For me, this vest fits perfectly. I bought a Large and my waist measurement is 38 inches. I hope this may help, because I can zip it nicely. Too bad I live in a climate where I will seldom have a chance to wear it, but want it for northern trips in the RV.

After having the exchanged size the vest fits perfectly so I am very happy and the fleece lined material is quite nice and warm. This will be my go to vest in late fall early winter this year.

I bought this vest in black. I like the stretch side panels. It machine washes and dries well.

Fits perfectly. Comfortable and not heavy. Just right for those in between weather days.

This vest is lightweight and yet warm. It pairs well with a light or heavy sweater, it packed well while traveling light flying. Washes well and I prefer to hang to dry. I will most likely get another one since it wears and washes so well.

I purchased the brown version and it goes well with jeans and quite a few other colors. It is a very neutral brown that can pair well with others. This is a mid-weight vest, warm but not for deeply cold weather. Size was accurate and the vest is very comfortable.

This vest is the answer to what I have wanted for awhile.Tired of the heavy coat whille running erronds. Need something more than a light jacket. Not interested in a hood. I was delighted to wear this vest and discover the freedom of not being over heated in stores or frozen in parking lots. It is the answer to so many issues... and styllish too. No sad boxy silouette, just enough curve to compliment. I love it.

I hadn't planned on buying a vest when I was in the LL Bean store but...It is flattering, fits well, and is warm. I bought this vest in the teal & brown. The burgundy was out-of-stock, otherwise I would have bought that one too! I hope LL Bean offers this vest again next year in more colors.

This vest is thoughtfully designed, well-made and comfortable. Zipper pockets are large enough for a max-size iPhone. Armholes are nicely finished, fit is feminine without being boxy. The embroidered logo looks much nicer than the more prominent printed or sewn on patches that LL Bean applies to some of their other outerwear. In winter, when our thermostat is set at 68 degrees, I like to wear this vest over a turtleneck for extra core warmth.

When the vest first arrived, I at first felt it was too thin to be warm. But after a year of wearing it, it's now my go-to for any outfit in the winter. I throw it over any outfit at work if I'm cold, or add it as an extra layer under another coat. Since it's not bulky, it's perfect to keep on in a cold building or just layer under a jacket. Some reviews have stated that the sizing is off, but this wasn't my experience. It's held up with nonstop use this past year, and the fit is flattering and comfortable.
