Love these vests. This is my second one and I love them both for their barely-there feel and just enough warmth to help on those days when it's only a little cool out (roughly 38-55 degrees F). I especially love the longer back to help protect from wind. The hoods are generously sized as well.

I own 3 of these Fall/Winter staples. They are the perfect weight--not bulky, yet warm. The hoods are a little big, but I simply roll it back when I need to wear the hood and it seems to do the trick. I like the length and style. I'd buy more if additional colors become available.

Great vest. Long enough to cover torso. Light enough to pack easily.

Perfect for comfort and style. The length is great for chilly days in Michigan to layer over a sweater. Loved so much I purchased one in each color.

I had to look back through my purchase history a few years to remember the name of this vest so I can order another. I am a big fan of this vest, in no small part because of the double-zipper. LLBean, you've done away with that double zip in so many thingsplease keep it on this vest, as I'll order another color next winter! I wear mine around the house and also driving, so the zip up from the bottom is a huge help. Could not love it more! More colors, please!

I love this vest for its length and warmth. I wish the hood was detachable. I read in the reviews where someone had cut it off so that's what I did. Much better without the hood.

Nice lightweight, warm, and versatile vest. Fit is on the longer side but not overwhelming. I really like the side gussets, 2-way zipper and hood features. I've ordered a second one in black and hoping LLB adds a few more colors this year..

I've been looking for a longer vest for some time. Didn't need it too long though. I'm 6'1" and shop tall when I can. Length is perfect to keep my lower back warm. Double zipper is nice to have just in case for comfort or functionality. Love the hood too! Good for around the house or out and about on a cool (not cold) day.

Pricey but product totally worth it. I did not want a heavy down vest this is lightweight with a hood & pockets! Has longer length which i wanted. Great for layering. Quality zipper. LLBean craftsmanship.

Best longish vest on the market when you need protection and warmth, it even has an interior chest pocket for my phone. Liked it so much I ordered another one in a different color. A layering 'must have' for the New England winter.

I bought this vest for winter hiking as I needed a layer with a hood. It has proved to be the perfect addition to my cold weather needs. I wore it yesterday on a 10 1/2 mile hike and when the winds started whipping at the summit I pulled the hood up and my neck and head were well protected. I also like how long it is as I get extra protection from the cold.

This is the best thing I bought this year (and I am a Bean super fan). First off is the length; it covers your bum and gives a nice smooth line. It is light weight but a lovely warmth. The sides stretch so you don't feel cramped and this enables you to wear the vest over all the medium weight tops you bought on sale. The hood isn't bulky but I do wear a baseball cap underneath so it doesn't slip over my face. And the very best thing is that I can wear it under my down coat for extra warmth. Where has this thing been all my life? I hope the great minds at LL Bean recognize that this vest is a winner and should be an annual offering including the basic black. Did I mention the brilliant two way zipper? I highly recommend this item and it is priced fairly.

Love this vest and would recommend it . Ordered a large and the fit is great. I'm 5'5" and 175#. I wear it when I don't need a heavy jacket or in the car when I don't like wearing my jacket, also nice to wear in the mall shopping instead of a big jacket.

Best vest for someone bigger in the hips. Most vests fit me above the hips, but too tight at hips. The panel on side allows for extra room and comfiness. I own 2 and am planning to order last color they make.

Love the length and fit & packaway capability. Hood is a tad to big as if to accommodate a helmet. But at least it can be synched. Although I like it, based on it's expensive price, I probably wouldn't have purchased it w/o my Bean Bucks. Otherwise, I'd recommend it.

I found this vest to be so light and comfortable. The fit is snug around my middle but I like that as it keeps my core warm. I live in Minnesota so this vest is not warm enough during winter but perfect for pre and post winter. That is why I bought it

Love this vest and am wearing it almost daily ! Longer length keeps my back warm when bending over. Also love the two-way zipper and think it should be included on all outer wear.

I love the long vest and the fitted style. Fits true to size with room to wear a sweater underneath. I do wish the hood was detachable. I also feel it's a little pricey...$150 for a vest is a bit steep.

Very pleased with this vest. I love the way vests offer some additional warmth without all the bulk of a jacket. I own several shorter vests but wanted one with length for windy days that demand more coverage. The pockets are plentiful and spacious. I did size up to accommodate layers. I generally wear hats but appreciate the hood for those days when the weather changes unexpectedly. Wish the color selection was a little more varied.

Light weight but comfortably warm for these fall days. I like that it is longer than normal & has a hood. Great fit. The blue color is perfect. Would recommend.
