Bought these shoes based on the feel from the store. Unfortunately, the midsole compresses very differently than it feels originally and doesn't support the arches properly. Too many misses with Salomon, Glad I found the on brand to replace them.

Been wearing SA Pros since they came out. Also have the X Ultra. Both great shoes. Pulsars not so much. Footbed is lumpy which creates hot spots. The lace pouch is located too far down the tongue and laces overlap making it difficult to tuck the lace away. My other Salomon's don't have that problem.

Salomon shoes have become narrower over the past few years. All their shoes are too narrow now, I don't know why they aren't doing a wider version of this shoe. Don't buy this unless you have narrow feet.

Salomon makes some great shoes, but all of them are too narrow. Wish these came in 2e like the under glides. Those are the width of a normal D. If only these had that option

While I found the Pulsar Trail shoes to be attractive, comfortable, and effective performers on the trail, I am disappointed that they are visibly delaminating at ~50 miles of use. I have at least 7 different pairs of trail shoes from Salomon at the moment, and my Sense Ride's are the only other ones with similar low-durability issues. I am very disappointed, because I really wanted to love these shoes.

Disappointed, narrow tight toebox. Was hoping it would have been similar to ultra glide toebox. Ultra glide is my current go to shoe ,on my 5th pair.

"I had these shoes for no more than 1 1/2 months, using them for less than 3 miles twice a week. I had to walk or jog to the trail 0.6 miles on the pavement and run a short single 2-mile trail. What a surprise when I see the tread of the sole of the shoe gone. The design and cushioning are great, but the sole material is cheap or of bad quality. It's crazy that short runs wore off the sole of this shoe. Very disappointing."

Bought the shoes thinking they would make a great pair for moderate trails. Upper felt comfortable at first but by the 200km the lugs at the front right were almost completely gone and the shoes were slipping all over the trails. The left shoe seems to be wonky now (the sole) and rolls inwards on runs. The upper on the same shoe is also showing signs of abnormal wear. I persevered to 270km with the shoes including some hiking as I didn't feel comfortable running in them anymore but they are not even good for hiking now as there is zero grip and the inwards rolling of the shoe is very annoying. I've owned many pairs of Salomon shoes over the years and these are by far the worst! I find it unacceptable that a supposedly premium brand produced such a poor quality shoe. To make matters worse it seems that Salomon isn't even accepting that this quality isn't acceptable. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Toe box too large for me but the shoe seems great other than the large tie box.
