Good coat kept me warm in -5 degree weather with windchill. It is water proof and windproof as advertised. The only thing I dislike about this coat is there isn't an interior pocket to keep a cellphone or wallet, I have yet to understand why most women's coats don't have interior pockets.

Glad i purchased. Warm. Only reason i didn't give a 5 is the feathers come out a lot and the inside material by the wrists comes out when i put it in.

this jacket is warm and not too puffy. fits well. I gave it a 4 because I constantly have feathers coming out! the back of my car seat is covered with little feathers!

I ordered a Petite Small and it was too small. I tried to order Petite Medium and it was sold out. I ordered a regular small and the sleeve and shoulders were too large for me. I returned both. The blue color was very nice.

I bought this a month ago and have been very happy with it. It is warm enough for all but the colder days, is fairly light-weight, and the zipper (one -way only) works well. It seems to fit true to size: I am 5'3" and 130# and the medium petite is fits fine. The only flaw I found is that there are only the two exterior pockets; one additional inside pocket would have been better.

I like this jacket a lot. The colors are great. It's warm but not bulky. Probably size up if you want to wear a heavy sweater or layers. I do notice a feather here and there every time I wear it but nothing major.

Love the colors and weight of this jacket. The hood is a great feature for wind and precipitation.

Glad I had this jacket when the nor'easter blizzard hit 2 days ago! It's very warm, with good length, but unfortunately, it's missing the higher quality I'm used to from prior Beans jackets. The sleeve lining is too loose and comes out of the arms every time I take it off, so it's hard to put back on until I put the sleeves back in place! Also miss the feature of thumb holes on the sleeve cuffs which helps to keep gloves and mittens secured.

Had to size up because it was too snug with heavier clothing underneath

Inside fabric of coat (liner) feels cheap. Order a size larger, mine was a bit small.

It's beautiful looking jacket love the color block it's was very hard for me to return just was not going to workout after realizing i need it for traveling it's not long enough need pockets so one thing i wish they have pockets inside.

I have another small L.L. Bean hooded down jacket that fits perfectly, although it's a tiny bit tight under the arms. I bought this jacket for a slightly heavier option. This one in size small is uncomfortably tight under the arms and unflattering across the mid chest area on me. The interior fleece is a great feature, but it seems like this adds bulk and fabric resistance that make the jacket just a little too tight and that cause it to bunch, because the fleece doesn't allow under layers to slide past it easily. Too bad, because the jacket is beautiful and seems warm and well-made, but it just didn't fit me right.

I really like this jacket, it's very warm, the hood works great. The only thing that is not so good is the sleeves are a bit tight, so if wearing a thick sweater, it can be hard to get the jacket on because the sleeves need to be just and inch or two wider. I will keep it. Because it is otherwise very nice, and what I was looking for.

Fit perfect once I sized down 1 size. Love the hood, back is longer than front, which is great. It's a little bulky, so I cannot wear it over a sweater or sweatshirt.

Nice jacket! It fits well, it's comfortable, and it's pretty warm. My only disappointment is that there is no chest pocket, either inside or out, for my phone.

Perfect fit. Bought this and the matching vest. Can't wait for the cooler weather. Seems like high Bean quality.

Great fit with eye-popping colors! I would have given a 5 star if the hood was detachable, but I love the jacket, and it was on sale, so I will happily wear.

I really like this coat and have gotten several compliments on it. It's warm and comfortable. I have one complaint though. The interior sleeve lining is too long causing it to exit the hand opening when putting it on. I then have to tuck it back in, it's really obvious because the sleeve is the yellow/gold color, and the lining is navy, it just looks sloppy it I don't take the time to tuck it back in. Maybe there's a reason for the extra sleeve lining I have realized yet. Other than that - great coat.

This is a great jacket. It's warm and comfortable. The lining does catch on some fabrics but I wear this jacket for casual dress so that isn't a big deal for me. The one complaint I have is the hood. If I wear my hair up then the hood catches and is uncomfortable. If I could remove it when needed this would take the jacket from 4* to 5*.

Beautiful jacket but runs a little small. It is warm and wind proof.

I usually wear 3/4 length jackets but liked the color combo of this shorter one. Glad I ordered it! Positive features: warm, zips up at neck so you don't need a scarf to block the wind, light weight and zippered outside pockets. To make the jacket perfect it should have a 2 way zipper and an inside pocket.

Comfy and warm but not hot. Colors go well together and are trendy and stylish.

Love this coat. It fits great. Arm length is just right. I just wish it had inside pockets.
