My son has used this backpack for 9 years. So far. It's going off to college with him in the fall.

Great backpack! Just as functional as I have had in the past. Replaced one from 2004. Looks like it will last for another 20 years. Thanks LLBean for a well made product!

So this wasn't a recent purchase.. My mother bought me this bag in 2000.. Yes, I said 2000... I carried it all through high school. I'm a nurse now and I carry this bag to work daily. Believe it or not, I've never had to repair this 22 year old bag either..lol It's more than paid for itself 10x over! Definitely recommend this bag 100%

A great and durable backpack with the exception of the side pockets, but believe the latest one we have purchased is made with more durable netting to hold the water bottles. Great size for a high school students full load of folders, books, etc.

I bought this for work. I wanted a backpack that could fit my laptop, lunch box, water bottle, notebooks & other odds & ends. Sure you could use any bag for these things but most backpacks can be a pain. I wanted the main zipper part to open really wide so I didn't have to struggle to put my laptop & oversized lunch box in. I also didn't want that velcro strap to secure my laptop. Seems like a simple & small wish list & it is if you to spend $100. I remembered getting my kids LLBean bags when they were in school & they loved them. So I figured I'd check & see if anything spoke to me & this one nailed it. I love it! Straps are little stiff but I'm sure with time they'll break in. I love the color & I love the price. It's sturdy & very well made. You can never go wrong with an LL Bean purchase!!

Absolutely love it. The bag is super durable and holds all my tech and books for nursing school.

Well made and a great size. Ove been able to fot my lunchbox and bottle inside no problem. I ise it everyday.

I got this book bag for my 7th grader. He needed a good book bag to carry heavy books and still have room for his lunchbox. I had a LL Bean bag when I was younger so I knew they were great and after all these years (20+) these book bags are still awesome!

Great backpack that will last from elementary to college!

I got my kids this bag late 1990's. One was replaced under the lifetime warranty. Got my husband one about 15 years ago and we use it as a carryon. Just got myself one because of all our positive experiences. Durable, pockets and holds up.

I purchased this one as a replacement backpack for my boyfriend; he's really hard on backpacks but I got him this backpack and it lasted him 15 years!! I had purchased one of these for my daughter 21 years ago, she still uses it and it's still in great shape!! The only difference I noticed on this new one I purchased is the embroidering of his name was smaller than the old ones, otherwise it's the same great backpack that we know and love!

Purchased tis bag for a trip. Worked great as a carryon on the plane.

We've had our original deluxe backpack for a little under or right at a year. We started to have some issues with it which made it faulty/difficult to use. Without hesitation, after contacting customer service they explained their policy and process. I ordered a replacement and received it within a couple days. I sent our original one back that was giving us a hard time and very quickly received a full refund. I love that the pricing is consistent (over time) and the quality of our 2nd deluxe backpack seems even better than the first one. Families can already be stressed enough and I can confirm this did not add to it! The process was smooth (seamless I'd say), helpful, and the product is exceptional.

My son loves his backpack. It's plenty roomy for his notebooks, computer, charger, and jacket.

This is the third backpack exactly like this I've had in the past 25 years. They have all lasted 8 or 9 years and worked fine the entire time. Only replaced them as they started to look a little worn as I use them all the time. They are perfect for traveling and you can get a lot in them in separate spaces. Just returned from a trip to Japan with the new one and it was perfect for my travels.

We purchased this backpack because our previous LLBean backpack was in 2014. The backpacks lasted 11 years. Such high quality.
