My sister wears this under a wool jacket. It has a hood also but this hood fits her better. And she has no draft going down her neck. It is true to size.

surprisingly warm for weight and practical to wear alone or layered

Lightweight, warm enough for 50 degree or warmer day or as a layer on a colder day, and the hood is very useful on a rainy or snowy day. I got the pinkish color which adds a fun element since a lot of my outerwear and pants are black, black, and more black. I am 5 call'8", 130 lbs and the size small is a great fit.

I purchased the blue vest a few years back. Love it. Added the black to my wardrobe this year. Nice quality. Comfortable fit. Easily washes and has held up well. I play a winter sport and these vests are my go to's.

I like this vest because it's a little bit longer than the average vest.

This vest is perfect! Love the length and hood. I wish you offered more colors. Would like a wine color, or dark green. I read the reviews before ordering and watched a video about how to work the long zipper. The video was well done and worth watching on how to zip properly. The vest is warm. I travel all over the country with this vest.

great fit, very comfortable, light weight and warm.

It is thin but provides and extra warm layer under whatever i wear. I specifically like the hood as it stops cold air from going down my back. I wear it under everything possible for a lttle extra warmth. Highly recommend.

This vest is great! I'm 5'6 130 lbs purchased the small. This is a very flattering vest and I love the longer length. I have not had any problems with the zipper.

Great fit, and warmth, however very breathable. I like the stretch panels on the side to give me a curvier feel rather than bulky. Packs up into a purse easily. Love the hood option, although I would have preferred to have the option of removing it.

Fits perfect and I love the extra long length. I am 5'5", weigh 160 and bought a large. Great to layer under a rain jacket. Used it on a recent trip and the big zipper pockets were great for storing stuff. I even used the packaway inside pocket for my passport and credit cards.

I debated about ordering this vest and finally pulled the trigger. I'm so glad I did! In the few weeks I've had it, I've worn it to play golf in our fall temps as well as while driving from PA to FL through below normal temps. The vest is lightweight but warm. It's not heavy enough for PA winters but perfect for cool falls and springs. I bought the mariner blue with black side panels. The design is flattering and coordinates with both black and navy jeans or other pants. I went with my usual size PL and can fit a fleece or sweatshirt under it for added warmth.

Perfect for recent trip to England - it was warm on the cool days and not too hot on the warm days. Easy to travel with.

Love the longer length. I bought the light pink/black and it goes with so many things. This is perfect for fall when its not quite cold enough for my coat, but still a bit chilly.
