I love the raincoat, but the zipper is a nightmare. Constantly getting stuck, I have had to step out of the cost on several occasions. I have had two other LL Bean coats both of which had zipper issues, but nothing like this coat. Disappointed!

I bought the Meridian rain coat for everyday use as well as for travel. I have lived with it for several weeks now and have to say the zipper on this coat is difficult to use. The function of the zipper does not catch easily and the zip is hard and slow to make work. Overall the zipper has diminished my overall satisfaction for this coat. I am considering using soap or wax to make the zipper easier to use.

Too expensive

The very light color selection is what I need for visibility safety in my city intersections where I only walk or bus, but the design of this 3/4 coat was very strange on me, even though it looked great in the photo a customer submitted. The top cape poked out in front and more in back and the lower part of the coat is quite fitted. When it arrived I thought I'd received a mistake, because the package looked like it only could contain something as small as a traditional tee shirt, but in fact it contained the coat -- it is astonishingly light and folds up surprisingly small. Because I'm usually walking enough distance that my body warms up and I need to open the coat to cool a little, and need to open the coat when I'm inside any business, the fact there are no snaps is a deal breaker. I'm 5'4" 122 I had to return the coat.

Really loved the style of this coat. It fit perfectly except for the sleeves which went down to my knuckles--not the kind of sleeve with a cuff that could be rolled up. Disappointed that I had to return it.

I like this waterproof jacket/coat/long jacket. BUT the zipper is installed as it would be on a man's garment. (Opposite from a zipper on a woman's jacket.) It's very difficult to zip. (And it's a YKK zipper.)

Love the style & color size runs small. I had to go up a size to fit a lightweight sweater under the coat on a cold day.. The zipper needs to be zipped carefully.. it sticks , doesn't zip easily - don't like that at all & almost returned the coat because of that.

Very thin for the price it should be lined . Flattering fit.

Ran narrow unfortunately for my curvier shape. Long arms too. Interesting mustard color - a nice change. Okay, not great in a rainstorm. Still felt dampness inside after walking my dog in a surprise shower. Unsure if I'd pay full price - glad it was on sale. Sorry LLBean. Not my favorite from you this time.

I was disappointed in the style and returned it. The color was more cream than silver birch.

I like the bright bronze color. Who wants a dreary color on a dreary day? And I want a color drivers can see. I like the length. I've had to fight the zipper. I ordered a zipper lube stick and applied it to the ends. So it's less of a struggle, but still awkward. I ordered the zipper lube from Wawak. I hope the Bangladeshi workers got their fair cut of the selling price.

Unfortunately, coat was not what I expected. Material was very flimsy. Also,did not like the way the hood fit.

I have 2 very effective and well-designed rain jackets, but I wanted a raincoat for when it is already raining when I go out, and in situations where I am not wearing rain pants. This coat does not work for me. While the drawstring to cinch in the waist is placed very high, well above my natural waist, I was willing to overlook that. I like the color and the cape at the top. However, I recently wore it for the first (and only) time when I needed to go to the supermarket. It was then that I discovered that the hood is terrible. There is no way to adjust it to make sure it stays on my head while allowing me to turn my head to safely navigate the parking lot. I wanted to be able to avoid carrying an umbrella, but found that this hood required me to hold it in place, especially as I turned my head to check traffic. It kept my body dry, but not my head, so I will be returning it and hoping that the description of the H2OFF coat as having an improved hood is indeed accurate.

This raincoat is a flattering style and fits nicely, however I am disappointed in the fabric. It's thin and airy, not what I anticipated especially for the price. Wish it was available in other colors, could be a summer raincoat but price still a concern.

I was disappointed to be honest. It seem like a lot of money for basically a long windbreaker. Not much body to it at all and certainly not some thing I would wear in cold weather

The sleeves on this petite jacket are way too long and I will be returning it. The overall length is fine. I tried to roll up the sleeves but they were a constant bother. I don't want to pay for a tailor to alter them.

I would have loved this coat if it weren't corn the fit. My measurement were within the parameter on your 'size chart' and still the two I bought were too snug around the waist and hips. ie: not much accommodation for a woman shape . The three that I bought all were too straight,although technically they fit, it was hard to sit down!

The styling is nice and does the trick. The biggest disappointment is it doesn't fit great in waist for tall women. More tall woman options needed

Coat is functional but the zipper as stated by many is a bit cheesey as compared to previous LLBean quality. If you are going to charge more for a product people do not mind paying the price if they truly get better than average QUALITY and DURABILITY. Better yet, make them here in America so we can help to support our own local economic industries.

Nice coat, except the zipper was difficult and not smooth. Not worth the price.

Great fit and Styling! Flimsy zipper panel and awkward ties. High price.

I haven't yet purchased this raincoat as I have a question that I don't see answered in the description. Can anyone tell me if the coat is lined and, if so, what is the lining like?

I like the style and it is waterproof but, as others have said, the zipper is a problem. You have to be very careful when zipping it up.

While I love this raincoat because it is lightweight and easy to move in the zipper is an issue. It is very difficult to zip and unzip. I even took it back to exchange but the other ones in the store are difficult as well. Several times I was unable to unzip it and had to step out of it to free myself. Since I haven't had it very long I am going to wear it a bit more before I decide to return it or not.
