I ordered up to a size large so I can wear it over heavier layers and use the jacket more year-round here in Michigan. I get too hot in stores shopping with a thick winter coat, but when I wear this, I'm fine in the store yet warm enough outside as well. (I'm 5'4", 140lb.) It will be great in warmer weather too very wind and water resistant. Great-looking and long enough to cover most of my longer sweaters. Another goodie from Bean!

Love this jacket. Great fit, easy to wear, long enough to cover my back side and an up/down zipper so its comfortable to sit in.

I chose the next size up so that I could comfortably wear a sweater under the jacket and that works well.

I am 5'3 118 lbs. a medium fit very well . It is a very attractive jacket. I am well pleased . You will be too. I wear it with either a flannel shirt or a heavy sweater underneath it.

Very cute and flattering jacket. Haven't worn in rain yet but keeps the wind out really well!

Overall, this coat is a win as a transitional jacket for the shoulder seasons. It's not super warm, as others have noted, but I sized it appropriately to layer underneath. It's water resistant as well; I stayed perfectly dry last weekend during snow and some light rain. Giving it five stars even though the sleeves are a little long. I find petite sizes can run too short, so anticipated this issue, and the velcro is a nice touch so I can keep the sleeves off my hands if need be. For fit: I'm 5 foot 3 inch, 115lbs, and the small has plenty of give for sweaters/layering. It falls a few inches below my behind when standing.

Great falls coat. Runs big, I normally wear a small and bought an extra small since it was so big.

I love this jacket. It's light weight and I bought it big enough to wear a turtleneck or sweater under it. The sleeves are a bit long but the rest is very comfortable and sleeves can be tightened with the Velcro or rolled up.

The flannel lining isn't as warm a lining as I thought it would be. Other than that I love the quality, the look, the length, the fit and the wind resistance. Another quality piece of LL Bean outerwear to add to my collection.

Love the jacket. It was a little lighter than I thought it would be. Great for cooler days, but definitely not a cold weather jacket. Love the fact that there is a satin type fabric in the sleeves. Easy on and off. Plus the same fabric is on the lower third of the jacket. No sticking to your clothes or bunching up. It has become my go to jacket!!

Lightweight warmth for a windy fall day or will keep the cold winter wind out when worn with a cozy sweater. Roomy cut for the winter layers. Love this jacket !

Perfect coat for in between Fall and Winter. Haven't tried it out for Spring yet, but I bet it'll be great!

Great jacket! Warmer than I expected and have been wearing it even through our first hard freeze. Easily slips over layers and keeps out wind and rain. Plus it's darn cute so I'm comfortable and fashionable too.

I loved the way this jacket fit the second I put it on- roomy but flattering! It's not really lined or insulated, but I'll be able to fit it over my bulkiest sweaters. It's a win for me!

One of the best raincoats I have ever owned! Walked through a downpour with our recent nor'easter up in New England and I was dry where the coat covered.
