It's a lovely, lightweight coat. Pretty color. Flattering. Wish it also had snap closures.

The rain coat is comfortable. I feel that the fit is true to size, and I like the style. I was out walking in a heavy rain and it kept me dry. I do feel that the price was a little too expensive.

I purchased this after reading reviews of it. I got mine a size larger than I need because this "coat" is really more of a well designed shell. I wear additional layers under it. But for what it is, it's got the LL Bean quality that we all expect. Good construction, great design. The zipper may be tricky if you don't take care to really lock the two pieces together before you try to zip it up. But I have had no problems. My greatest issue is that I think the price is way too high. But after looking around, this rain jacket is still useful for both warm and cold weather (because I can layer underneath), so it was less expensive than buying a summer rain jacket and a winter rain jacket for walking the dogs.

I wore this coat in driving rain for a 1 mile walk. I did not get wet and neither did dog treats or handkerchief in the pockets. I would have given it 5 stars but I thought the coat would be more substantial instead of basically a shell. Having said that there is enough room to layer if needed for cooler weather.

I like the jacket but it is a little small.

I love the raincoat and the color. I first ordered it in my normal size of M petite but much to small. Order the next size up for a good fit.

I like the "coat," which is really more like a shell, thin and lightweight, but good for travel and easy to pack. I am torn, however, about recommending it because of the zipper. I have struggled and struggled with it. It does not move smoothly, but rather in jerks and spurts. A raincoat should be easy to zip up and zip off. What I do like is the trim style and the weight. I'm inclined to keep it--to cut off the tags. If,I find I can not master the zipper, I shall return the coat. But, I'll test it some more before I act.

I love the look of this coat as I am getting ready for a trip to Spain where the weather will be unpredictable. The coat looks and fits great. I am petite and it is difficult to find something that is truly petite in length of the sleeves, overall length, etc. But I have only tried it on a couple of times and the zipper seems a bit fussy so I will see what happens. Fingers crossed that it is just a matter of getting used it.

I returned this jacket as it was too lightweight and felt flimsy.

I bought a large to fit over sweaters etc. and it was very form fitting over just a Tshirt, had to exchange for an XL. Hoping that will be better. The zipper is awkward and not an easy slide. This is a VERY thin raincoat for the price, BUT it will be great for travel and work so I splurged.

Stylish lightweight, but tight on hips. No buttons

This coat is a good fit and a great length for rain coverage. I like the cape for extra protection and a bit of style. It's very light, unlined, but functions well as a windbreaker. Haven't been in a downpour yet, but it's kept me dry in light rain. Really my only complaint is that the zipper isn't very smooth when you try to zip it upit sticks a bit as it goes up or down. This rated a 3 from me because on a recent trip there was a lot of zipping and unzipping and it was a bit annoying when I was in a hurry!

The fit is off. I have narrow hips and normally wear a small or extra small in Llbean clothing. The small in this is way too narrow in the hips and huge on top. Even the medium and large are not to my liking because of the odd shape top to bottom.

I bought this coat last fall. It was very good in cool weather, but it is not breathable and in hot weather It is very uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this coat to a friend without informing them about this downside .

I returned this coat after a few days. I liked the material which is very lightweight and breathable and I liked that this was long enough to cover bum and upper legs since most rain jackets are shorter. But I didn't love the style and fit. For a close to $200 jacket, I felt I should love it. Too pricey for something that was just adequate.

For the most part, kept dry. Zipper teeth are hard material, difficult to zip some times the teeth don't mesh felt cold and damp on shoulders under cape, only mesh not solid material(heavy sweater was worn)

Is a great rain coat except for the difficulty of getting the zipper connected & pulled up. Seems to be a much cheaper, flimsier zipper than on my other llbean coats, jackets, & vests.

nice coat, but it is cut too small to layer over clothing. The arms are too short and narrow, and the shoulders need to be roomier. Returned.

Lovely colorextremely light weight. Feel like it might tear easily. I'm 5' 4" and the large fit perfectly, especially if I wore sweater underneath. A little pricey. Style is rather cool.

I am trying to replace my 7 year old waterproof LLBean rain jacket. Same length but not "fitted." Disappointing that there is no relaxed fit like my old one.

Although very cute and fits well it only has a zipper. It looks like a trench coat but there is no way to only close it at the waist. It's either fully opened or you must close it all the way from the bottom. Why not have snaps too? Zipper is not great quality either. Bummer- I'm returning it.

Bought a large for roomy fit but it was way too small.

Like: green color because it matches with all; plenty of pockets; the length and fit, it keeps me dry & can wear a sweater underneath; hood, it stays up and protects my hair & makeup. Dislike: the plastic snaps/zipper; wish it rolled up into one of the pockets.

Very thin nylon. It's pictured differently than it really is. It's like a thin windbreaker. It's definitely not a substantial raincoat. Almost see-through material.

I bought this for my wife, a hiker. I thought the complaints about the zipper were exasperated. The very first time she tried it on, the zipper jammed. And the second, and the third. It worked the 4th time. Now she won't unzip it entirely, rather stepping through it and slipping it on and off. I guess LL Bean's zipper supplier gave them a great deal on these. Be forewarned...the plastic zipper is a horror show. A shame it is otherwise excellent.
