Cute backpack! Love the number of pockets and organizing tools. Would love a chest clip to keep the straps up tight!

Great backpack overall. Unfortunately there is a design defect with zipper placement. Over 1 week of light use, the internal pocket zipper has worn a cosmetic defect/hole in the reflective strip caused by its zipper placement. When backpack is even partially filled, the zipper hardware presses against reflective strip and wears away at the material.

Embroidery of name was so small. I read one of the reviews and it said that. Why have you changed the size of the lettering. I brought this for my 4 year old granddaughter and she could see her name because it was so small. Please increase the size of the names on your back packs. Bag is nice just the embroidery too small.

Great little backpack, surprised to see that for the price they're selling it for it's not made here in the US. Well made and would buy again but it is certainly overpriced

Great quality and size for my PreK son. Color as expected. Only reason this isn't 5 star is that the embroidered initials are completely off center and look ridiculous with the placement.

I love the size of this backpack- perfect for preK! I will say the violet/little purple color is kind of transparent. Not like the material from LL Bean backpacks bought in the past. We will see how it holds up.

The block letters look great (only caps available). The color was as expected and I also purchased a matching lunchbox. My nephew loved this as a gift. This brings back fond memories from my childhood when I had a deluxe eggplant colored L.L. Bean backpack.

Very well made, but the flap covering the zipper is stiff and makes it hard to unzip. Hoping the fabric will loosen up with use.

Quality great kind of too small to carry everything lunch jacket snacks in the bag. Please make one with chest strap.

Love the size, and style of the backpack! It seems like it will hold up very well too! Only thing I don't like is the zipperit gets trapped repeatedly under the material that covers it making it some difficult to open and close. Maybe it will get easier after some more use? Other than that I do like the bag!

We love this backpack, love all the compartments, it's very sturdy, the only issue is the straps are very thick and both my child say it hurts their neck. I'm hoping as they use it more it is less stiff on the straps. Everything else we love.

The bag is great! My only concern was about the color of the embroidery. I had my child's initial embroidered in light pink and it just looks grey.

Great size for my 4 year old son. I bought an LL Bean lunchbox and it fits inside nicely. Love the blue color. Very happy with our purchase!

Perfect size for my 5 year old & the quality is great. Downside is that a 1 " binder barely fits in the book bag with the zipper eating up the side. This would have been perfect for daycare. We will use it the remainder of the year, but will definitely upsize in the future. PS my 5 year old recommends a chest strap to be added.

I would have given this a 5 but the cup holder ripped and we had only had it ~1 month (exchanging now for a new one). Other than that it is the perfect size for my son and fits a good amount of stuff including his lunch box, extra clothes and art projects.

I ordered this for my preschool granddaughter. The book pack is excellent quality as expected. The monogram, however, is not the best. My daughter said that it looks like the fabric was not flat when the monogram was done. Not worth returning, as my granddaughter loves it, but I would expect better quality from LL Bean.

This little old lady finds it to be just the right size. The "LLBean" labeled compartment has an attached lead with a clip at its end for anchoring keys, purse etc., i.e. items that must not be lost.

This is my 19 mo old Great-Granddaughter's first book bag/diaper bag. Her dad had a yellow one that he used for a very long time when he was little (as a diaper bag and later it went to school, day trips, etc.) and it had a little raccoon embroidered on it. For this one, I was disappointed in the choice of colors - nothing looked feminine for our little girl, and we could get a name embroidered, but there were no critters to choose from. That said, it is the same high quality we always expect and receive from LLB, and I know that if anything goes wrong with it (for example, a zipper) we can depend on you to fix it. Thank you!

Only giving 4 stars because I had hoped it would be a little smaller. Bought these for my twin boys who are just two years old. The back packs are a little big for them, but not for long. They are great quality and really classic and perfect.

A little tricky for little ones to open and close the zipper, but in all - great bag!

Why is this book bag in pink and basically purple? My daughter has the pink and I've been looking for more masculine or gender neutral colors for 2 years! It is well made and a perfect size but my two sons need backpacks and they don't want pink or purplish blue!

We purchased this bookbag for my preschooler. It is the perfect size and has easy to open pockets. The material seems sturdy and color was true to picture. I think we'll get a few years use from this!
