Love the jacket, but would like an inside pocket. The lining is very warm and cozy, but shirt sleeves tend to get stuck on the fleece. I didn't think I'd like the closer fit, but it's fine and helps keep me warmer. Wanted to give this a five - it was close, maybe a 4.5.

My daughter picked this jacket and really likes it. BUT, we were both surprised to find out it doesn't have any inside pockets. We ski and are outside a lot, so we know having an inside pocket is really useful. All our other LLBean winter jackets have had an inside zippered pocket. I know an inside pocket is not listed as a feature of this; I guess I expected one from an outdoorsy retailer.

Nice and warm. Fits well. Down leaks out. Nice color. Good zipper. Fuzzy lining makes it a little hard to put on as inner garment sleeves get stuck

As typical with many LLB coats, this one is tight in the arms and chest. By measurement chart, I should be a SM. This jacket is fine if I wear a regular tshirt underneath, however, with any layering it feels restrictive. I cannot go up in size because then body is too bulky (these jackets are "puffy" enough!). This being said, I still really like this jacket for its warmth and protection. Lining is soft and warm. The fleece in the arms can pull on material, but it does add to the warmth factor. It is perfect for cold days where you do not have to layer. I did not like this years selection of colors and found a beautiful stone blue combination through another retailer who sells LLB.

The jacket is a good fit but I had to go up a size. It's comfortably warm with room for a fleece layer inside if needed. My only disappointment would be the sleeves. When I put on the jacket, the sleeve lining shows outside so that I have to tuck it in at the wrist. Also, a tighter fit at the wrist is preferable.

I bought this coat to take to Switzerland on a business trip. I'm glad I read the reviews that said to size up. If you have on several layers it can still be a little snug. But overall warm and has held up well to travel.

Jacket is a nice warm coat and lightweight at the same time. Navy/deep pink is gorgeous. The armpits were a little snug with a thick fleece underneath. Would be fine with a thinner layer. The arms were lined with nice slick material where I was easily able to slide my sleeves through. I love the longer tail for coverage if wearing leggings. Love the fleece body lining that is also in the back of the neck area. I did return this coat as I discovered I find hoods to be irritating. I exchanged for the non-hood version.

The jacket is very stylish and warm! Love the color blocking and fit, except the sleeves are too long and big even in petite size.

Cool colors. Wind resistant. Does not have much stretch at all. If you're between sizes size up.

Beautiful jacket. I am 5ft and ordered a medium petite. It fits perfectly and is super comfortable. Easy to move around in and very warm.

Nice jacket for moderately cold days. Not sure this would be warm enough for temps below the mid 20's as I have a thicker jacket for that and didn't try it. REALLY wish it had an inside pocket for my phone, though!

Runs small compared to other LLBean jackets, I had to go a size up from my usual. Otherwise it's cute and warm. My only minor complaints are that the fleece lining sticks to whatever layer I have underneath when putting it on and the inner lining also pokes out the cuffs a bit unless you tuck it back in.

It's a comfortable, warm coat that seems pretty durable. The only I thing I don't like is the lack of interior pockets and chest pocket. I have my hands in and out of the pockets frequently and would have appreciated a secure interior location so I don't lose things accidentally while doing so. Otherwise I love this coat.

Like the jacket. Should've gotten a smaller size, but can definitely add multiple layers. Love the color. Well made. The one flaw is the fleece material used on inside. Pulls or hangs up every fabric. Have to do a lot of adjusting. Not the end of the world, but it is annoying.

I bought this coat for my daughter when I went to LL Bean looking for winter coats for my kids. I did look in the kid's section for winter coats, but none of the options for girls were all that attractive. I bought an XXS petite. She usually wears a size 12 in girls. It fits her well, and I think it may be big enough for two winters. When she first wore it, our dog jumped up on her to greet her when we arrived home, and unfortunately, it ripped. Other than that, it keeps her warm in our cold CNY winters.

While I do love the color block and style of this coat I was expecting a heavier coat and better quality. Not as warm and heavy as I expected. Also seems to run small, I usually take a large and had to return for an extra large and still fits snug. With the larger size there would be no room for more layers underneath.

I absolutely love the colors, design, and comfort if this coat! But the 1X seems to run smaller than what I'm used to when I buy plus size.

I liked this jacket, and I would have kept it if it had a different lining. The lining is cloth instead of nylon. The cloth grabbed the sleeves of my shirt when I put it on, and it became a nuisance having to tug my sleeves in place every time I wore it. Otherwise, it was a very nice jacket, pretty color and style.

So nice and warm! Love the moisture wicking aspect and hood. Only concern was a little tight in the upper arms/shoulders, but I tend to have issues in these areas.

Size runs a little small. There is fleece at the top of the body of the jacket, makes the coat really warm, but causes clothes to bunch a little at shoulder. Fleece attracts lint and any down that escapes the lining. Inside of my jacket looks like I have body dandruff. Not my favorite feature.

Was a little tight with a sweater on. Loved the color and the fleece inside.

Love the color of this jacket; I have the blue/orange/mustard and it's so cute. It's warmer than I expected too. Two things could make this jacket perfect: An interior zippered pocket for a small wallet, and knit cuffs. While the exterior pockets are roomy, more stuff means added bulk in that area. The cuffs as they exist are not the best. The inner lining keeps sticking out, and having a thicker ribbed cuff would help keep the cold out. Besides that, really love this jacket. I normally wear a S in LLB clothes, but had to order a M because I have a large bust. Plenty of room for a sweater.

I was very excited to receive this coat, and am sad to have to return it. Color and style are great. All too often Plus size fashions come in just 1 option: black and boxy. I loved that this came in both solids and colorblock options. The chest, arms, and shoulders fit GREAT! The sleeve length was good. I'm very short (4'11"), so often sleeves are way too long, but these sleeves were just a *little* long on me, and the elastic at the cuffs kept the edges up at my wrists, so it wasn't a problem. The problem for me was the fit at the hem. I could zip the coat up if I held it up around my waist, then closed it, and tugged it down into place on my hips. It fit, but it *just* fit. If I were to lean over, or reach for something off a shelf, it would pull up and stay up, so I'd be constantly pulling it back down. Just a little more ease at the hem, and this would have been great. For reference I'm 4'11", 230, 48 bust, 45 waist, 56 hips.
