Like this vest but wish it was three inches longer

Good for wearing to keep me warm but easy to remove when no longer need it.

Like the fit of the vest, but felt the material was too hefty. I took the gold zipper pulls off, because they were too gaudy.

Fits as expected. It is made of recycled material which is environmentally sound and felt harsh on first wearing. However, it soon softened and feels similar to one I purchased 10 years ago. It has a slightly felted appearance but I'm willing to accept that for the benefit of recycling.

This vest appeared to be of good quality. I liked the fabric and its appearance. However, like some other reviewers, I found that the fit was not quite right for me as there were unsightly gaps at the armholes. I am returning my order.

A comfortable vest. Provides warmth. There's nothing wrong with it. I'd just like something with a boost in color or design

Medium was too big and way too long for me. (I'm 5'3" 125lbs. The vest fits much better in a petite medium.

Good basic vest, well-constructed, nice color - fit was roomy, could accomodate a heavy sweater under the vest.

I bought the XL first and returned for L..which is still large, but doable. I like the weight of this vest, but it is boxy and longer than I like even with the tightening ability in the hem. The faux waist is also high, which is odd, since it's not really a waist, but a design detail to give the illusion of shape. if you are (blessed/cursed) with full breasts, LLB can be a challenging fit. I'd like to see a bit more fit in the Bean brand. Now after saying all this, this is a garment that will get plenty of wear.

Fabric is heavier and stiffer than I expected. With time I'm sure it will become as comfortable as the very old one it replaces.

Fits really well, arm holes aren't to big and the length is just right.

Ordered Women's Mountain Classic Fleece Vest navy color size Petite XS. Vest fit as expected, seems well constructed but fabric isn't as nice as my old LL Bean fleece vest. Also, would prefer discrete embroidered LL Bean logo in same color as vest like my old vest has rather than a prominent stitched logo on chest.

I wanted to replace this vest I purchased in navy blue years ago. I'm not going to, sadly. The vest I previously purchased has held up well and has served me in all regards. However, the colors now offered in this vest are not flattering (on anyone )so I'll look elsewhere. Come on L.L. Bean, can't you do a better job in color selections for customers?

Purchased a size small in teal, my regular size and it fit great. Purchased another in purple and it fit like an extra small so had to return. Perhaps it was sized incorrectly.

Nice and well-made, but I did not keep it. I am looking for something a bit more rugged and less form-fitting than this vest.

I loved this purple vest. But was so disappointed as I got a 2x and it did fit but was a bit tight and if I wanted to wear a sweat shirt it would of been too tight. Now they are all sold out. The man at the store said to keep checking as they might become available again.

I love this vest! I wear it almost everyday, inside the house and out. It's proven itself to stand the test of time and heavy use. my only complaint is the color selection. I'd love to see some more earthy or standard colors. I love the navy and green in the men's versionwomen like those colors too!

Fits well at a 3X over turtlenecks. Soft. The color, sienna brick, is more muted than the catalog/web site shows.

I was delighted to see that this style and weight of fleece vest was again being offered and in a color I didn't already have--classic, all one color, and a versatile weight, especially for someone who lives in CA. I do wish that they were still made from authentic Malden Mills original polarfleece that is loftier, supremely durable, doesn't pill, and lasts forever. I have a large wardrobe of these in a variety of colors that I started acquiring soon after I moved from New England to CA 30 years ago, plus a couple that were my mother's. Only one hasn't survived in great shape, this because my dog chewed a hole in the pocket to get a treat that was in it!

This is nice fleece vest with pockets and comes in petite sizes. I do not especially like the long style. I prefer a vest that ends just below the waist. Sometimes the longer style seems like you are wearing a blanket.

I purchased this to replace a beloved older LL Bean fleece vest. This vest is thick, warm fleece. The teal color is nice. The petite medium, my usual size, was a little snug in the chest, so I exchanged for a petite large so I could layer over a sweater. I don't care for the cord pulls on the zipper and pockets, but those can be changed. I dislike the prominent LL Bean logo, which is why this item received 4 stars instead of 5.
