction for an 8 year old. Water bottle holder is fantastic. Lots of room for all his stuff.

I bought two, one for my nephew who is starting high school and the other who is starting middle school. Great size for both boys and classic look is great for any age! The back pack is sturdy, with great pockets and zippers. Love the reflective strip and the price!

Purchased this backpack for my granddaughter who is in 5th grade. She chose the bag & color with initials. Very happy with our purchase when it arrived. Plenty of room for books & etc . We also purchased a lunchbag to match. Would recommend this backpack to others
