Disappointed that the front zipper does not work and I haven't been able to wear this yet. It looks like there are 2 different sizes of the pull which do not align properly.

A very nice coat but the double zipper never worked properly. Continually ran off the track. Even the very helpful LL Bean employees in the shop had trouble with the zipper. Very disappointed

I was very disappointed with the quality of this purchase. I have bought several LL Bean raincoats over the years and they lasted longer than any other brands. I wore this one twice and it soaked through.

I should have paid more attention to reviews that mentioned the zipper. The zipper is impossible - difficult to move up or down. Totally unsatisfactory & disappointing for an LL Bean product. On its way back to LL Bean.

I did not want a jacket that you could not unzip the front. It is a horrible design. The fit from the waist down is very slim. You can not sit down in it. The only way to put on is over the head or try and step into it.

Very disappointing. Looks rather cheap for such an expensive coat and the zipper is impossible! Am definitely returning. This is not up to LL Bean standards at all

I don't normally leave reviews, but this rain jacket left me scathing. I live in the rainy northwest but haven't had a new raincoat in many years. I decided to treat myself and buy a brand new coat. What a bummer. The material feels cheap and the zipper is useless. It unzipped poorly, and I was never able to get it zipped back up-- it stayed stuck at the bottom. I had to crawl out of the darned thing. It's an incredibly cheap plastic zipper, which I should have expected from some of the reviews. But despite all the warnings, I bought the coat anyways. The only plus is that the form is really cute and quite flattering. I wanted this coat to work out, I really did. But it's useless as a rain jacket if I can't zip it up. Seriously, do yourself a favour. Save your money and find something else.

Extremely disappointed. Apparently, there IS a problem with the zipper on this particular raincoat. When I called LLBean to return it, the customer service acknowledged the defect ("Oh, that one"), yet LLBean continues to sell it. Maybe LLBean should pull this model raincoat from inventory until this zipper defect can be fixed. But they shouldn't keep filling orders for it KNOWING that there's a more than likely chance that the zipper is incorrectly installed and WILL NOT zip up or down. I had to use pliers to raise the zipper 3 inches and then I was really stuck and had to step out of the garment. The fact that it was defective wasn't that upsetting, but the fact that it continues to be sold is very disheartening. I relied on LLBean for their quality for most of my life (and I'm 70).

I REALLY should have read the reviews before I purchased. I intended to replace the LLB raincoat that I had for many years, but I inadvertanly left it on the plane. I even called the airline but no luck. So I ordered this raincoat AND WAS MORTIFIED when I saw it. It was so thin, I could fold it up to a 4 x 4 square - just like paper, AND the worst part was the zipper. I could unzip it ( with WD40) but I needed pliers to get it back down. I've now noticed several reviews with the faulty zippers. Why doesn't LLB fix this problem?

If there was a minus zero zero, I would still add another zero...I read all the reviews and should have not even bothered to order...each review was 100%...the zipper is disgusting, I had to crawl out of raincoat...it smelled, was so wrinkled it looked as if the creases were pressed in...I cannot return this item fast enough...what is happening to LLB...getting to purchase less and less

Unfortunately the zipper doesn't work.. tried one at a store and had problems. So, I ordered one, having faith in an LL Bean product. Much to my disappointment, this one was defective also. Had to return it. Bummer.

It appears that the plastic zipper may be an issue. I have worn it three times and the zipper has been difficult to work. When a raincoat is priced at $160 I don't expect to have step out of it. I am in my '70's and am concerned that this could cause a fall. The only raincoats I have bought since the '80s have been LLBean. I have never experienced this issue to such a degree. I don't know of anything to replace it with. It did keep me completely dry in a downpour but the zipper is a concern.

Rain coat did not come in a large enough size. Exchanged in store for a men's 2XX. Would have liked this color much more but had to settle for a banana yellow. Boo Hoo.

Loved the style...but should have listened to other reviewers. The zipper is defective....

I bought this raincoat with high expectations to replace one I've been using for a few years that started to shred at the inside material at the neck under the hood. This raincoat, unlike my last, doesn't have velcro at the sleeves to get a nice, tight fit. It has two snaps that didn't come close to a nice fit. The piece of velcro I had on my last hood was gone, no chance to fit the hood so it didn't come flopping over my forehead. No brim in the hood. The material is quite a bit lighter..but the most irritating was the zipper. Zipper and pieces did not fit properly. Getting the zipper lined up to go up and down was a struggle. Cheap plastic zipper didn't move smoothly once it was moving. Because of the other reviews I ordered up one size. That worked well. The size was perfect. I have two other LLBean raincoats that I've been using for years without any of these problems. I was disappointed.

What is wrong with your designers? This coat fits perfectly everywhere but the arms. They are stunningly too small! If someone is large enough to require a size 2X, you can reasonably assume that their arms are fat too! I kept the last arms-too-small raincoat because I had a time crunch, but I've never worn it since that trip. I'm very disappointed in LL Bean because everything else I buy fits fine. Please do something about your raincoats! Thank you.

The 2 way zipper, plastic got stuck and could not try it on. I t went back. Te style is wonderful. Toobad the zipper was a cheap zipper. :( I could not tell you if it was true to size.

I have been unable to wear this raincoat Twice I have had zipper failure I was able to get the zipper working after the first time, but decided the second time it was not worth the trouble I love the coat otherwise, But both times I tried to wear it the zipper failed

I ordered a petite M.The fit was a little small but ok if you don't wear layers. The overall construction was good, but I sent it back because the zipper kept on jamming.. I am hoping the stowaway jacket I ordered works.

Zipper. Just got and the zipper got stuck and couldn't undo. Sent back. So sad! I loved it Wanted it bigger to wear sweaters underneath
