Purchase was a gift. Recipient loved it. The coat was made very well. Recipient had trouble with the main zipper which is a double zipper in design.

This jacket was just what I hoped to be. I needed an all weather jacket for a trip, and this was light enough to wear comfortably on the plane, heavy enough to keep me warm through the cool misty weather of Oregon, and compact enough to fold into my suitcase for my return to Texas. I could wear a sweater under it for extra warmth, and the hood was a godsend. It became an "old friend" instantly, with no time needed for breaking in. I think it will also serve me well through the moderate winter temps here at home. Very happy with this purchase.

I love the fit and the weight is versatile. If I want to wear something heavy under it, I can, or just wear something light. Looks fantastic

I was out to lunch with father at an outdoor restaurant. It was chillier than I had anticipated. He gave me his jacket to cover me from the chill. He'd had the jacket forever, it seemed. I couldn't believe how warm and light weight it was. It was wool lined. I tried to find the exact match online. The closest current version was flannel with a wool blend, so I decided to try this version. It is a little bit more crinkley on the exterior, which is better in water resistance. It's just as light weight and perfect for layering. I think a wool liner would be more preferable to me. However, it is very warm and has a flattering fit for women. I absolutely love it.

I absolutely love this jacket. It is thinner than I thought, but will do the job when the cold hits. It is also nice in the rains. I can put a sweatshirt or sweater on and the coat doesn't feel tight. The jacket is well made too. I hope it lasts me many years.

Originally ordered the petite large and although it zipped, I sent it back for the petite XL because I wanted to wear a sweatshirt underneath this fall. I think the fit is slightly fitted so it doesn't look too bulky and it adjusts with a drawstring at the waist for a more flattering fit. I also love the velcro sleeves because usually the petite sleeves are still long on my short arms. If you are between the large and extra large sizes order a size up. Can't wait for a rainy day to wear this well made coat.

I bought a size up so I could wear a light hoodie underneath. Pockets are roomy. I love my jacket it is waterproof and looks nice on me if I do say so myself.

I live in New Mexico where it can be snowing and windy in the morning and then warm and sunny all in the same day. The best strategy here is layering, so I add a warm sweater or vest underneath instead of wearing a heavy winter coat. This takes care of 90% of my fall and winter needs. This jacket is of outstanding quality, really love the heavy brass two-way zipper. The fabric is a little "crispy" but that doesn't bother me. Only thing you need to be aware of is that the colors are actually much darker than they appear onscreen. Love the teal though--it's a little different, but goes with a lot of things. Fit is flattering, true to size. This will carry me through late fall all the way into spring. Recommended!
