Bought this because it's described as waterproof. Maybe in misty rain. I wore it recently and there was a quick rain shower. Rain soaked right thru. Good as a windbreaker but not good for rain

I need to take another look at the product description (when shopping online) looking for disclosure that 100% recycled nylon (not made in the USA) was the material used - only time will tell about durability.

Have one for years. So was looking forward to new one. It does have all the original pockets zippers, velcro, Great! But they have shortened the length, and tighten across shoulders, and material is so thin, it was like a windbreaker. So disappointing! It used to be a fantastic rain jacket;

I am 4'11" and the sleeves are way too long for someone of this height.

Disappointed. I literally bought this raincoat on the way to my daughter's soccer game, as the forecast called for rain. I ended up wet and cold. The jacket was not protective. I love the cut and style of the jacket, though.

I have a 3-in-1 jacket I purchased ~6 years ago. This rain jacket is supposed to be the same as used for the 3-in-1. The seam tape on my 3 in 1 rain jacket is coming off, so I want to replace it. My old jacket is a PM. I ordered a PM, and the old jacket is 1" wider on both sides, has shorter arms, and much more room through the shoulders. It has never been dried in the dryer. It is so much more comfortable. Why does LLBean keep skimping on newer clothes? I notice this on other things from them. We as a nation are not getting smaller. It's also getting more difficult to buy petite clothing from them as they are not offering many items. I do wish I was taller but...... I also noticed that when they ask you what size you bought for this review, petite isn't even an option. That tells me petites could be on the way out. I've bought LLBean products for 44 years. Out of a group of 8 female friends, we are all petites!!! Please don't ignore us!! We are all active in sports, and we need clothing, too.

Bought a Large which fits everywhere except the hips. They seem to be scimping on material in this area. Larger size would be huge in the shoulders. Bought another style and same thing. I have a coat version in another style and that is fine. Why is there a difference?

I was very disappointed in the color. Thought it would be more of a vibrant green like the monitor showed. In reality, it is a rather dull looking green. It also is a lot of money for how flimsy it is. It does fit well.

Tight. I normally taken between 2xl & 3xl...but this just would not cut it. Extremely disappointing. It was hot to even try on...would be nice with some ventilation. Wish had inside pockets

I wear 2x tops from LLBean. I bought a 3x jacket so it would be roomy and large enough to allow layers underneath for varying temperatures. It is tight in the bust area and in the upper arms. I'm a bit disapponted in the fit, but the color is beautiful and the jacket is good quality. I'm thinking of keeping it for when I lose weight.

Love the style, but in 70 degree weather in Northern Italy it poured rain and I froze. It needs a mesh lining.

If you are carrying this coat around don't forget to fold it in to itself. The many Velcro tabs have ruined many a sweater

It's past the year mark for any kind of a guarantee, but I wanted to note that the lining of the jacket is peeling off, falling off. The shedding material is in the car, on the sidewalk, on the dentist's office floor and now in the trash.. I have other rain jackets that are older and have never peeled. Can I trust a new LLB rain jacket?

I bought this for a trip (which I haven't taken yet), but it runs small. I bought L, and it won't do for layering, which I had hoped it would. SIZE UP if you want to wear a layer or two. And I call BOGUS advertising in the "packs into a hand pocket" claim. There are 2 hand pockets, each 4" x about 10". IF there was a way to tightly roll the jacket into a tiny roll, you might have a chance of jamming it into a pocket, but it simply won't fit. Contrast that with my old jacket that isn't waterproof anymore, where the pocket was 10" x 9". I hope it is AT LEAST waterproof, but time will tell

My husband and I bought these rain jackets for a trip to 2 yrs ago. They've been fine for light showers, but untested in heavy rain until last year. When we were caught in a heavy steady downpour, we were soaked though and sweaty. Not waterproof and no ventilation! Llbean has always been our go to. So disappointed!!

This could have been the best rain jacket ever if not for all the Velcro. The zipper is covered with a flap that sufficiently protects the length of the zipper, but several pieces of Velcro also run the length of the zipper flap. THE FLAP DOES NOT NEED VECRO TO HOLD IT DOWN! This makes it ridiculously cumbersome to zip and unzip the jacket. You have to use one hand to pull apart each Velcro section to move the zipper along then you hit another Velcro section. Impossible to quickly get it on in the rain or when jumping out of your car. Too much effort to open and close. The over lap flap alone will keep rain off the zipper, if that was the intent. PlLEASE redesign this without Velcro. It would be a perfect jacket and I would buy for myself and family. As it is now, I have to return this.

So disappointed. Bought for camping trip for daughter. It rained all day and this jacket did not keep her dry. The rain soaked through. Might have worked if it had only been misting.

$99 doesn't buy much these days. The zipper on this jacket is so cheap that I doubt if it will last more than a few months - it's junk

Fits tight, especially in the shoulders and I bought a 2X. When zipping, the velcro gets in the way. Fabric makes me feel like I'm wearing a rubber suit. Probably sending back

Sleeves were tight. Would never be able to wear over a sweatshirt or heavy sweater. Have to return the jacket since it was for a trip.

I'm an LL Bean fan and was disappointed with this jacket. Luckily, I ordered a size larger than I would normally purchase and it is still skimpy. If I wanted to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under it, it definitely wouldn't fit. Definitely not thrilled with this purchase for almost $100.

Nice color, portable but it is NOT breathable, very sweat-inducing.
