The large is quite tight (and the normal size I'd order) and the zipper is troublesome. I am going to attempt to size up... BUT worried about the issue with the zipper. It's a good looking coat, lightweight and would be ideal for travel.

the coat is very thin, for spring through fall. Great to pack. The color, Silver Birch, is very pretty. overall I like it. I didn't have the zipper problems others reported. but it is a little tight in the shoulders/underarm area when putting it on over a hoodie or heavy sweater. I think this could use a little tweaking in design. would recommend even with the shoulder issue. its a nice light raincoat.

I purchased this coat for trip to London where is frequently rains. I wanted a raincoat that would be 100 % waterpoof. I haven't tested it yet so I am counting on the reviews that it is.. My only issue is that even though I ordered it as soon I as I received the catalogue in the mail, they were basically sold out which left me with few sizes and color choices. I am a petite but settled for women's medium. It is long and the sleeves are somewhat long, but it will be fine as long as I stay dry.

This rain jacket is very comfortable and I love the length in the back to keep the seat dry. I was disappointed in there not being an inside pocket. When I tried it on in the store and saw the inside mesh, I thought it was an inside pocket, but it was the mesh of the exterior pocket. The drawstrings waist was great for extra room to cover additional layers or a fanny pack,

Comfortable and easy to hang. Bought to replace a raincoat that was purchased from here a few years ago. Just worry about the inside material disintegrating.

I needed a longer rain coat to cover tunics that I wear during the summer. This fit well and I like the style. The carbon navy color is a very dark navy blue. I've been wearing petite XL but I lost 10 lbs. I got this in petite XL because one or two reviews mentioned it was small in the waist. It was described as being wind proof but I haven't had a chance to try it on a windy day. I gave 4 stars because I don't yet know if it's windproof.

There is so much to love with this raincoat: it is waterproof, lands about the knees, lightweight, attractive color, waist can be adjusted. It is narrow in the hips, fitting me with no room to spare even while wearing thin clothes. I had to return it because it was too small in the hips (I am size 10).

The zipper works fine. The fabric seems waterproof though I haven't been in a downpour. I bought a Large even though I am a 10/12. It doesn't feel Large. There's an odd bump in the fully closed zipper so I unzip from the bottom about 12". I wish I had tried an XL instead. I have worn it too much to return and who knows how long the arms would be.

Very versatile Rain coat lots of pockets, zippers can be undone from the bottom for easy sitting down. great hood.. very lightweight and packable.

The very first wear the zipper is getting stuck and difficult to undo. I thought maybe because it was new. But it's not the case, I feel that the actual zipper piece doesn't fit the bottom piece to line up correctly at all. Will be returning this, which makes me sad

Believe all the other reviews that complain about the zipper.they are right! The coat arrived today and it won't open to try on. Super light weightexcellent for packingit you can step into it.

I bought this rain coat for its length and weight. I bought an extra large so that I could wear a light fleece underneath. It fits well except for tightness in the shoulders. An even larger size would have been too large. Because it is perfect for Oregon weather I decided to keep it.

Nice styling and longer length. I purchased for several trips I have planned and I liked its packability. I have not worn it yet, but was drawn to it for its breathability, length and claim of being waterproof. I am 5'6", 132lbs and the size small fits very well. Roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath foradded warmth.

Nice coat, I kept it, a little tight on the hips though.

I like the fit. I wore it in the rain with a sweater under it. Very comfortable and it kept me dry. I do have one complaint, and that is the zipper which does not move as easily as it should. Suggest a better quality zipper be used in this coat.

Fits me very well, roomy folded the sleeves up once, I got the normal size even though I tried the petite (am 5' 126 lb) because the petite had a lot less room in the arm hole area, and if I wore a sweatshirt over my polo shirt (because the coat is thin, so might on a chilly rainy day), it would have felt tight in the armpit area. I like the coat a lot, got to test it out last week at an outdoor concertI stayed dry! The zipper is tricky, it takes some tries to get it to line up and zip smoothly. In the store when I zipped it, it went crazy off the zipper track, but they fixed it. Now I know to really carefully to line it up exactly, verified it's really pushed in and hooked in place and then go slowly to make sure before pulling it the rest of the way up.

The coat drapes nicely and has a nice feel. I like the weight and length. I wish it were a little fuller in the lower half, which made me go up a size and pause to decide whether to return it. However with the two-way zipper, it still works. This is the third coat of this type I bought at LL Bean. It works year-round with a warm layer.

I really love many things about this rain coat -- the longer length and hood especially. However, the zipper can be difficult . I had to exchange the first coat I got, as the zipper was totally unworkable. The new one is much better, but I must take care. That said, the coat is well made and is just what I need.

The zipper can misbehave easily. Zip and unzip became doable for me when I learned to put the coat in my lap and go slowly.

Great to have a medium length raincoat! When it rains& the wind is nasty, longer coverage is great! It is just better (and not bulky) than a jacket.

Ran narrow unfortunately for my curvier shape. Long arms too. Interesting mustard color - a nice change. Okay, not great in a rainstorm. Still felt dampness inside after walking my dog in a surprise shower. Unsure if Id pay full price - glad it was on sale. Sorry LLBean. Not my favorite from you this time.

I happily found the 3/4 length rain coat that suits most occasions as well as keeps me from getting wet. Perfect look for me at 5'2".

This coat is wonderful! Well ventilated, lightweight, with well designed pockets and zipper - and attractive! I had to size up to allow for a warm layer underneath.

I just love the fit. Its adorable. Ive already gotten so many compliments on it.
