Very comfortable, easy to wear and, for me, perfect for my needs. I needed 3 secure outside pockets to carry plastic bags to handle my dog's early droppings(ugh) as we walked through our neighborhood. Atlanta does get very cold/windy in the early mornings during Winter. I had not been able to locate this perfect jacket: it is not cumbersome and I do not have to layer many sweaters and I can carry keys safely in the fourth inside pocket. It is very lightweight-I can roll it up and carry over my shoulder. Very happy to have discovered this item

I have always worn the classic puffy jackets and was hesitant about the new lightweight jacket. Was pleasantly surprised how nicely it fit. When I tested it in the cold, I was amazed how warm the lightweight jacket was.

With this jacket, you need to exercise enough to generate body warmth, which the jacket material then holds in your body heat to keep you warm. It is incredibly light weight for its warmth. In using it , I have found that I can overheat and need to unzip a little at temperatures in the 20s. This is particularly true when nordic skiing. At lower temperatures I find I need a light sweater under the jacket particularly if I am simply walking about. The jacket is stylish compared to most winter coats. With hindsight I should have ordered one with a hood but as there was no way to keep hood out of the way I chose without. Love the jacket. It has become my "go-to" jacket

The fit is perfect for my frame. I am ~5 ft, 115 lbs. I purchased a petite small. I first bought the hooded Packaway jacket but wasn't pleased with the look. So I returned it. I am very happy with the newer, warmer Packaway, as it is a bit longer than the original. However, both this newer version and the original are great. I wear them most winter days. Seldom wear my bulky winter jacket.

I needed a jacket for an upcoming trip to Myanmar and I saw this one on a flyer that came in the box of another item I ordered online. I loved the silver color with yellow accents, so went online to order it. Here are some highlights of this jackey: * The fit is true to size. I layered a tee shirt and a hoodie under it and it still fit well. * The jacket compacts into its own pocket, very small, that takes up very little room in my backpack. * It doubles as a pillow in an airplane, when tucked into its pocket. * Perfect for cool mornings and evenings. * It is very light in weight, yet very warm. I highly recommend this jacket!

This is so lightweight, comfortable, pretty (I got the teal color) and surprisingly warm. I get many compliments.

I bought this jacket a week ago and I have barely taken it off. It is warm, lightweight, I LOVE the color (I purchased the dark marine blue and get compliments on it every time I wear it), and it's a great layering piece. I skin, hike, and ski a lot and will wear this piece often. Over things I like... the fabric has a really nice slight sheen to it, which I love because it makes it a little bit dressier when the occasion arises. It's also a great length-a slightly longer piece, which makes it even more functional for me. Love his jacket!!

I needed a good coat for my winter trip to NYC and decided with this one. When I received it, I didn't think it would be warm enough for the predicted storm to arrive during my trip. I was wrong! I was able to wear multiple layers underneath, have even tried a bulky sweater and still had plenty of room to move. Was able to stay dry in the wet conditions and have continued to use it in my own state with our "version" of winter. I also love the fact that it can be compacted into the pocket for traveling. Super happy with purchase!!

I LOVE this jacket! I live in Michigan's UP so it gets bitter cold here. This jacket is not for the dead of winter, but for spring and fall this is my go to jacket. It has pockets galore and the fit is loose and comfortable. I can zip it up and still bend over. My first jacket like this I still have and is still useable as a garden jacket at 6 years old. I'm not a hood person, so love there is no hood to contend with. Never stop making this jacket. (I did buy the fleece lined jacket and coat like this but they also are not for the bitter cold. I'd say wearable to 35 degrees.)

this jacket is so light. hope it has some warmth.

I haven't actually had the opportunity to wear it yet. I bought it thinking it would be heavier and warmer.

It is a bit thinner than I expected but still has the level of warmth I need. I can keep it in my car for those times when the temperature drops or I am in the grocery store where I frequently get chilled.

My "pink" jacket arrived today except it wasn't pink, a weird light mauve is as close as I can come. I ordered a PXL as I am 4'9" so jackets are long on me. Not this jacket, it just about covers my butt. I ordered XL as I will be doing a lot of layering. I hope this jacket is as warm and windproof as advertised, if I had ordered my usual size I would be returning it. On the plus side it arrived in a brown paper bag and was so light I couldn't believe it held a jacket. I wore it for about five minutes and I was toasty warm, I love the big zippered inside pocket, great for a passport, money, lipstick, comb plus. The two outside pockets will make good hand warmers. Because I bought it for its practicality and not its looks it's definitely a keeper

This is a great jacket but it runs large- a bit boxy so you may wish to size down. This is my go to jacket in all seasons.

I bought this as a mid layer jacket or for cool days. The quality was great but the Large fit wasn't good for my shape. The large fit in the bottom of the jacket but left the top very loose. Medium fit in the top but wouldn't meet at the bottom. I'm pear shape - usually a medium.

This is a great jacket with a nice fit, and the price is so much more reasonable than the down jacket.

Gorgeous blue color, soft and just the right weight for cold weather either on its own or on top of layers. I wear it all the time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the temperamental zipper which is fussy and doesn't match the quality and price of the jacket.

I purchased this on sale and have been more pleased than I expected, based on earlier reviews. It is surprisingly warm given how thin it is, especially with a fleece layer underneath. I ordered a size larger , anticipating a need to layer. I'm giving only 4 stars because like many other reviewers, I would have preferred more insulation. The color is very attractive and I love that it packs into a pocket. I haven't yet had it out in a drizzle.

I loved the coat! It was so soft and cozy and I'm sure it would be warm. I wanted to love it and was looking forward to wearing it. I love L.L.Bean clothes and Medium size usually fits me well in other items, but this jacket was way too small. I was so disappointed.

Great jacket! The only thing that would make it excellent is a two-way zipper.

Typically I wear a Med in nearly everything. However, I am exchanging the Med for a Large to have enough room for a light weight sweater underneath. Looking forward to using it as a spring/fall jacket.

Ordered marine blue in petite small, beautiful color however runs big, length and through the shoulders. Had to return, not a true petite fit! For reference 5'3, 110lbs

It was a nice jacket but the size wasn't right for me - the medium would have been snug with a sweater underneath but going up a size would have been too big. Was sorry to return it.

Jacket is lightweight and fits well. I wish it had a little elastic panel to allow a little stretch around the busy line, Esp when wearing heavy layers. Not warm enough for winter wear once temps dip below 30. I have it in black and it's good for weekend, soccer field, or a night out.
