I've used the Pulsar trails in 2 longish runs in technical trails. The fit of the shoe felt very familiar to me as I was using sense rides and ultra glides. The size felt true and comfortable with enough room for foot swelling. It felt like a glove. I immediately noticed the max cushion and before the run I knew that it was going to do job for a long run as far as cushion is concerned. On the technical uphill run or power hike, it took me a few minutes to get used to the feeling of the blade but then it clicked and I could feel it working to my advantage. On the downhill, the grip of the shoe was great, but what I noticed most was how helpful the shoe was in keeping me balanced through the more technical sections of the trail. The ankle felt strong and supported on the more loose rocks or roots in the trail and the shoe somehow kept getting rocking back into position during these sections.
I highly recommend these shoes.

I really liked the shoe for the first 200km or so, but shortly after taking the insoles out to dry the shoe after a wet run I found the insole on my left foot refused to stay in place. Now I have to glue the insole back in place otherwise it slips up the back of my heel. I was planning on using these for an upcoming race because I'd had great luck with the Sense Pro 4, but these haven't been as good.

I have taken this shoe out on a few technical mountain runs in Colorado and I am thrilled with the performance of this shoe. I have often thought that plated shoes on the trails were a gimmicky attempt to replicate what Nike did on the roads. No longer, the three pronged plate approach adds an energy and stiffness to the shoe without sacrificing flexibility laterally and medially when moving fast on technical trails. These shoes are indicative of the future of trail running!

Comfortable shoe but the sole is 90% gone in the forefoot after 70 days of average use. Salomon won't honor warranty stating "normal wear and tear" and "shoe not intended for daily wear".

Bought these for a trip to Mexico where we went up a steep rocky mountain the real test was really coming down.... I was surprised on how well they grabbed especially on wet rock .... Don't know how durable they are .... but that one trip going up that mountain payed for themselves, kept me from getting hurt.... comfortable out of the box, no breaking in for me.... These made me a salamon fan...just bought some more.... Thank you Salomon....

I bought these over a month ago wearing them on trail and pavement walk of between 5 and 7 miles daily. These fit like a glove on 1st wear. They are very breathable, comfortable and stable. I've always been partial to ASICS but these are the best shoes I've had for my walks on different terrain and I did not need to put inserts in either. Very happy with these bought 2 more pairs.

I have plantar issues and this shoe was great from the first time I wore them. I will add that they are mostly a warm weather shoe as they breath really well

I bought this trailshoe about a month ago and I absolutely love it. I have worn it on a variety of trails in every condition frommud to snow and it does very well in all. I might order a second pair just to keep for the future.

I've only wore them a few times but they are very good fitting and super lite. Not too mention getting them on an Uber sale for 56 bucks. Maybe not as good as my wing xt's though.

Done a few runs in this shoe so far. Good fit. Very responsive and comfortable, felt like running in my favorite road shoes on a soggy crushed limestone trail!

Nice shoe. Comfortable. Interesting/different support on the heal. My only issue is that the lace is very difficult to stow away.

I work in healthcare and I'm always on my feet. This shoe meets my needs. Super comfortable and great fit. I've worn Salomon's for years and always have never been disappointed. Consistent good quality and fit. Liked these shoes so much I bought a second pair for after work and weekend wear.

I use the Pulsars for outdoor work, lots of outdoor activity, and my first pair is still holding up fine, so much so that I ordered another identical pair for the coming year.

Longtime buyer of Speedcross 3-6 over the years. These offer way more cushioning, albeit not the aggressive traction, but these are perfect for walks and working out. So far durability is good.

This is my first trail running shoe from Salomon. I have other road running shoes from New Balance and Saucony. I must say that this is probably the most comfortable running shoe that I have ever tried. The misdole is just right not too soft, but not hard as well.

I have worn these shoes for 7 or 8 walks of 3.5 - 4 miles, road and trail. I haven't been able to run in them yet since I pulled my hamstring and hurt my knee a couple of months ago. These shoes are comfortable to walk in and seem to be holding up well. Better grip on loose uneven terrain than I have experienced with other running shoes. I have had issues with blistering previously, predominantly along the transverse arch and specifically the mid met area. No such issues with these Pulsar Trails. Very pleased with the purchase thus far.

I run 6 miles, 3 times a week. These shoes are perfect for both moderate trails and asphalt. They are comfortable and give good support. I use the insoles that came with them but they are easily switched you want to use custom insoles. I've been using these shoes for a little over 1 month.
