I love the style but it's a bit snug. I usually wear an XL however. The color and fleece lining are great.

I loved the shirt when I bought it, unfortunately, the fit is not what I would have expected. Had to return.

The positives: very good workmanship, solid zipper with extra fabric to prevent wind seepage. The downsides: I got an XS but the fit is far too big: no XXS is offered. I'm 5'5" 118, slim through the torso. I wanted to wear this over turtlenecks. Instead, I am wearing it over fleece jackets. Also, I did not realize that the lining would be white, same fabric as the collar. The lining picks up every piece of lint, hair, etc.

The photos of the models wearing the jacket make it appear to cover to about mid-thigh. The jacket is more of a bomber length to the waist.

Worn it for about 3 weeks. But it looks like I have for 3 months. Pilling already in lining. Never liked plastic zippers. Ll Bean used to use metal ones. Times have changed. But quality should not.

Fit well but is very thin not going to be very warm. More of an inside vest.

I have ordered multiple older items of the same type and this newer vest runs on the small side.

Petite Small was snug and the sleeve openings felt too tight, even when worn with the suggested mid-weight layer. On the other hand, Petite Medium was too large. Both were returned; I need something in between! I do love the Vintage Lavender color but in my opinion charcoal - or even vintage lavender - would be a better color choice than blue for the lining.

A nicely made & good looking useful vest that I like but it does run probably two sizes small. I usually buy XS or small but on reading the reviews purchased a medium; that just fits over a thin sweater.

I purchased this vest in size Petite Large. I am 4'10", 135 lbs, bust 40. It fit perfectly.

I love the design and cut of this vest, but the arm holes are quite small considering it is designed to be worn over layers. I returned the vest. I did not order the next size up because I feel the body of the vest would then be too baggy on me.

I liked the vest. But the color was not what I expected. I did not like it at all and returned it.

I knocked off two stars because this vest runs quite small. I ordered a size up from what I actually wear so the vest would easily and comfortably fit over my clothes. However, it is none too big. I can't zip it up and still bend and move comfortably. It's fine unzipped but defeats the purpose some. Buyers just know this runs quite small!

I like the appearance and warmth; however, the neck is a bit too stiff and high and pokes me in the chin, so I can't wear it fully zipped up. If it were lower or softer, I'd up the rating.

This is a great looking vest. I like the fit. HOWEVER, the Primaloft lining (Black) sheds onto everything underneath (tee-shirt or crew shirt) as well as my under garments. I have to clean these other garments with a lint-remover brush. Very annoying. However, I love the vest otherwise. I have been surprised that none of the other Reviews mention this shedding.

Beautiful vest. Well made, nice lining. Pretty color. But the fit was awful. The worst. Tight in chest and hips. Big arm holes. Gross.

Pretty vest and very lightweight. Unfortuntely it was way too small. I generally wear either an extra large or a 1x. I would need at least a 2x in this vest. Looking on line.

I got this vest in vintage lavender as a Christmas gift. As much as I loved the color, I returned it because it is so thin. Plus the collar is navy blue and it is seen when not zipped all the way. For the price, I am very disappointed with the quality.

Very attractive, but it is not the right size. We used all of her other coats and used your sizing methodology. A petite small is too small. How do we make an exchange?

I received it as a Christmas gift, gorgeous color and great fit but unfortunately is going back because it is so thin, hardly anything lining it. Very pricey for what it is and if it's even 40 outside, this vest won't do much for you. LL Bean, please make this vest be worth $99 because the way it is, I wouldn't want to pay even 40. And please change the color of the lining to be similar in color with the vest.

Perfect fit for me but, alas, not warm enough. I would love this vest to be lined in 300 fleece polartec.

Too loose fitting around the body. I will order a size down.

I had to return this vest . I wouldn't say the fit was large , but it felt very bulky on . The collar was also very stiff and ill fitting . I am usually looking for clothing this time of year that provides warmth plus lightness for hiking. Appeared to be well made though .

I returned this vest because of the unpleasantly high collar, even though I have a long neck. It just didn't feel right. Otherwise the cut was well fitting.

I love this vest. I ordered the same size as the 4 LlBean vests I already have and was disappointed that this one was too small. I really wish sizes would remain the same. I returned for exchange to next size larger (hopefully as I really like the burgandy color).
