We have gotten L.L Bean backpacks before and love how well they hold up. This year, we went with the deluxe bag and love all the compartments.

Love the backpack. Has plenty of space. Great quality. Love the embroidered option. Would definitely purchase again!!

I had an LL Bean packpack when I was in college that seemed virtually indestructible. I came back to LL Bean to purchase one for my daughter to begin High School with. We needed a backpack with large capacity as her school does not have lockers (much to her disappointment). This fit the bill perfectly. It has ample space for her binders and notebooks and her Chromebook is secure. It also has the same organizer tools in the front pocket for writing implements, her house keys, small notebooks, extra face masks, etc. The side mesh pockets are large enough to hold her water bottle comfortably as well. Very pleased with our purchase and would recommend them to anyone!

I bought my son this backpack since he was starting high school and he told me his last backpack from LLBean was just too big for him. He said this one is large enough to hold everything he needs, but it is not too large. He said to give it 10 stars!

We bought this navy backpack six years ago as our oldest daughter started 7th grade. It took her all the way to HS graduation and is still going strong! Our youngest daughter just started HS and we ordered her the teal backpack with her monogram, just like sister's. These bags are more than school packs, they are memory makers and forever keepsakes. Thank you for making such an impeccable product for school and beyond! No amount of wear and tear matters. They old up. Period.

I have purchased this deluxe backpack for each of my three children for middle school and they lasted through high school and some through college!! I had them monogrammed and they look fabulous. They hike with them now! They were money well spent!! Soo durable!! I need one for myself!!

I purchased this backpack for my son to use when school starts. It is a very nice and sturdy looking and he likes it a lot. We will find out it's durability once school starts on Monday. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I am a law student, carrying a large number of books that are very thick & heavy. I bought this due to the need for a rugged sturdy option. It works very well for my purposes. Great deal of room and many compartments.

We bought two Deluxe Book Packs to use as our carry-ons for a recent trip. The Packs held up well to TSA inspections and were easily stored on the plane. Lots of room to pack clothes and personal items. Also kept most items dry when we were rained on. Also, loved the pocket for charging electronics. Highly recommend!

My high schooler loved the backpack. Good size. Sturdy.

My daughter just started middle school so I wanted to get her a 'real' backpack. She walks home from school and weather can be unpredictable. Yesterday she got caught in a downpour. Her umbrella failed, but not her backpack. She had just a bit of dampness in her backpack and only one paper that was unable to be saved. Not bad for a three block walk! It dried quickly too. It also looks just as good as it works! Would totally recommend this item.

Exceeded my grandson's expectations.

This is the same backpack I had for school (many many) years ago. I remember using the same one for 4 years and only getting a new one because I wanted a better color. Years later, I'm buying these for my kids and the quality hasn't changed. I hope they like the colors they picked cause these bags will last and last!

I buy five of these every summer to donate to students who need them. My choice was influenced by a young friend who has been using one of these throughout high school and now college. Clearly, they are made to last!

Every year all 5 of my boys had l.l. Bean backpacks. We love them. Once they get tried of them we wash them then donate them to the homeless.
